"Used to be lovely but the service and food has gone down. We got here at 12.15 and chose off the menu that is served from noon but was told we'd have to wait til 12.30, I think the kitchen staff were under pressure. We were on a timescale so no problem my friend chose off the breakfast menu, and I had a sausage roll from the counter. Food wasn't as good as it used to be, poached eggs were dry and the bread that they're served on are like doorsteps! if that's your thing you'll be OK. Sausage roll was burnt on the top, but as I was hungry I had it anyway and picked off the burnt bits. There's plenty of staff but they're not exactly serving more like standing around talking to each other. I've been here a few times this year and we were let down in August for a booking we made for a birthday. I really like the setting and counter delicacies, but other than that we won't be coming back for brunch, lunch or dinner, that ship has sailed."

"Perhaps we were unlucky but we had to wait two hours between sitting down for lunch and getting our main course. Pretty much every order (food, drinks, desert) had something missing that we had to chase and wait for. We had to go to the bar and collect our own drinks having seen them poured (eventually) and then sat on the bar for too long. Food good and service friendly we got a discount on the bill but not sure it’s enough to make me return."

"My partner and I had a wonderful experience today, and we will definitely be returning. I enjoyed a lovely starter, and my partner was thrilled with the beef main course. The desserts were delightful, and the wine selection was impressive. We always appreciate seeing Kate, and the waitstaff and manager were accommodating and gracious."

"The food and drinks at Branches are grossly overpriced. We paid £200 for two amateur starters, two bland fillet steaks with sides, and a dreadful carafe of sangria. Despite being willing to pay for great quality, the food and drinks at Branches are no better than what you would find at McDonald's. The manager's arrogance does not match the restaurant's standard of quality. If you're looking for a place to take pictures for social media, Branches has a dated fake blossom tree that would be perfect. However, if you prioritize quality of food, wine, and ambience, you should consider looking elsewhere. Overall rating: Food - 1, Service - 1, Atmosphere - 1."

"I had my husband's 50th birthday party at this fantastic place on Saturday, and I can't thank the team enough. They were absolutely amazing! The food for our 35 guests was delicious, and the service was excellent. The staff went above and beyond, ensuring we had the best day possible. We were all so pleased and had no complaints whatsoever. I highly recommend this pub and its team for events or simply for a meal! A big thank you for making our day so special; everyone was truly impressed!"

"Absolutely fantastic dining experience, hosted by a wonderful person. Honestly, there are countless reasons to try the food here; nothing on the menu is disappointing. The attention to detail with ingredients is outstanding. For instance, the fish finger sandwich features beautifully made sole goujons that are tender and pan-roasted, all served on fresh grain bread. They also have an excellent selection of ice cream and are fully licensed to serve alcohol. The entire atmosphere is delightful. There are only a few tables, so you'll feel lucky if you manage to get a seat. If not, you can always order takeout and enjoy your meal on the beach, which is a great option since there are plenty of spots available. I often take some home for later, and it's always lovely!"

"A superb dining experience, from the moment we stepped through the door. The staff were attentive but not over attentive. The orders were taken swiftly and promptly without delay. The food once it arrived was superb, the pork belly was cooked to perfection and could be cut without a knife. The atmosphere only added to the dining experience with just the right level of noise in the restaurant, I would definitely recommend Edward Moons to anyone that visits Stratford upon Avon Parking: There are plenty of car parks that are open 24/7 within walking distance of the restaurant"

"We ate here on the first night of our holiday and so glad we did. We ate early (6.45pm) and it filled up quite quickly after 7pm. The range of tapas options was great, with different food styles and flavours from around the world. We ordered 6 dishes, no bread, with the intention of having dessert, but we were too full. Never mind what we had was delicious! The wine by the glass was also very good. £80 total, including tip."

