"we have eaten here before and the food was pleasant enough and last night we were here with 2 friends, we ordered, whistle, and tempoura garnel, followed by makrele with a “bbq” sauce, dover sole and mönchsfisch with a “seedy” sauce. where should I start? it was quite wrong with some of the courts. the garnels were nice, the muscheln were ok, but the sauce was not great, but that was ok. When it came to the net, our chips were forgotten and therefore came a bit late - even that would have been in order, but the makrele dish was not good, the “bbq” sauce tasted strongly from orange! our friend likes zitrus really and since this was not mentioned on the menu the makrele was also very dry. I had the mönchsfisch satay and expected a spicy erdnus sauce, instead the fish was covered with lime leaf, which I strongly dissimilar - not mentioned on the menu again and the satay sauce was insipid. the Dover sole was very good. we were asked if we enjoyed the meal and so polite feedback was offered that these aromen were mentioned on the menu, as they were the dominant aromen of the feeds. the owner continued to argue with us - she was exceptionally rude and told me I obviously don't like strong aromes! she also asked me to ask if I ate the court! she continued to argue very rude and told us that it was obviously not for us (the restaurant). that's true! we have eaten in many restaurants of all standards and have never been treated like this! our evening was completely ruined - not because of the food, but because of the rudeness of the owner. we paid the bill and left. our friends have eaten a lot in the past, but unnecessary to say, none of us will go again."

"beautiful decoration with very helpful and friendly staff! serve and wait the employee are inviting, editorial and try to answer questions they have via menu points or furnishings. I liked the description of her wall painting, inspired by a place in Colombia, and that it took 3 weeks to paint. beautiful recommendation about their beer selection, quilmes is an Argentineian camp that is easy, crisp and a little sharp. I had recommended as my starter (what means to wrap myself, I had happy to ask about this dish and enjoy the two choices, served with salat this camp compliment the aromen very good and the baked was as fluffy as filo. if they feel adventurous, it was worth trying: their portions are generous, in advance I recommend asking about you caught beer is peroni and comes in half pint or pint. her selection on the side comes in very beautiful medium-sized dishes. Twist rings are tasty and their thin frits are not as fryed, but are also tasty accompanied with chimichurri sauce! our group had a selection of meat dishes (ribeye, filet steaks and lamb frame and was cooked to perfection. I tried a bit the lamb had offered a family member, and it was tender, juicy and well spiced. overall, a great facility with comfortable seating furniture made of soft leather and music volume was well balanced, which was added to the ambiente. amazing personal. if this helps: the float coffee is an irish coffee without whisky. chimichurri was declared a combination of garlic, petersilie, olive oil and chili. green beans are with sun-dried tomatoes. green spinach is fresh. toilets are on the back to the left. many thanks to el toro. happy christmas and new year!"

"The entertainment was great and enjoyable. The host was hilarious. Unfortunately, the downfall was the service. Table of 12 for a Christmas night out. We had pre ordered our meals, with dietary requirements passed along via email. Starters came out, had to ask the server twice if it was gluten free and he still tried giving me a meal with bread on it. Eventually, got it correct and that server later apologised. At this point, I flagged a different server down and said that my next two courses (turkey and cheese were also gluten free). Mains came out. Another diner and I were waiting for our meals. Flagged a server down and told her we were waiting for a salmon and a gluten free turkey. Received our meals after the majority of the group had finished their course. Dessert came out... Minus two (me again). None of the servers checked that everyone on the table had plates in front of them, during any of the courses. Straight up asked for the manager, explained that we were still waiting for a cheese and crackers and a gf cheese. She comes back over ten minutes later with a printout (5 puddings, 7 cheeses) saying her staff had counted 7 cheeses had been brought out. Obviously not since two of us were sitting there without a meal in front of us. Saw that two of the blond waitresses standing by the sound booth had also clocked this. Manager also tried to argue about not knowing about dietary requirements. Double checked with our group organiser who was adamant all dietaries had been passed along via email. Manager comes back another 10 minutes later, saying there had been a miscommunication with the kitchen and no cheese boards left, options were pudding or ice cream. Finally got that half and hour after everyone else had their desserts and all the plates had been cleared. Absolutely appalling service from the manager. She took one bottle of wine off and we withdrew the service charge."

"There was one vegan main course clearly marked on the menu and 5 tapas options, which we sampled all of between us, and each one was absolutely delicious. The tofu on a bed of satay flavoured noodles was amazing, as was the smoked sweet potato dish (two of these together would be generous enough to make up one main meal, but we were hungry so we had 7 between the two of us. Every dish was beautifully presented and imaginatively put together with a delicate balance of flavours, textures and colour. There were a couple of vegan desserts available (including chocolate sorbet but we both opted for the blueberry and pistachio cheesecake... It was honestly the best vegan pudding I've ever had! We ate at an inside table which looked out over the pretty Porthmeor Bay (I think every table, inside or out, has a great sea view. Covid safety measures were carefully put in place to ensure everybody's safety (only one group at each large table and clear entrances and exits. The staff and the chefs were extremely attentive, the music was chilled and the atmosphere very relaxing. For the money, this restaurant punches far above its weight. The app won' t let me give 5 stars but this is most definitely a 5 star eating experience! Reservations were hard to get at the very peak of the season but they do eventually become available- well worth persevering with the online booking system and checking every few minutes until one comes up."
