"Today wife and I celebrated my birthday and also my successful heart op. So it was a special day for us. We sat in the indoor terrace, nice and warm and enough people to give a nice atmosphere. Staff were absolutely superb. We both had scallops to start. Very good Followed by whole char grilled cuttle fish my wife found this dish to be excellent) I tried the pollock. Nicely cooked. I had chips with my fish and when I ordered a second lot they arrived in 2 or 3 mins a piping hot. We also had a sweet. Chocolate brownie with banoffee sauce and I had the peach Melba. Both excellent followed by tea and I had the fisherman’s coffee. Well done to all at rockfish and not forgetting all those behind the scenes. Kid-friendliness: Children were welcome and a nice high chair provided. Wheelchair accessibility: Having got a family member in a wheelchair I tend to take notice of ease of entry and roominess to manoeuvre. Not sure about toilets."

"Vegan options are clearly labelled and it was nice to see some more inspired choices. We were advised to order 1-2 dishes per person and shared the vegan steak tacos, small nachos, mushroom melt and sweet potato fries. It was a nice amount of food between two people and we generally enjoyed the dishes although the mushroom melt was a bit too spicy for me (I have quite a low chilli threshold). The dishes are served 'tapas style ' (i.e. they come out as they are ready) which isn 't to my preference but service was efficient. We had an early dinner on Sunday and it was quiet. "The vegan options at this restaurant are great. I have tried the mushrooms on toast for brunch and they also offer vegan mac, burgers, and jackfruit stew in the evenings, all of which are delicious. Although it's not on the menu, they have dairy-free milks (almond, oat, and soy) for hot drinks. I was pleasantly surprised to be offered vegan milkshakes, made with vegan milk and ice cream topped with vegan squirty cream. These were a lovely dessert option. I would recommend this place for both daytime and evening dining."

"After some stressful and challenging days, it was my day off, finally. I decided to treat myself by going on my own for a proper meal. I put on my airy summer dress and got out of the house without makeup or having a specific destination I like to live dangerously, I know. The weather took me mentally back at home, Greece. Walking alongside riverside with the sun showering my now milk white skin (no tan for greek girls in the UK), I was getting reminded once again, how rich and beautiful this city 's architecture is. Wondering what restaurant to pick for my special day, I realized I would fancy some nice and well made burrito, so, as every self respected consumer I opened my google maps, typed burrito and filtered my list to the top rated ones. Jive was just 5 minutes away, which was quite convenient for my hungry belly. I had passed 1 million times from their door but never noticed it. You need to be looking for their floor standing sign. Walked up the stairs and ended up in an extremely atmospheric well lit room, with vintagely ruined plaster, exposed subflooring and industrial furniture. The windows were wide open, welcoming every bit of the summer weather and revealing an inspiring angle of everything that was going on outside, in the heart of Norwich, the fine city. The tables are few, for which I 'm not complaining about. After all I 'm getting more and more anti socially british as the time goes by. You don 't know me but I 'm one of those individuals who love to sit in crowded places and watch the strangers around them guessing their stories based on details. Regarding people enjoying the Jive food there, there was a big group of friends, an old couple, a new couple (probably on one of their first dates) and two men probably on an unofficial business meeting. The food was just amazing. Prices are not the best but then again, it was expected considering the position and the dine in feature. Loved every aspect of my visit. Honorable mention? The polite and helpful service."

"Schooners offers great live music and fantastic cocktails, making it an ideal bar by the sea! The breakfast menu caters to all tastes and is beautifully prepared and served. No day is complete without a big cup of coffee, and Schooners definitely delivers on that front as well! I would highly recommend this spot to anyone visiting the north coast of Cornwall—it should definitely be on your 'to do' list! I can’t wait to try their evening tapas menu; it looks incredible! Thank you!"

"Came with my sister before the eras tour and had a fab time! We were served by a young waitress who was super friendly and helpful. We had fajitas and chicken enchiladas which were both tasty but the highlight was the guacamole handmade at the table. We also loved the frozen margaritas. Prices were reasonable for Edinburgh and the place had a great cozy atmosphere. Would definitely return if in the area again!"

"This meal was beyond amazing! We were camping close by and decided to have dinner at a pub. We had no idea just how fantastic the dinner would be. The vegetarian and vegan options were outstanding, and everything we ordered was phenomenal. Our dogs were allowed inside, which was a huge plus, and the staff made us, including our kids, feel very welcome. The service was friendly and the atmosphere was great. If we ever find ourselves in the area again, we will definitely be coming back!"

"We have eaten here a few times over the years and enjoyed the food, particularly as a vegan. This time around not as good. Firstly as a family no kids breakfast options but they were fine with us splitting the pancakes. Secondly, only two vegan options at breakfast, neither of which an actual ‘traditional esque’ breakfast. I opted for the plant based breakfast bap which did taste nice but a little on the undercooked side. Relatively small for virtually £10. Things to improve to get back to its older best: Have more vegan and kids options for breakfast. If you’re going to charge £10 for a small breakfast bap, add a few bits on the side. Way overpriced for what you get. We will be going to the better brekkie options in the area next time."

"Our reservation was mishandled, and our table was mistakenly given away while we waited at the bar. This was frustrating, especially since we had a confirmed booking. The bar staff, however, were lovely and very efficient. Unfortunately, the table service didn’t match the same standard. We had a long wait after finally being seated before our food and drinks arrived. When it was time to settle the bill, we were charged £60 for a bottle of wine, despite our order being for a £32 bottle—quite a significant error. The table service offered little in the way of an apology for this mistake. While the venue itself is beautiful and we enjoyed an enjoyable evening with friends, the level of service was disappointing and felt lacking."

