"After some stressful and challenging days, it was my day off, finally. I decided to treat myself by going on my own for a proper meal. I put on my airy summer dress and got out of the house without makeup or having a specific destination I like to live dangerously, I know. The weather took me mentally back at home, Greece. Walking alongside riverside with the sun showering my now milk white skin (no tan for greek girls in the UK), I was getting reminded once again, how rich and beautiful this city 's architecture is. Wondering what restaurant to pick for my special day, I realized I would fancy some nice and well made burrito, so, as every self respected consumer I opened my google maps, typed burrito and filtered my list to the top rated ones. Jive was just 5 minutes away, which was quite convenient for my hungry belly. I had passed 1 million times from their door but never noticed it. You need to be looking for their floor standing sign. Walked up the stairs and ended up in an extremely atmospheric well lit room, with vintagely ruined plaster, exposed subflooring and industrial furniture. The windows were wide open, welcoming every bit of the summer weather and revealing an inspiring angle of everything that was going on outside, in the heart of Norwich, the fine city. The tables are few, for which I 'm not complaining about. After all I 'm getting more and more anti socially british as the time goes by. You don 't know me but I 'm one of those individuals who love to sit in crowded places and watch the strangers around them guessing their stories based on details. Regarding people enjoying the Jive food there, there was a big group of friends, an old couple, a new couple (probably on one of their first dates) and two men probably on an unofficial business meeting. The food was just amazing. Prices are not the best but then again, it was expected considering the position and the dine in feature. Loved every aspect of my visit. Honorable mention? The polite and helpful service."

"The gastronomic delight that is Lima restaurant offers a pleasant experience and an interesting experience to Peruvian cuisine. Its decor had a tasteful ambiance that is neither over the top nor too muted. Our culinary journey at Lima started with a classic Ceviche an embodiment of freshness, vibrant in flavor. However, for those accustomed to the traditional Peruvian kick, it might need a tad more salt and a generous addition of aji (chilli) to satisfy your palate. The Octopus Crab Causa was another delightful dish. The perfect combination of sea flavors, together with the well seasoned potato, added a beautiful depth to the dish. But, the real winner amongst the appetizers was the Croquetas de Ají de Gallina an absolute triumph that is bound to make you want more. For the main course, we chose the Beef Filet Saltado (Lomo Saltado) which came with rice. The beef was beautifully tender, with a melody of flavors playing in each bite, all harmonized beautifully with the rich jus. Unfortunately, the dessert didn't live up to the high standard set by the preceding dishes. We had the Tres Leches, which it's a dessert that tends to be a crowd pleaser but was somewhat forgettable in this setting. The dining experience at Lima was overall very satisfying. Although it might lean a bit towards the expensive side, it was expected and feels justified for the quality of the food and the nice ambiance. Lima certainly strives to maintain the authenticity of Peruvian cuisine while adapting some variations for the British public. In summary, Lima restaurant is an excellent choice for a unique dining experience that takes you on a culinary journey to Peru without leaving the heart of London. I am already looking forward to my next visit."

"Visit from April 2022... We revisited this branch as we had a gift card, the waiter remembered us from last time when we mentioned about our allergies. The waiter was really nice but I felt sorry for him as everyone was asking him to take their orders and he was the only staff member present on the floor. The food was very enjoyable, we ordered 2 Chicken Quasadilla, 2 Mushroom Quasadillas, 2 Sweet Potato portions and Califlower Wings. We were able to ask for our mayo to be out of our meals and on the sides instead which was great as we could are it as we wished. It took a long long time to ask for a dessert afterwards, we had to keep trying to get the attention of someone to serve us which took around 20-30 minutes. At the end we were trying to scan the QR code (like my previous review below the QR code does not work! We tried on three different devices and over three different tables QR! The receipt shows a surcharge which you can ask for it to be taken off, it would be great for the QR code to work as then you feel like you can take it off if you felt like it wasn't an enjoyable experience, we took the gift card to the till and it took around 30 minutes to sort out! Ridiculous. The staff member was apologetic but it caused us to miss out train, it should be much easier to use a gift card. Think that's the last time we will visit here as the ending has become too stressful. Visit from Feb 2022 ... First time visiting a Wahaca Branch. Staff were very friendly and they asked regarding allergies which is very important. Lots of Vegetarian options which is brilliant, we ordered the Mushroom Club, Chicken Club, Patatas Bravas and a Halloumi and Pineapple Taco which was free. The Freebie was very very cold, it felt like because it was free they didn't care how it was presented? The Patatas Bravas were luke warm. The rest of the food was really nice especially the Mushroom Club which I would have again. We were going to order two lots of Patatas Bravas but we're adviced just to buy one because of the size.... We wish we had bought two lots as there wasn't enough to share one portion. Ordered through person but had to pay through QR code which didn't work, so waiter had to do it on their phone which made us feel uncomfortable and stupid... Personally either order through an app and pay at the time or just order through a person and pay through a person, don't do a mixture. Restaurant was clean and toilets were nice and clean which I always check. Knocked a star off for the cold/Luke warm portions of our meal and also the QR system not working correctly (Side Note: I have paid via QR codes before so know how they work so I am experienced with them so think many people will struggle to pay like this."

"We booked a table for Saturday tea time for 7 people, and the booking stated that one of the guests would be an 18 month old which would need a high chair. We went to the bar to tell them we were here for a booking and when we shown our table we were seated at one of the two high tables in the whole place. There was no high chair set at the table, so I asked for this and they brought the usual wooden pub highchair over, but if my daughter sat at this at the table her head would be under the table, how were we supposed to have a meal with her like this? We asked if we could be moved to a low table, which there was a large one to seat all 7 of us at where there was one man having a beer, and the next booking for that table was 2 hours later, so we would be gone before the next booking. The bar staff said that he couldn't ask the man to swap tables, unsure why, and the only solutions he had was for us to sit at a table for 4 (way too small and cramped for our party size) or for him to swap one of the high tables for a low table, so we opted for this. However, because the high tables were up against a bench seat it then meant that my husband had to be wedged in behind the table so that there was enough space for me to sit down and not be bumping in to the table behind me. It also meant that we couldn't really speak with the other members of our party as they were sat a good foot above us. Safe to say, I will not be recommending to any of my friends, especially ones with children, and we will look for an alternative next time we visit the area."
