"This restaurant offers bright and fast Mexican food that's ideal for those looking for a quick bite with a touch of comfort. Upon arrival, you're seated and given a table number. You place your order at the counter, choosing either to pay with a staff member or through an electronic kiosk, and you simply let them know your table number. Your food arrives at your table in about five minutes! The quality of the food is impressive—exceeding Chipotle’s offerings and just a notch below a traditional sit-down Mexican restaurant. The guacamole is particularly fresh and delicious. The main dishes are hearty and full of flavor. My only minor issue was with the overly stylized melted cheese they serve; sometimes, you just want a straightforward cheese option without the fuss. Overall, this place delivers quick service with a more upscale, restaurant vibe compared to typical fast-food Mexican spots. It's clean and definitely a great choice for those on the go."

"This restaurant is slightly off the beaten path from the main activities in Falmouth, but I'm glad we decided to dine here. The view of the harbor is lovely, and the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. Our food arrived promptly, and we each chose three small plates along with a side of fries. The portions were generous and the food was delicious. Our favorite was the fish taco, but everything we tried was tasty and well-presented. I would definitely return, although my partner was disappointed by the lack of cask ale options for beer."

"I call this fancy gourmet gringo Mexican food. Doesn’t mean it isn’t good, just not authentic and I would not expect authentic Mexican in Scotland anyway. The service is ok. The ambiance is upbeat and good Spanish music. Fairly extensive menu of street tacos, enchiladas, burritos, tostadas, starters. Good variety of tequilas and margaritas. We shared between three of us: grilled prawn tostadas, roasted cauliflower street tacos, charred corn and refried bean quesadillas, chipotle roast vegetables quesadillas. Husband also ordered shredded honey pork tacos. Everything was very flavorful. Nothing spicy though. The Union Mezcal old fashioned margarita was good with mezcal tequila although a bit too sweet. The Tommy margaritas were even sweeter. Overall a very good dinner and I would recommend. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £40–50 Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5"

"Discovered Wahaca on my recent trip to London and instantly fell in love with this funky and vibrant Mexican eatery that’s mimicking the real street feel of Mexican cities. The space is designed in rustic, grungy style with lots of street elements. Loved the colors used in the space, giving it a very young feel. Space is not the only cool thing about the space! The food is just as great with everything that we ordered tasting great and served in a simple yet quirky style. They offer a great variety and with enough vegetarian choice as well. The staff at Wahaca was great, very friendly and courteous and made some great recommendation. The overall experience was so good that I would certainly them each time I am visiting. Would definitely recommend this place is you dig Mexican food and enjoy relaxed, fun and vibrant spaces."

"Although I usually love catch 22 tonight was particularly disappointing. After standing waiting for around 10 minutes we decided to leave after the women behind the counter weren’t taking orders until they were ready. Basically they had backed up too many orders so they couldn’t add to their list. Hopefully coming back another time for tacos when this won’t happen."

"We have popped into George’s in the heart of Nottingham and I can say that we were amazed. All of us ordered the same main courses as we fell in love with the chicken on the menu. The service was prompt and efficient The restaurant was not busy at that time, the food came quick and our server made sure that everything is spot on Thanks you very much George’s!"

"Awesome find! Driving to Bournemouth discovered this place and tried to book. No room but offered to let us know if a cancellation and luckily there was! Table at 6pm but never rushed to leave and spent a couple of hours in fantastic company with great Canadian cuisine and drinks. All the staff are so friendly and conversation is there if you want it. Lots of regulars show this is no flash in the pan. But what comes out of the kitchen is the star. It’s impossible to find great Canadian food in the U.K. and here it is. If only there were a bowl of pierogis and bacon on their own "

"After looking forward to Christmas lunch for months and inviting 30+ members of family to what I understood was a well respected establishment I have left with a bad taste in my mouth (and that 's not from the inadequacy of the food on offer). Paying £65 for Christmas Dinner I would have expected a luxury experience but this sadly was not the case. On arrival we were hearded in to a crowding dining hall like farmed cattle. After sitting down at the table I was served a lentil soup that had been left sat in the kitchen since the beatles were in the charts! Cold is an understatement. Shortly after this initial debacle, several members of our party left before even enjoying the overcooked beef that was on offer after queuing for the buffet for 35 minutes. I did however decide to stay and sample the carvery but did find that said beef was tougher than a sudoko puzzle after 18 pints! The turkey was tasty however so must give marks for this. The vegetables were wattery and had a distinct lack of seasoning and the Yorkshire puddings were drier than a Saharan summer. The hall had a star performer from the classic children 's TV Programme The Singing Kettle which was clearly well organised but the decibel levels were astronomical! Screaming at my young son from 3ft away isn 't my idea of a Christmas to remember! There was also an elderly lady who had felt unwell and vomited outside the front door where the smokers were standing. I did see a member of staff notified of this incident so I had assumed that this unfortunate mess would have been swiftly cleared but after several hours I returned to the scene to find the solidified vomit remained. It reminded me of the beef. The wine on sale at the bar was watered down, the draught lager was underwhelming and the staff in the dining hall (no fault of their own and absolutely not a responsibility they should have to burden) were noticeably untrained. Not to mention the lack of direction from any members of management. In 31 years of dining out for Christmas lunch (Covid being the only exception) this was, by some distance, the worst meal experience to date. I now have to explain to my distant family members, who have travelled from as far as Montevideo in Uruguay, that this isn 't the experience I had in mind when I asked them to make the journey. Hopefully any guests unfortunate enough to have booked for next year already are treated to a far better experience. If you plan to make no improvements to the event, I 'd send them to a soup kitchen instead. P.S. here is a photo of the dust on my fingers when I ran my hand along the wall beside my table. The lack of care for what should be such a magical day is upsetting and I will be contacting the health board about the asbestos infused environment I was forced to consume my food in. Merry Christmas"