"Food was good and staff were excellent, I would ignore the below review as I’m sure this was the couple sat on the table next to us, if so they complained after they’d eaten pretty much all of their food and declined a replacement meal and a free drink, complained that an espresso martini didn’t come within 30 seconds of ordering it, they then proceeded to be rude to the staff members and the young manager there, who dealt with them very well, I got the impression this definitely wasn’t their first time complaining to try get a free meal, seems like others had the same impression from their trip advisor reviews"

"Although the queues outside have always tested the most calmest of people at the best of times, and their prices for tea/coffee in a paper cup haven 't decreased either. I haven 't been inside the cafe since before Covid hit and I can 't say I will go there again. We arrived last Saturday and there was quite a queue for the window outside, this was because the Morris Dancers were performing. We decided to go inside, we ordered our tea and a teacake each. After 40 minutes I asked where the tea was and was told it was on its way! The young girl behind the counter then started thumbing through all the order receipts to find our order. I reminded her that we had also asked for a toasted teacake each. Another 10 minutes and the tea arrived, except I had been given normal tea and not the green tea that I had ordered. The teacake took a little longer. This cafe now seems to be run by very young teenagers. It was a freezing cold day and the reason we went inside is because I couldn 't see any of the heaters switched on outside. It didn 't make much difference as there was no heating on inside either. When I questioned why there was no heating on it was because the window to the outside kiosk was open and the heat would be lost! Perhaps close the door to the outside kiosk so the heat isn 't lost! The Morris Dancer event had been well published so why the owners didn 't put on extra staff to cope, I 'll never know. We asked about the soup, an impressive large soup menu, all priced at £5.95, I asked about the ingredients in the soup to be told that all the soup came in cans! Really, £5.95 for a bowl of soup from a can! The prices at this cafe are way above average but they are providing an extremely below average service and need to put experienced catering/waiting staff to provide the level of service that people expect or lower the prices so that people don 't expect too much."

"over an hour wait for food, even though it was pre booked. 20 minute wait for drinks (we actually got forgot about it transpires) and our table wasn’t cleared of a single glass or plate while we sat there at a place that considers itself upmarket. Tried to bill us for food for one of our party that got held up at work and couldnt make it although this was not mentioned when we actually booked it. The bar staff seemed more content to stand about chatting (group of four talking for at least 10 minutes while we waited for only our second drink) and then had the audacity to add a 10% service charge on the bill at the end which was rejected (seriously? This isnt America food industry; You have to pay your staff an hourly rate by law) while we waited, you guessed it, for roughly half an hour just to pay the bill. Wont be back, wish id never gone. "Absolutely fantastic food, with great attention to flavour and texture that was completely unexpected. Not tonnes of options as a vegetarian, but what I had (cheese souffle, mushroom soup) was *absolutely* delicious and I would order the exact same again. Incredible desserts, wonderful service, and the best (rhubarb) negroni I've had. Truly a joy! Would go back in a heartbeat. Vegetarian options: 2 3 vegetarian dishes per starter and main. I preferred the starter options so had a couple of those as my main instead and did not regret it!"
"we have eaten in the clubhouse all the time serve and always enjoyed it. it was our high-time anniversary, so we thought we were going to the “thanks clubhouse it Friday “ deal 3 courses with a glass wein for two. £55 when we arrive, we got a great welcome and shown on our table. the menus came, but no Friday menu. We waited a few minutes and had to ask for the Friday Deal menu. we heard that neighboring tables ask for the Friday menu. not surprising, as the main menu has become quite expensive. we felt that the staff was more than a bit involuntary to offer the right menu. When it arrived, we were surprised that the normal 3 choice per. the curs had been reduced to only 2 per course. the review of the clubhouse website, as I write, still shows 3 choices per curs. disappointment when we look forward to the muscheln as a coup d’état. we have asked to jump from the set menu, but was said “ that is not hoe it works “ the set menu choice we are all more expensive than the mush £11 chowder £13 and salat £12. we ordered our eating and enjoyed our stater and net. the desert was openly poor. when we asked about our bill, we were surprised to see £107. in that we had been charged for desert 2x£8.50, although it is included in the Friday deal. bs k came the bill. narrower inspection shower we had been charged for all our drinks, even if the Friday deal contained a glass wein. the bill went back to remove more £15. zip bill £77. there was no tipp that poor show clubhouse gave. if they put a deal on respect and hug him or don't do it"

"Stayed near The Bean Inn and went for dinner on a saturday evening. Anything on the menu can be made vegan easily and the waitress completely understood about being vegan so we were in safe hands. We had 3 courses, I had a salad to start that they swapped vegan cheese for which was lush, then a veg stew with dumplings and the best bit, a cornish teacake bread and butter pudding with custard, amazing! Very reasonably priced, relaxed atmos and great service, would definitely come again."

