"leave the al pastor 24h marinated pork. they were really good. the swarm was made with avocado, twill lime and the thinnest slicer of sweet ananas that perfected the balance. we had three and it was the perfect amount. the personal was great and I liked the music choice (sometimes that harassed me) a cocktail that ended everyone well. it is a good place to catch a place on the market. the ribs looked good, I'll try the next time."

"Absolute filth, the place need a deep deep clean. I've worked in hospitality for years and my husband is a chef, it always baffles me when the tables and chairs are dirty. What the kitchen must be like if the staff can't clean a chair. Food wasn't great. Spent £30 and I think I could have got better at a bacon buttie van in a lay-by. And 1 toilet for men and women, how is this ok?? I don't want take my daughter to toilet after a man has had his stinking in there. Cakes looked amazing if this helps, although we didn't buy one and won't return"

"We had seen this cafe before and wanted to give it a try the pastries in the window look amazing! Now, to be fair, we didnt realise it was vegetarian. I had a 'stuffed potato skin ' which looked lovely piled high mash with what looked like cheese on the top. It was 'stuffed ' with .....potato ! That 's it, I couldn 't really taste anything else except a few chives. Husband had vegetable lasagne, which he said was pretty tasteless also. And a cup of tea for him, smallest cappuccino ive ever seen for me over £30 !!!"

"we booked a table for the brunch this morning and I was a little worried that the employees might have been a little, we say, "delicate ', after the celebration of the profit of the carlisle living best restaurant award on Friday night. but I had nothing to fear that eating was great and the staff was amazing our waitress overheard me mentioning that it was my friend birthday weekend, and without us asking, she surprised with ice and the most impressive candle *firework) and the whole experience was simply wonderful and made her day! .two of our group came all the way from newcastle just for the brunch and we're back!"

"Authentic Mexican Food. Cocina Mexicana is perhaps the most authentic Mexican restaurant in Lancaster County, but seems to be the most overlooked. The small restaurant on Prince Street is simple and well kept with no frills, but the food is what has brought me back. Today I made a stop for lunch and had the Mole Verde platter, which was a special on the chalkboard. I've seen it on there before, so I'm assuming it is a fairly regular special. The dish was delicious. My only qualm was the $9.25 price tag was a little high for the entree which didn't boast that big a portion (see photograph). I also had a glass of Agua de Jamaica, one of several unique juices they offer on their menu, which was refreshing and tasty. I have also tried some of their sandwiches and tacos in the past, all being very good and seemed to be a better value for the money. For $2-3 per taco (which is around what one would spend at a mediocre fast food chain), one can sample a variety of kinds such as Lengua (beef tongue), Chorizo (spicy sausage), and Mexicana which features a choice of meat, cactus meat, and avacado. Sandwiches of similar varieties run about $5-6 each. Three types of homemade hot sauces are also provided, and make a great tasting addition to the meals. I have yet to leave Cocina Mexicana disappointed."

"We came for a meal me and my partner and left feeling very disappointed. The view the waiter and the wine was good, but the food on the other hand wasn’t. After receiving a £130 bill you would of expected amazing food and after booking it through the ‘pickled chef’ himself and after seeing he made it on to masterchef I was very shocked at what we actually received not to mention looking at his instagram and he was about to leave lusty glaze we definitely thought he checked out already when we had our meal. He wasn’t what we expected and being a chef I was excited to see what he had to offer! We had the seafood platter that was £80!! For the two of us!! We expected so much seafood.. it came and I think a weather-spoons could have done better . We had about 3 prawns, no scallops on the platter, we had a very small bowl of mussels, there was no seafood on the platter, frozen bagged chips and not even a dressed salad.. we didn’t say anything at first because we didn’t want to spoil our time together but after going to leave I spoke to the manager and he said he would of compensated and did apologise he then came back later on and said he will refund us a little money.. he said it would take 3-4 days to go back into your account!! we never ever received a thing! We won’t ever be returning! One of our favourite beaches in Newquay but will stick to the pizza on the beach next time!"