"Wahaca is one of my favorite restaurant chains because of its delicious food and lively atmosphere. The restaurant is vibrant and modern, which really lifts your spirits and gets you excited for the cocktails and meals. You can opt for smaller sharing dishes or regular main courses, making it perfect for groups and those who want to sample a variety of items. Additionally, I appreciate that the food is flavorful without being overwhelmingly spicy. I personally prefer milder dishes, and Wahaca offers just the right level for me. However, my friends who enjoy spicier food were also satisfied with the heat level of the spicy options. Whatever your spice tolerance, you’re sure to find something enjoyable. I highly recommend visiting one of their locations, especially in the evening, so you can stay for some drinks afterward. It's a perfect spot for dinner before a night out!"

"Great quality ingredients, good views...staff didn't really interact but they were busy so that's understandable. Good queueing system with buzzers handed out so you know when yours is ready. Yes, you'll have to wait a while as it's popular but it's worth it! Seafood platter was fab and plentiful and my husband loved the burger. All very fresh and tasty. Son had the langoustines which were really plentiful (surprisingly so! but rather a surprise to be served cold and without having been cut along the backs. Made them really hard to shell by hand (impossible for him and left me with sore thumbs . They would have been far tastier if served hot with some garlic butter. Definitely visit but stick to the goujons and scampi!"
"Mexican tapas? Count me in! I flippin love this place. My absolute ultimate is the prawn tacos with Mexican slaw. So spicy, so amazing! I loved the frozen margaritas and tried one of every flavour. I just wish I lived closer because I would eat...here all the time if I could. Only down side is that because it’s so so so good, it’s always super busy and therefore can be loud as it attracts groups because of it being a tapas place. Having said that, the staff don’t seem overwhelmed at all by how busy it is and they are the right amount of attentive. I love that they serve still water in old tequila bottles without you having to ask."

"As part of the Bon Vivant group I expected the food at El Cartel to be good and thankfully wasn 't disappointed. Had some tasty sweet potato and chorizo quesadillas; pork tacos; duck tacos (I think it was this that was particularly fiery and delicious cod tacos with light and crisp battler. Had all three of the accompaniments too, including a beautiful slaw, though I wasn 't crazy about the flavour of the drunken beans. Had a scoop each of chocolate chilli and rich pudding (more like hot cross buns or something ice cream to finish: tasty and with an interesting, almost chewy texture, though at £3 each feels a little steep. All washed down with a tasty frozen margaritas (I had a rhubarb one that are churned in machines grown up slush puppies (I 'm not really a tequila fan but when in Rome... ! Everything comes out as and when it 's ready with friendly service and, while they don 't take reservations, I heard the staff suggest having a drink across the street (in Bon Vivant, of course and they will get you when a table becomes ready which is a nice touch. With colourful tiles and knick knacks and a corrugated iron ceiling (and slightly creepy dolls to mark ladies ' and gents ' toilets , it feels like an authentic hole in the wall you might find in the streets of Mexico."

"Ordered food to be delivered at Bellfield on pub quiz day, as it's always been possible, and as Safari's website allows you to do no indication this was no longer an option. After being charged, waiting for over an hour, and half an hour past the estimated delivery time, phoned them to be told they no longer deliver to Bellfield but the order went through, so if we wanted the food, we'd have to go collect it which meant leaving the pub quiz to get the food. Option to cancel order and get a refund was never offered. Girl serving was very apologetic and bonus tequila was offered, but...."

"We had been eagerly anticipating our visit to Lima for quite some time, having even postponed our original reservation due to being stuck abroad on my birthday. The wait, however, was absolutely worth it. The set lunch menu was nothing short of stunning—a true work of art in every course, both visually and in taste. The recommendations for both drinks and food were spot on, and the service was attentive and friendly. To top it all off, the staff remembered that this visit was originally meant to be a birthday celebration and surprised me with a sweet treat. We can't wait to return—it was excellent!"
"We had a veggie set for 2 (6 different dishes). All those dishes are also available as separate meals to be ordered. Overall experience is good. Food was served quickly and service was very pleasant. Some dishes were very tasty (stuffed blue corn tortilla, tacos with plantain), some were fine (black bean quesadilla, tacos with pumpkin), some just average (broccoli, tacos with mushrooms). Some tacos were too soggy because of the filling and were falling apart in my hands, making it difficult to eat, other meals contained the same spices making it difficult to distinguish between 2 originally very different meals. As it was a share set for 2, it was a bit strange that some meals contained odd number of items (1pc and 3pc in some dishes) on the plates. It could have been better, should they really customise their sets for 2 people and not just bring those meals the way they are stated in the menu as separate items to order."

"I am extremely frustrated with this restaurant. I made a reservation for a bottomless lunch two weeks in advance, only to receive a text just a few hours before my reservation saying they could no longer accommodate food bookings for that day because the chef was ill. It's clear they don't have a backup plan for situations like this. I would never book here again, as they are not reliable."

"Absolute filth, the place need a deep deep clean. I've worked in hospitality for years and my husband is a chef, it always baffles me when the tables and chairs are dirty. What the kitchen must be like if the staff can't clean a chair. Food wasn't great. Spent £30 and I think I could have got better at a bacon buttie van in a lay-by. And 1 toilet for men and women, how is this ok?? I don't want take my daughter to toilet after a man has had his stinking in there. Cakes looked amazing if this helps, although we didn't buy one and won't return"

"We visited this restaurant for lunch after attending the Art of the Brick exhibit for my son's first birthday, and we were pleasantly surprised by the excellent service! The staff was very kind and even gave us complimentary birthday churros for our little one, while singing happy birthday to him. The food was delicious and the overall experience was truly fantastic."
