"Not massively impressed, my partner ordered additional items to his meal (which cost extra) which he didn’t receive, my meal unfortunately came out mostly cold so I ate half of it and left the remaining. For 2 meals and 2 drinks which came to over £50 I was very unsatisfied. I don’t like to complain as the staff may have been up against it and the fact it was raining may possibly have meant they waited to bring the food out which meant that’s why it was a bit cold? The staff themselves were lovely so couldn’t fault them but sadly we hoped for better and to receive what had been paid for. "I ordered sausages, regular chips, and Irish curry sauce. The portion of chips was generous, and the sauce containers are large enough for sharing. They did a fantastic job! It would be wonderful if the options were fully vegetarian, but it seems that fish is much more popular, unfortunately. They sell water in cans to reduce plastic waste, and they are also happy to refill water bottles. They even offer snacks and drinks for dogs. The prices for dining indoors are significantly higher, so we chose to sit outside, which was lovely. The interior looked beautiful, but we opted to enjoy the fresh air despite the pouring rain. Overall, it was a very positive experience."

The only let down was the, condition of the premises, some places need a good clean we sat in the conservatory the window we're dirty looking out and window seals need a wipe and floor needs a good mop bits of food left on the floor from yesterday But however nice view of the river Avon"

"Considering I was initially looking forward to my experience here, I was disappointed with both the quality of the food and the service me and my party were provided.After ordering drinks, my group of friends shared a starter of Nachos which was essentially tortilla chips served with cheap salsa and guacamole.For the all important mains and signature burgers, I ordered the classic ‘Smoker’, however, the only thing left smoking was the hole in my wallet.The bun was as dry as the Sahara, and although the quality of the burger was satisfactory, I was left wondering on how downhill the standard has fallen since previous ownership.Overall, an unsatisfactory meal for an inflated cost."

"Good value for money, on the whole it's good food but not outstanding. We went as a party of four on a Friday night and it was very busy, definitely glad we booked a table as people were being turned away. I liked the decor, the curtain across the front door was a really nice touch to keep out the cold draft, especially as we were sat right near the door. The beers/ales are only available in 330ml (one was 2/3 pint I think) which was disappointing, pretty expensive too upwards of £4.50 each. I had the house cheese burger, which unfortunately tasted burnt. The two sides I had were the spicy rice and chilli cheese fries. The former is quite small, but tasty. The latter is quite large, easily sharable and really tasty too. I'm told the Mac and cheese was very good too, but very small. I was looking forward to a dessert, but again unfortunately they had ran out of ice cream, so no milk shakes and only two dessert options that we didn't fancy (pies that I don't recall the name of). It's located in the centre of Birmingham, super close to the train station (new street), only 2min walk tops."

"As first-time visitors, we were impressed by the relaxed and cozy atmosphere of this restaurant. The venue is larger than it appears from the outside, with a charming dining room in the rear that features a cozy fireplace for colder days. I ordered a jacket potato with crunchy coleslaw, roasted vegetables, and blue cheese, and I was pleasantly surprised by how well it was cooked and presented. I paired my meal with a glass of merlot and thoroughly enjoyed the entire experience. This restaurant truly delivers value for money, and I highly recommend it to others."

"So I just want to give an honest review. The location, decor, and staff were amazing. Really friendly and helpful. But the most important part, why we were there, was for the roast on a Sunday. I can truly say one of the worst roasts we've had. I know they had problems with the fridge, but it was a dry chicken breast on a bed of bland cabbage, with, what I think, was mashed carrot and swede, and roast potatos, that were not crispy or fresh tasting and bisto gravy. If I were the chef, I would have been embarrassed serving that. Now I should have realised, as we were the only reservation that Sunday and was very quiet in the pub compared to a very busy Salisbury. We didn't say anything at the time, because really, how could they improve it if they were happy to serve it? Other than not paying for it, it wouldn't have improved. So if you want a drink in a great bar with great staff, definitely visit, but if you want a Sunday roast please visit somewhere else."

"Well I think the place has got worse, and don't dare complain with a dragon jobs worth as the manager role( apparently the owner )how thats happened i dont know maybe a hobby for her retirement as unable to deal with customer maybe consider a course for both you and the staff, which consisted of unintrested serving staff the food ain't bad once you get through this: 1.Left standing to be seated while 1 staff member runs roundand 4 others have a chat. 2.had to call server over for drinks order, food order and for the table opposite that required serving repeatedly 3.tables not cleaned 4. Floor not cleaned 5.Toilets unsanitary not cleaned, refreshed, broken toilet seat (unusable)2nd toilet blocked also unusable. 5. Staff need training act like their at a social event. 6.manager/owner/jobs worth rude, aggressive can't take criticism even when showed the disgusting toilets refused to believe her establishment was awful. Spoke to myself like 1 of her under 25yr old staff. 7.cleaning cupboard left open to the public but obviously not used 8.greated by unhappy customers who were disgusted Health and hygiene will be contacted the measure of the place was not fit for purpose and is need of overhaul. Is this place a business or joke I can't see a business here more of a hobby"

"I went to Red Dog for a late breakfast. The food was good and the staff were friendly. The service was excellent. I dined in and the meal type was breakfast. The price per person was between £10-£20. I would rate the food, service, and atmosphere a 5 out of 5."