"Outstanding dinner service. I recently had such a good lunch at Viva Mexico that I took a big party of customers (i'm sales rep) out for dinner at Viva Mexico (in the middle of the Edinburgh Festival August 2010) as I wanted somewhere I knew could provide good value food and service and something a little different on the menu. Despite it being their busiest couple of weeks in the year their service was excellent and the food was exactly as good as it always is. Many of my customers commented that they had a really good time and enjoyed the food immensly. I went back there again with some friends for a birthday party (they had arranged it this time as it was a favourite place for them they knew it was a perfect place for a party, yet with the personal service and intimacy you only achieve in better establishments). I had the stuffed chillies followed by Mole chicken (chilli chocolate sauce) much, much tastier than it sounds! I had read about Margharita madness and have to say after having two parties at the restaurant lately their margaritas rock!! Very good and not too sore a head due I guess to the good quality tequila! The coffee was great too this place does great coffee!!! I heartily recommend this place right down to its authentic decor adding to the ambiance. A fun place for parties or a more quiet and intimate affair upstair or in the front room can be achieved thanks to their clever use of space. 5 review and I will most certainly be visiting again! "I visited the restaurant on a Sunday at noon in early September, having been there a few years ago as well. I enjoy this place for its relaxed atmosphere and the friendly, attentive staff. The menu offers a wide variety of dishes under the broad category of "Japanese fusion." Overall, the food is delicious, though some dishes can be a bit on the sweeter or saltier side. During my last visit, we tried the chicken ramen, miso eggplant, wagyu gyoza, sushi, miso-glazed salmon, soft shell crab tacos, and Korean fried chicken (“KFC”). Everything was very good, and the value for money is excellent. I highly recommend this restaurant!"

"if they are looking for a restaurant in cg, I would like to encourage them to find a non-chain restaurant as they can find wahaca in london and secondly, I personally do not think that eating here is amazing or authentic. cg is filled with amazing unique vegan options and I personally would not waste my time in cg on a chain restaurant. eating in wahaca is super average and definitely doesn't taste like authentic Mexican foods I didn't expect in Europe anyway. this is a chain and as such I tried a few steadfasts and had similar badluster experiences. many vegan options marked clearly on the menu. guac and chips were good. tostada wasn't great. I wouldn't order the mais again. the small bean and rice pack with vegan cheese was great."

"The restaurant had a fantastic atmosphere. We were fortunate to have booked a table on a night when they had live music starting at 9pm, after we had finished our meal. The staff were efficient and friendly, making a fuss over our dog and taking the time to chat with us. There was a good variety of food to choose from - I had sole, my husband had fish goujons, and my daughter had a pizza. We all thoroughly enjoyed our meals. It was a great way to start our holiday. I would definitely recommend this restaurant."
"I can't recommend this place anymore! I have been in the Wahaca chains a few times and have always liked it, but this is the first time that I take off (via deliveroo.) we ordered: 3 species of tacos: steak cheese butter huhmilk battered fish sweet potato feta taquito crispy sweet potato side build her own fish taco from the child menu the presentation was stunning! the recyclable packaging they use is so clever that their tacos arrive in perfect condition as if they simply pass it from their kitchen to their table. everything tasted absolutely delicious and I have no idea how they are able to keep the fish so crispy during the delivery trip! the child build your own' kit was well packed and had a bit of all deconstructed taco, veggy sticks, salat, some tortilla chips and a prise grated cheese. it even came with an a4 picture sheet to color and a small kist of crayons! just like in the restaurant. Actually, I am as surprised how great everything was and I would order definitiw from them again. to round it off, they made 20% of everything on deliveroo and their hygiene rating is 5!"

"if they want large Mexican food in the heart of london, they do not go to chiquito, but to wahaca, they will not be disappointed. it is a very well located restaurant that offers a good value for money. this restaurant has fast service, friendly waiter and very nice decor. the atmosphere is lively, the place is very popular, so I recommend a reservation."

"This restaurant offers bright and fast Mexican food that's ideal for those looking for a quick bite with a touch of comfort. Upon arrival, you're seated and given a table number. You place your order at the counter, choosing either to pay with a staff member or through an electronic kiosk, and you simply let them know your table number. Your food arrives at your table in about five minutes! The quality of the food is impressive—exceeding Chipotle’s offerings and just a notch below a traditional sit-down Mexican restaurant. The guacamole is particularly fresh and delicious. The main dishes are hearty and full of flavor. My only minor issue was with the overly stylized melted cheese they serve; sometimes, you just want a straightforward cheese option without the fuss. Overall, this place delivers quick service with a more upscale, restaurant vibe compared to typical fast-food Mexican spots. It's clean and definitely a great choice for those on the go."

