"The atmosphere in the restaurant was hot and uncomfortable, lacking fresh air and air conditioning. We waited over twenty minutes before anyone came to take our order. Incredibly, our appetizers arrived before our drinks. We requested tap water but never received it. We asked for sparkling water and were still left waiting, and only after that did our wine finally arrive. Unfortunately, the wine we ordered wasn’t available, and we received a substitute, but we had to ask for glasses to drink it from. For the main course, the child's steak was completely overcooked and inedible, so we had to send it back. After some time, we did receive two glasses for our wine, but we had to ask for additional ones. When they finally arrived, the server informed us that they only had two wine glasses available and offered us gin glasses instead. The salad bar was a mess, with many items either empty or disorganized. When the bill came, there were several mistakes, yet we were still asked to leave a tip. Given the terrible experience we had, we simply couldn’t leave one. We have been loyal customers of this Harvester (George Inn, Morden) since it opened over 40 years ago, but the service has steadily declined. It really needs to get back to basics, properly train its staff, and hopefully return to the standard it once upheld."

Had a lovely lunch there. Salad was super fresh and delicious and food great. Service was excellent. Lady who took our order was super friendly. Would recommend.

The food was great, sweet, and enjoyable. However, the restaurant didn't have air conditioning, which was a bit uncomfortable. Our waiter, Connor, was fantastic—really friendly and added to the pleasant experience.

We came in as a party of 5 and were seated at a ‘nice table’ (as told to us) beside a very large and loud birthday party we could not talk between us as we could not hear each other despite numerous tables downstairs being free. View menu

The service was quite slow, and I had to go to the bar to get drinks. The bartender seemed more focused on his phone than on serving customers. The food was lukewarm, and the salad offered was scant. The waitress did apologize for the delays.

Waited ages to order. Then plates and cups everywhere so drinks were being spilt because table was full, steak was as dry as a bone and full of fat so didn’t eat it steak was £17.99 only took £7 off meal and I didn’t eat any of it. Kids meals were horrible.
