"I met up with two friends at the restaurant and had a wonderful time catching up over food and drinks. Everything surpassed our expectations. "I went to the restaurant for the second time, hoping for another great experience since the first visit was excellent. Unfortunately, this time it was extremely loud, making it hard to have a conversation at the table. There were noticeably many children due to the school holidays, but even the adults were quite noisy, which made the atmosphere uncomfortable and restless. No staff members addressed the loud families; perhaps they were too familiar with them, but the manager certainly should have stepped in. I’m hesitant to return after this experience—it was very disappointing."

"we went on a Sunday for a fast meal as we were busy all day, so we could be one and out for a fast meal. it took some time until the meal arrived. both meals were not properly cooked. the waitress was new and fought (not a problem normally) and did not check whether our meal was in order, what I thought was one of the first things to be taught. we heard the kitchen had to fight. we had a problem to win the attention of everyone and had to wait until the end of the meal when we were willing to say something about the quality of the meal. the person responsible, due to the difficulties, drew a fee from the bill, but I would rather have had a good quality meal and experience. because of the delays we were too late for a date."

"The restaurant's reservation system is disappointing. Despite booking weeks in advance through opentable, we arrived to find out that the system was not working properly, resulting in us not having a table and being seated in the main bar area. Although a table was eventually found for us and the staff was apologetic, we were seated in the middle of a loud football game, ruining our dining experience. It took a long time for the staff to take our order, and there were issues with food orders going back and forth from the kitchen. Despite these challenges, the food was delicious once it arrived. The staff were clearly overwhelmed and did their best to accommodate us. The restaurant's reservation system needs to be fixed promptly, and employees should be trained in food safety and hygiene practices. Overall, the food was great and the staff were friendly, but improvements are necessary in the ordering and delivery process."

"We ordered the two-course meal for £13.99 each and two refillable drinks. When I placed my order, I was told that the dessert my husband wanted was unavailable, but the server offered him apple and custard instead, which I thought was fine. However, when the bill came, it was £46.35. I questioned it, and the second bill was adjusted to £42.36, but I still had concerns. A third bill was provided, showing a total of £34.88. We had a £20 gift card, so I paid the remaining £14.88. Overall, we left the pub feeling very dissatisfied."

"dear the harvesting machine, it was a special lunch for me and my daughter despite the booking. we waited 20 minutes to be served, then 40 minutes later finally got our food. the waitress was nice, but there was a problem in the kitchen. we could not end our meal as my other daughters gather and not get worth, because could not use the two price offer so that no pudding ate a few mouthfuls. I would have expected at least a good certificate or a deprivation as it really pampered our lunch"

"We visited on Saturday for the time in nearly years. We got there around and it was very quite. Was impressed that its all table service and was seated immediately. Drinks orders took then they took our meal order. My husband decided...on the ribeye steak only to be told sorry we dont have any. Okay he said he would try the steak sandwich. The salad bar was lovely and you was served by staff which was good. The pasta was lovely. My husband who is diabetic got alerted his sugar was going low we tried to get someones attention but she walked past smiled and ignored us so he had to go to the bar for a sugary drink. Then our mains came my bbq chicken had only the smallest amount of bbq sauce and had black bits on the bottom. My husband who really needed to eat took bite of his steak sandwich and couldn't even chew it was that burnt. There was a lady at the table next to us who was also complaining about her steak sandwich. My husband said he didn't want another so they took his plate away and he had to share my chips as he needed to stablize his sugar levels with food. They knocked his meal off the bill but nothing else just got told they had looked and the quality of the meat was bad no mention to the fact it completly burnt. Was not happy after staying away for so long."

"I ordered salmon they didn’t have any so I made a snap decision to have fish cakes because they supposedly were salmon ones but you had to look hard to find the small pieces of salmon in them. So I had a jacket potato mostly mashed potato in the fish cakes which to my mind were over cooked with a small pot of peas, not what I would call a very appetising lunch."

"This is a reasonably local pub/restaurant with good parking m husband and i went to celebrate my 60th. It was busier than expected and is a family venue. We had pre booked that day and there was little waiting around it was clean, and table service due to the restrictions and social distancing. The food was plentiful and good quality and yes the salad bar is still available you just go and choose what you would like and it is served up and carried to your table. A good experience the only thing i personally found where i was uncomfortable and could possibly be a bit safer was the toilet facilities yes they were clean but there was no disinfectant /wipes to wipe the toilet seat, handle and taps before or after use and i felt that should have been an option in these times. (just me??"

"Eat once a month with a group of friends (usually booked by someone else). Your booking system is awful. I tried to phone (as I manageds once before) and got into your automated systme. I had to book online not easy. I then wished to change the number of people impossible as it is not clear how I do this and when I clicked on modify your booking box, the page appeared as unavailable. As usual the staff were lovely. There are still no hooks for handbags in the ladies toiulets; I have commented on the lack before as a health hazard."
