We were very lucky to get a 'walk in ' table. We were two adults and two dogs who were made very welcome. The Crust pizza company were having a pop up night. What a pleasant surprise, just one hour before our boat back to Ullapool. Very hip atmosphere, great pictures by a superb local photographer on the wall, very helpful and communicative staff and best soup we had in the entire UK. We've been there two days ago and were lucky to get a table. The service and food were both great and we enjoyed our meals and black ale. Though we've been to Skye two years ago, this was our first bottle of Isle of Skye Black Ale and it was great. :-D When you're looking for somewhere to get great and fresh seafood, you should have a look. The nicest little restaurant I've been to in a while. A modern little restaurant that has plenty of food options on my travels. The Goats cheese salad starter was really nice, I've never had raw fennel before in a salad and really liked it! The chicken burger was fantastic, myself and my cousin loved how light the batter was and the chicken was very juicy. The Lemon Posset pudding with seaweed shortbread was also very tasty. The waitress who served us was lovely, bubbly gave us her honest opinions on things which I enjoyed, and a little crack about the local areas to visit. My husband walked in and they said that they had an event at 2pm but they could give us a 1:15pm reservation. He went to get me and we rushed over. We arrived at 1:17pm. By that time, there was a new sign on the door that said closed from 1pm. When we entered they told us that they realised there was not enough time after all and could not accept us. A lady who was eating at that time reminded them that they had given us a 1:15pm reservation. They told us they had changed their minds and decided that there was not enough time after all.