"I dined here during my first trip to Arran, and I will definitely be returning! The staff were exceptionally friendly and attentive. The fish was incredibly fresh, easily some of the best I’ve ever had. I ordered the mussels in white wine and pesto sauce, and it was outstanding! There were also fantastic vegetarian and vegan options for my friends. To top it all off, we enjoyed a delicious brownie. I highly recommend this place! A perfect 10/10, plus the restaurant offers stunning views."

"An absolutely fantastic experience. We received such personal and warm hospitality from Sophie M who made it an unforgettable day for all of us, thank you . And the food! Excellent fish and chips a huge kids portion , lovely vegetarian bruschetta, really good burger and the most wonderful skinny fries with out of this world truffle topping. And we didn't even have the special valentines day menu. Thanks again and see you soon."

"This is a fantastic restaurant, but they could really use more staff. The few servers on duty seem overworked, which makes them a bit less friendly than I would have hoped. On the bright side, the food is incredible! Now I can see why..."

"Having scoured Trip Advisor for inspiration and knowing my husband is a connoisseur of the traditional English fare of Fish and Chips, this was an out the way choice for me but alas, sometimes you have to put the husband first and give him what he wants. Fish and chips isn't up there on the first choices for me for sure but my....so glad I did. The decor is impressive, red clay brick outside which is traditional of Nottingham given the local soil content. And the inside you have to see for yourself....stunning and very creatively put together. Beach huts, a traditional yet contemporary bar, glass, rustic and modern. Love it.The food is just incredible. Some clever menu design with something for everything but be warned...a lot of deep fried items which in my opinion isn't a bad thing. Platters of interesting items like squid in Old Bay seasoning, runny scotch eggs, goats cheese fritters and then the classics such as fish and chips, all done exceptionally well. The fish taco was sublime with sweet potato chips and a garlic aioli and the mushy peas just perfect. I loved every mouthful and the service was just brilliant also with a very attentive host. My partner had traditional fish and chips....loved it. Twice cooked chips were stunning. They have a gin bar!! I gush because even though I try not to be a hipster and this is a hipster thing through and through, I ****** love him. No gin this time given it was lunch time (although I did quaff a couple of glasses of Sauvignon) but if I was there in the evening, I would be tapping that lot up.I can't recommend enough for something usual or something classical....British food at its finest and it speaks for itself. Not something you can usually say about our native fare I say, tongue in cheek of course. Fabulous! Ps no room for dessert but they do have candy floss on one of the desserts. I love this idea....fun should and can be fun. Next time I won't eat so much and will indulge...."

"Came here for my boyfriends birthday with our friends. Staff were fantastic, atmosphere was awesome great music choice! Food was reasonably priced, great quality, freshly homemade and very yummy! Highly recommend the whiskey river sauce! Also very thorough with allergy concerns mentioned I couldn’t have onion and the staff were quick to check whether it was an intolerance or allergy and were really helpful with the changes that could be made to the order. Thanks Moose Kitchen for a fabulous evening! We will be back!"

"Tinga served up a fairly nice evening, but in our opinion there's some room for improvement. The venue is quite kitsch (if you're into that kind of thing), and was lively with dates and parties. The staff were fairly attentive, although we did have to remind our server about an order. The serving order was a little strange. Dishes came out as they were ready, tapas style, but as it's not tapas it ended up with half our party eating while the other half waited. The food was OK. It was fairly tasty, but some of the dishes were a little bland and some were just weird. The black bean dip tasted like not a lot, as did the fish tacos. The king prawn tacos had a mango sauce on them that was incredibly sweet, and completely overpowering. The empenadas tasted good but were pretty soggy. The drinks were also OK. Tinga lager isn't anything to write home about but is a nice alternative to standard lagers if you're looking for something different. One mocktail came with a charred piece of orange, which we guess was meant to be lightly blackened but ended up dropping a load of ash into the drink, and was very strong smelling."
