Crispy bacon, fresh lettuce, and juicy tomatoes layered on toasted bread with mayo, creating a classic and delicious sandwich.

"Four of us ate here in the restaurant. Starters wild mushrooms in cream/garlic on bread. Mains gammon, braised beef, pork belly and fish and chips. Desserts apple and rhubarb crumble. The service was excellent and food hot and tasty. Excellent portions and well priced. Only one suggestion the crumble top needed cooking/browning more. it was pale and tasted floury. Also be nice to have some background music as only a couple of tables occupied."

"Called in after a local hike and was very impressed with the food. The vegan red tai pie was absolutely delicious with chips and a lovely selection off fresh veg. The rest of my party were equally impressed with the steak and ale pie (fabulous pastry) and salmon (perfectly cooked). Pleasant friendly service, will definitely be back! Vegetarian options: Good choice, fresh veg, home cooked chips and great pie options Price per person: £20–30"

"This cafe located by the beach is a wonderful hidden gem. My family and I had lunch here and were impressed by the wide variety of freshly prepared, tasty dishes. The toasties, wraps, and mackerel sandwich were all delicious. The coffee was great and they also had a nice selection of teas. Overall, a fantastic dining experience. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: £1-10."

"Visiting our son in Yeovil and he booked Sunday lunch at The Gaggle for 4 of us. Probably the best pub grub we 've had for a long, long time. Son and daughter-in-law had the sharing platter, which gave pork, beef AND chicken whist my wife and I had the duo meal (pork and beef) Portions were generous, food was very well cooked (beef was perfectly pink, pork belly beautifully cooked with proper crackling attached). Honestly could not fault it!"

"Picnic is a hidden gem of a restaurant. The staff were welcoming and efficient, assisting us with our choices and providing helpful information. The vegan food was exceptional, the freshest, best-cooked, and most delicious I have had in the UK. The wine was also excellent and reasonably priced. We enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere and casual style of the restaurant. Despite living in Shropshire and Birmingham, we will definitely be returning to Picnic."

"After searching for a place for lunch with gluten and dairy free options, we found the Lemon Tree as a place to go on our first trip to Penrith. We met up with a friend for coffee/tea there, and decided to go back for lunch. The staff were very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable on their allergens, even pointing out that the tartare sauce had cream in after it was ordered. Two of us had the steak, vegetables and fried potatoes, and one had the sea-bass, vegetables and boiled potatoes, all off the specials menus for the day. It was nice to have a choice of mains for the gluten and dairy free, and the food was all freshly cooked and hot. The gluten and dairy free orange and almond cake was home made and delicious, as was the home made fruit bread and butter (this could also have been gluten free as an option). For drinks, the home made lemonade was amazing, as was the oat milk latte, and the tea was a generous pot of strong brew with separate water served. We would very happily go back there again any time we are in Penrith."

"I went to this restaurant with some friends for dinner. We all liked the food and found the prices to be reasonable. My only complaint is that I wished there was more custard with my crumble, as the half-full jug was not enough. The staff were friendly and the service was good, but I had mentioned my disability when booking online and was disappointed to find our table was down steps and far from the entrance and toilets. Additionally, there was no designated disabled parking space, which made it challenging for me as the car park was full. Because of these factors, I likely won't be returning to this restaurant."

"Such a stunning little shop, was surprised by how I had walked past a few times and not noticed what I may have been missing. Produce is wonderful, lots of local veggies, dairy, fresh food and cooked food ready to eat. Lots of zero waste options, pretty much everything I needed. Got some great Cornish butter, hadn't found local dairy much in Manchester so that was great. The staff are really lovely and more than happy to help. I'll definitely be back, thank you!"

"We have been here quite a few times recently and cannot fault the food or service. Plenty of choice and food is always tasty and presented well. The staff are always friendly and accommodating with nothing being too much trouble. Particularly noted as we have gluten free requirements and often bring our dog in who always gets fussed over and given a treat or two! Definitely recommend this friendly pub for a meal or two."

"We found Delphine's on our way to the beach. It is a fantastic little island of kitsch 1950's Americana is what is otherwise a very lovely, but one note, high street (think Waitrose By The Sea). I had my very very food fussy 12 year old daughter, Paddy, a well behaved Labradoodle and my daughter's sugar loving friend with me. My daughter asked for a special order, (burger with plain bun, and chips, no relish, no salad) which the lovely man cooking and even lovelier waitress made it very clear was not a problem. When we arrived, there was only a two seater in the corner available, and, as there were three of us, I asked if we could move to a bigger table if one became available. That was also not a problem and as soon as a bigger table was free, they prioritised cleaning it up, and we moved. Some of the fresh ingredients needed for the milkshakes on the menu hadn't been delivered that morning, but we had that explained before we ordered. My daughter's friend ordered an Oreo Milkshake which was bigger than she was. She finished it. We all had different burgers and they were all absolutely delicious. When we go back to Aldeburgh, we will be heading there again!"