"I was a few times, but this last time was the worst sad. this time was not overseen with the food or service. onenofnthebserving employees did not seem much to know what they sold. simply rectified. fondant potatoes were bone dry. other parts of the meal were nice enough. some repetitions on the same as the amuse bouche, which was a candy. nice, but not dared. they could really do with losing the carpet in the main room. it adds the “Eating in someone’s sitting room” vibe and tbh the additional noise volume that would probably create it would be welcome as it can be a bit clogged in it."

"Fresh, seasonal food in a relaxed, rustic setting. But we were left underwhelmed by the experience For evening bookings, the only offering is a set tasting menu, consisting of local produce. These dishes are good quality but a little uninspired and are neither bursting with flavour or wildly adventurous. The ingredients are generally humble and inexpensive and there is little experimentation as implied by a tasting menu. This puts it at odds with the pricing which won't leave you with any change from per person, assuming you stick to the essentials The atmosphere has clearly suffered as a result of dining restrictions, imposed on the restaurant, which removes the communal dining feel. And whilst it's not pretentious, the food and drink does not do enough to elevate it to a level worthy of the price tag If value doesn't factor into your decision making, you'll most likely have an enjoyable time here. But if you are visiting for a special occasion or rare treat, you might leave disappointed."

"Exquisite! Exceptional! You will leave with your belly six courses heavier (and your purse sixty five quid lighter but you will be content with both counts. Every course is well thought out and pulled together into a blend that seems more set for an artist 's palette than the plate because surely it can 't taste as good as it looks? But tasty it is, and by the end of the evening, you will agree that six was just about the magic number of courses (unless you fancy adding the cheese we did in which case seven is heaven... It 's not cheap, but you certainly don 't feel swindled, as every ingredient is unequivocally fresh. We suggest that LDV must have a hidden garden behind the restaurant that is fully stocked with ripe fennel, pumpkins, porcini mushrooms, microherbs, macroherbs, and megaherbs (the final two may be made up . Service is friendly, familial, and altogether Italian. Delicious food with lovely hosting, and the vegetarian option is a beast of its own that is worth coming back for there 's no 'just take away the meat ' here it is clearly a carefully considered menu, and many of the veggie dishes compete with (or beat! the meaty versions. Prices on the wine list are also surprisingly reasonable. Recommended! And recommended again!"

"What a beautiful experience! My family and I visited this restaurant for lunch, including my elderly grandfather who needed some extra assistance getting in and out of the place. The staff went above and beyond to help us without any annoyance. The food was incredible, but it was the exceptional service that truly stood out. The staff were incredibly polite and friendly, making us feel truly special. To top it off, they even surprised us with a complimentary dessert and sang happy birthday to my grandma, who was celebrating her special day. It was a sweet and much appreciated gesture. Thank you for a wonderful meal!"

"When we arrived, we tried to make a reservation but couldn't get through by phone. Fortunately, there was no problem getting a table as it was surprisingly quiet for a Friday night. We ordered four venison dishes and two duck dishes, which soon arrived. Unfortunately, all of the venison meals were cold, including the mashed potatoes. We spoke to our waitress about this, and she assured us she would take care of it. The dishes came back, and as we dug in again, we found they were still lukewarm. The venison itself was tougher than I remembered from my previous visit. I mentioned this to our waitress, and in response, we received some complimentary French fries, which the kids loved and were hot—unlike the mashed potatoes. To her credit, the waitress apologized again and mentioned that to make up for the cold venison and mash, she had arranged free desserts for all of us, which was a nice touch. The desserts were delightful; the ice cream profiteroles were a hit with both the kids and the adults. The meal would have easily earned five stars if the main courses had been hot. It’s disappointing because I truly enjoy the location and the home-cooked quality of the food. I hope my experience was just a fluke, but with the current challenges facing restaurants, it's essential to be consistently at your best. Everyone is feeling the pinch these days, and a negative experience could prevent us from returning."
