"I really don't like giving bad reviews of local establishments but I feel you need to up your game big style. Went here after hearing about the place online. Our order included taccos, loaded fries and a chicken burger. The burger honestly was the most pittiful thing I had ever seen. It cost £16 and I ha e often got bigger and more impressive burgers for £5 in a takeaway. Small skinny fillet, run of the mill brioche bap and bog standard small portion of skinny fries. The tacco's £6 each and it's literally one small tacco which you could eat in 2 bites. The loaded fries were tasty but the brisket was dry and snuff, stringy dried out brisket... Really disappointing. The food took like 40 minutes to come.... I really don't understand where all this hype has come from but overpriced and sub par."

My friends and I decided to try the tacos on Taco Tuesday after our evening walk, and they were only £3 each. I got the cabbage one, and it was the best taco I've ever had! I highly recommend them.

It is our first visit to Londonderry/Derry and Pyke “N” Pommes was recommended to us. We were very impressed. The food is great, the service attentive and the atmosphere is lively and friendly. We would highly recommend this as a casual place to eat.

We visited the strand Road location. Lovely easy going atmosphere, clean toilets and friendly service. Delicious burgers and chips for my husband and I. Our young children enjoyed the chips and the soft drinks. We would love to return and try out more things on the menu. View menu

I tried lunch here the other day as it had been recommended to me by friends and family. Definitely an unusual location, in an old bus. I had the butter chicken burger which was spicy than what I was expecting but perhaps I misread the ingredients, so I must visit again ands try something else

This is a lovely setting for lunch especially on a sunny day as it is the only place to eat on the river front . However, we waited over 40 mins for our order which is unacceptable for a fast food type place. We had fish and squid tacos 3 for £10 the squid ones were lovely but the fish ones were totally tasteless. Very disappointing and with these wait times we won't return

After a staff bonding day, 11 of us decided to visit this restaurant. We were greeted by Ronan, who was very welcoming and showed us to our seats. He explained how to order and where the restrooms were located. The atmosphere was cozy and warm. Everyone got their orders correctly and we were all impressed by how delicious the food was. In fact, one person even ordered a second burger to go. Keep up the great work and we will definitely be back soon. - Caoimhe. View menu

First time in Derry with my GF and we decided to go to Pyke Pommes after seeing great reviews about the restaurant. My gf got the tacos and I got the LEGENDERRY burger with fries (as a separate order) don’t know why they aren’t included with the burger. However, the eating experience wasn’t that great as there was 3 tables that came in after us and got their food before ours. Even tho we’d ordered well before. The restaurant wasn’t that busy so quite disappointed in that aspect. The food when it arrived could of been a hotter as it was lukewarm to cold. Quite disappointing really

We stopped at this restaurant for a late evening meal mid-week on our way to Donegal. The restaurant was quiet, the service was good, but the room was very cold. We ordered steaks and sides, which were excellent, but they were served on plates that were too cold, causing the food to get even colder quickly. It was disappointing to start off feeling cold and then be served cold food on a cold night. The chips were only moderately hot as a side dish. Considering the price, we expected the food to be served at a minimum level of warmth for comfort and enjoyment, even on a mid-week night.

"I had tickets for the evening's entertainment in the ballroom and thought it would be an idea to have supper first to make a night of it. We were straight away led to The Grill and seated by a lovely welcoming member of staff who made sure we had drinks and menus. The variety itself was more than sufficient with something for everyone. We know what we like and like what we want so went for two of the salmon and two of the turkey/ham combo. Our starters were served very quickly and plates cleared as soon as we were finished. My company remarked on the still warm bread rolls complimented on how hot full of flavour the soup was. We opted to have our tea in the ballroom as the seats were filling up and didn't want to be too far back and this was brought through for us by another very pleasant member of staff and we were settled for the show. I loved the food, reasonably priced very tasty and good portions so more than happy with the meal. However what really made this the most pleasant of experiences was the staff. The manager, the floor supervisor and the waiting staff. Full of chat, helpful and very personable. All were quite young maybe holiday relief staff but this didn't come through if that was the case. I wish I'd taken their names although had I done I might have left someone out...This establishment seem to know the value in good staff and I hope they look after them. We will definitely be back and thank you for a lovely evening made all the more special because of how you looked after us, an absolute joy."