"This marvellous community run free house is the model other aspiring would be village buy outs ought to take note of. In addition to the swift turnaround of the hand pulled beers we ale drinkers have the opportunity to sample a wide range from all over . To my surprise and delight this pub usually has a dark mild stout etc every few weeks unlike most of the other pubs I visit. There is seating out front and in the rear beer garden that leads onto open fields which was the site of their recent beer festival attended by a local Asian street food vendor and various musicians playing throughout the long weekend. The interior is just one large room so not the venue for a private or discreet meeting! Due to the proximity of Harlton to the city of Cambridge the Horse Hounds clientele has a happy mix of academics, professionals and the farming community. Sundays is Quiz Night which you can now avoid or join in depending! Meals are served but I cannot comment as I have yet to eat at this pub. Friendly , attentive and helpful staff This pub is definitely worts visit"

"Came here to celebrate my birthday whilst camping nearby. We ate outside in the Garden Tent which had a lovely ambience, and plenty of outdoor heaters didn 't need to be in doors! the food was lovely steak tender and well cooked. Some of our party had fish was was amazing, and the starter of Confit Duck was fab. Staff were friendly, polite and attentive, and were very apologetic for a couple of minor issues that arose with the ordering system but they corrected the mistakes quickly and apologised what more can you ask for! I would definatley be back."

"Having grown up in the North East of England and been aware of the Tyneside Cinema as a kind of retro place where film buffs would to go to watch cult movies in the 80s and 90s, I was most interested to see it on Happy Cow. Only a few years ago the cinema was very close to extinction. Now, it's a thriving heartbeat of a place where people who would like to think they are cool want to be seen. We thought we'd give it a go. On Saturday 8th October 2016 it was absolutely bustling. This is good to see. There was even a baby shower in progress and staff were obviously busy. The beer and wine are clearly vegan labelled as well as the food. Unfortunately, on a Saturday the only vegan choice was a chargrilled vegetable ciabatta with coriander hummus. We shared this with fries. More vegan options are available during the week. Not somewhere I would rush to go back to for food but the Tyneside Cinema is an important part of city heritage and it's good to see it doing well and here to stay for the longterm."

"I used to visit this cafe regularly and used to enjoy generous slices of cake and coffee with friends and it was a regular haunt and a delight. Sought it out today after a long gap as back in the area and couldn’t believe how expensive it was. I realise cafes are struggling but people still want some value for money. Three small slices of cake easily half the slice size I recall at least, one muffin (dry) with three small teacup sized lattes and a tea £29.90. It’s a shame because we won’t go back again. I understand everyone is struggling but this is not value for money in any way. I see other comments relating to cost too and I’m not surprised."

"Love it here! Have visited a few times now and have never been disappointed. Traditional old pub with a great atmosphere. This time I had the chicken, bacon avocado baguette and my friend had chilli chips. Both were amazing and the portions were very generous! The staff are really friendly and made us feel welcome. We will definitely be back and would definitely recommend to others. Thank you Sophie, Dave and the team :"

"Bon Gusto is a small Italian restaurant near Buckingham Palace. The food is elegant and served with Italian verve. Our waitress was so much fun to be around and very helpful in recommending selections on the menu. My husband had lasagna, which he said was excellent. I had spinach and ricotta cheese stuffed ravioli in a tomato cream sauce with pine nuts. It was also very good. I recommend Bon Gusto to anyone wanting good Italian food."

"Absolutely love the beech house. The atmosphere is great, it's always busy and it really is what Hampton Hill needs! A bar that's open to a reasonable hour and is a bit trendy (and hopefully won't close down like it's predecessors! . It has a blackboard with the latest Hampton Hill Theatre shows lined up, lovely staff. Came for breakfast, the menu between 11 and 12 is odd as you're given the main menu but you can't order from it, only the first page brunch. But that's fine as we wanted brunch breakfast. I'm still giving it five stars. As said the atmosphere is great and I want to recommend and it's one of my favourite places. However I've now come for pizza and breakfast and considering it is that bit more expensive (a few quid more than you'd want to spend, but wouldn't mind if delicious however the food is always a little mediocre for the price point. I couldn't quite put my finger on it but it just tasted a little, disappointing (for the price ."