"We had a family meal here while out for a walk. Food came in a reasonable time and a decent size and price. Sometimes had difficulty catching the eye of staff. Draught beer and cider includes Stowford Press, Neck Oil and Proper Job which went down well. I had a halloumi burger which had a lovely amount of halloumi and it wasn't chewy but soft, great mix with pesto and peppers. Husband had steak and kidney suet pudding which was a favourite and the rest of the table had scampi (great big fat chips that were crispy and soft inside) and then mackerel pate and prawn cocktail (starters so they could justify dessert). The st Clements cheesecake was full of citrus but no orange and very creamy, otherwise didn't pack much flavour Toilets clean and well looked after"

"Food was chronic, even the coffee and lemonade was not nice. Filled croissants are supposed to be cooked not these they was filled with cheese and dry. Chips overcooked frozen disgusting things that tasted like they was cooked in old oil and cooked that much there was no filling left in the potatoes. Messed up money and no one was about when we wanted bill. Another couple were in at the same time and they was also complaining about how bad the food was."

"I just came for the Mac and Cheese pizza. It didn't disappoint. The base was slightly undercooked however, but it was still tasty. I also ordered dough balls which at first bite I wasn't too sure about. There was cheese vegan I think in the middle that I wasn't use to but after a few more bites I was hooked. They were yummy hot or cold. There was seating inside and outside and there was enough space for multiple parties. I ordered for take away and was given a discount for this, I'm not sure how much of a discount I was given but I was pleased none the less. While I was waiting for my order, I over heard a party a few meters away from me rave about their corn dogs vegan probably . I will try that next time."

"The restaurant inside and outside is quite stunning but sadly the experience of dining here is a huge let down. Apart from being grossly over priced the quality of customer care and service was quite poor. There is no flexibility with choice and the food is on par with your average high street Turkish Restaurant. Meat and salad. All side orders were extra over double what they should be. We had plans to take the extended family for a new year meal in January but we've rescheduled to another local restaurant where we know we'll get good value for a meal."

"a group of 6 of us came yesterday after a climax walk to the breakfast, fortunately we found a table because it was quite limited when they were sitting outside. I had the great vegetarian breakfast, which was especially delicious veggie. also the big latte that was in the did a great cup! was not as strong as I hoped, but given the volume I can forgive. no complicate from the rest of my friends who had a mix of meat and vegan breakfast. it was a bit expensive £9 for the big plate, but eating was nice enough. 2 female employees worked very friendly and courteous they helped my friend ice cube and towel for her knuckles. overall a beautiful vibe caffe."

"Booked for dinner in the Inn at 6pm on Saturday with the hope of going next door to bar after for drinks. It was very busy. The staff were nice. We had 5 and the table was a bit small but when a group didn't show up, they moved us to a bigger table which was perfect. The food was lovely and they had 2 for £10 cocktails. £140 for 5 mains and a cocktail each so good value. Unfortunately we weren't able to stay for out night out as the bar was too busy. Nearby activities: Close to the promenade and in walking distance of shops and other bars and clubs Food drinks: Reasonably priced. I had the chicken katsu curry which was really tasty. Everyone in the group enjoyed their meal. The cocktails were small but 2 for £10 so good value Noteworthy details: Very busy. Book and plan ahead"

"Before I decided to leave this review, I contacted bills customer services to highlight my experience in this restaurant. unfortunately bills didn't react. I visited this two g of bills in the august and was denied the "good time offer" as they were too busy!. however. the most appalling and worrying observation was a party of guests who arrived at the restaurant and a table asked and told by the staff that the restaurant was closed. I could hear that the party was treated very differently than other guests, and so I went online to book a table for and offered a table st I asked bills to see the cctw of the restaurant to confirm what I observed and they were not a bit interested."

"First time in Porthleven so our first visit the the Ship that's been recommended to us by friends who have been visiting for years and we weren't disappointed! Staff are great and make you feel really welcome and are up for anything to make sure you have a good time. We were on a stag night and the manager felt we weren't making enough noise so he got us onto shots and then our other halves arrived on their hen night and the evening just got better and better! Brilliant.."

"Don't miss the chilli cheese fries. The Butcher's Tap Grill is great. There is a cool, trendy, older, laid back, slightly hipster vibe to the Butcher's Tap, Tom Kerridge's latest addition to his stable of eateries in Marlow. As an eaterie the Butcher's Tap's seating is not glamorous, it is tight and cosy. The staff are, without fault, always friendly and helpful. Food wise we rate their buttermilk chicken burger as probably the most delicious chicken burger we have ever enjoyed and amongst the best of any sort of burger. It is something to be enjoyed without hesitation. The chilli cheese fries are similarly not to be missed. So far, the food has been excellent. If dining with multiple friends for sure get a table but for parties of 2 or fewer we suggest eating at the bar. Might just be our experience but we have met and talked with some truly fabulous and memorable patrons."

"We had a day out in Tiintagel on Sunday and decided to walk to the Castle and Merlin's cave on the beach. When we walked back up the killer hill we were starving and decided to pop to King Arthur's Arms Inn for a Sunday Roast. The choices were Pork or beef, both I'm not keen on so opted for the Veggie options. The nut roast was light and tasty and the beef looked lean. Both of us had roast potatoes and vegetables plus the delicious Yorkshire pudding. Lots of gravy was offered to us. The food was excellent for the price. It's not high brow, but just a pub grub lunch. It filled us up and that was the idea. I only gave 4 stars as no one wore a mask but there were many people in the pub. I felt as though I was put in a vulnerable position. We ate and left as soon as we could."

"Ribeye steak was absolutely gorgeous had mac'n'cheese and creamy leeks and bacon. Couldnt fault the main course. For dessert the menu said it was: a warm waffle with chocolate ice cream and sauce, this was not the best because the Waffle was very hard, it was more like a waffle pastry case with vanilla ice cream with a drizzle of chocolate sauce , with a shard of dark chocolate (didn't like this at all). It also was a sprinkled with sugar and cinnamon, so certainly not the best, and I wouldn't order this again. Also the restaurant was cold"