"Tinga served up a fairly nice evening, but in our opinion there's some room for improvement. The venue is quite kitsch (if you're into that kind of thing), and was lively with dates and parties. The staff were fairly attentive, although we did have to remind our server about an order. The serving order was a little strange. Dishes came out as they were ready, tapas style, but as it's not tapas it ended up with half our party eating while the other half waited. The food was OK. It was fairly tasty, but some of the dishes were a little bland and some were just weird. The black bean dip tasted like not a lot, as did the fish tacos. The king prawn tacos had a mango sauce on them that was incredibly sweet, and completely overpowering. The empenadas tasted good but were pretty soggy. The drinks were also OK. Tinga lager isn't anything to write home about but is a nice alternative to standard lagers if you're looking for something different. One mocktail came with a charred piece of orange, which we guess was meant to be lightly blackened but ended up dropping a load of ash into the drink, and was very strong smelling."

"This was my first time at the restaurant and I will definitely be returning. The Yorkshire breakfast I ordered was incredibly tasty. The bacon and sausage were of exceptional quality, as they source their ingredients locally from a good butcher. The chef was very accommodating and made us poached eggs instead of fried. The toast was made with proper brown bread. Overall, there was nothing to dislike about the experience. The only downside is that the restaurant is only open one evening per week."

"Birthday meal Went to downtown taqueria for my birthday was pretty quiet when we went there but the service was fast and friendly. The food is something totally different nachos are great with the best guacamole. The ‘meat one’ sharing platter was awesome and more than enough for two people. Will be back and recommend anyone to go. The cocktail selection is great as well."

"I was really impressed with this restaurant. It’s just the right fit for the location. I realize it was less busy during our visit than it might be in the peak summer season, but that didn’t take away from our experience. The staff was helpful, attentive, and knowledgeable. The food was excellent. My partner has a gluten allergy, and I was pleased to find that many dishes were either gluten-free or could be easily modified to accommodate him, which was a first for him."

"Popped in for a light bite with my daughter today. Service was terrible and the food not much better. Doesn't come as described on the menu, staff unwilling take any adjustments. When our plates were collected and we were asked, for the first time since receiving our meal, if our food was OK, we responded with it was just OK. Our plates were removed and we were ignored for the rest of our visit. No offer of drinks or desserts, rude and uncaring about the whole customer experience. We ordered bangers and mash, which was bland and didn't come as described on the menu, no veg and raw, floury fried onions and two items from the small plate menu. I asked for the honey chilli which was supposed to come with Asian slaw, see picture for tiny soggy salad with rotten veg, chicken was hard, dry and over cooked. Absolutely will not be returning. Avoid."

"Ever since Pick More Daisies closed down in Crouch End, I've always ventured further afield for brunch. That is until now; now that Monkey Nuts has been discovered! Don't get me wrong, I have been to Monkey Nuts a few times before. But it has always been for drinks in their cosy sofa bar area! Monkey Nuts has a big glass fronted entrance which makes the restaurant feel very light and airy. There is the dining area at the front of the restaurant and another towards the back. Even though we were seated just by the entrance, we didn't feel the draft of the door and the outside air. Sunday brunch consisted of tea and eggs on toast! Toasted triangles of granary bread topped with softly...read more"

"Mike, our waiter, was fantastic with our daughter, who was obsessed with him. All the staff were attentive and kind. The manager made sure everything was perfect with our meal. It would have been helpful if they had a baby changing station. The restaurant was very busy with families and young children. Overall, it was a wonderful first Mexican dining experience for our little one. Thank you!"
"Although the restaurant was busy, we were able to find outdoor seating without a reservation. The outdoor seats were located under a covered area, but there was not much protection from the wind. Indoor seating was also available, but we opted for the outdoor seating on this warm evening. The restaurant had many charming wooden cabins for seating, but they were all occupied due to its popularity. We enjoyed glimpses of the sea over the wooden fence and even spotted dolphins or porpoises in the bay. The food was delicious with generous portions that left us feeling satisfied. The high quality ingredients made the dishes not greasy at all, perfect for a seaside meal. We will definitely be returning to this restaurant."
