"The gastronomic delight that is Lima restaurant offers a pleasant experience and an interesting experience to Peruvian cuisine. Its decor had a tasteful ambiance that is neither over the top nor too muted. Our culinary journey at Lima started with a classic Ceviche an embodiment of freshness, vibrant in flavor. However, for those accustomed to the traditional Peruvian kick, it might need a tad more salt and a generous addition of aji (chilli) to satisfy your palate. The Octopus Crab Causa was another delightful dish. The perfect combination of sea flavors, together with the well seasoned potato, added a beautiful depth to the dish. But, the real winner amongst the appetizers was the Croquetas de Ají de Gallina an absolute triumph that is bound to make you want more. For the main course, we chose the Beef Filet Saltado (Lomo Saltado) which came with rice. The beef was beautifully tender, with a melody of flavors playing in each bite, all harmonized beautifully with the rich jus. Unfortunately, the dessert didn't live up to the high standard set by the preceding dishes. We had the Tres Leches, which it's a dessert that tends to be a crowd pleaser but was somewhat forgettable in this setting. The dining experience at Lima was overall very satisfying. Although it might lean a bit towards the expensive side, it was expected and feels justified for the quality of the food and the nice ambiance. Lima certainly strives to maintain the authenticity of Peruvian cuisine while adapting some variations for the British public. In summary, Lima restaurant is an excellent choice for a unique dining experience that takes you on a culinary journey to Peru without leaving the heart of London. I am already looking forward to my next visit."

Late lunch and remained full with no need for dinner. The quantities were quite good for an upscale eatery. The food and service was great. You just need to go, your taste buds and stomach will thank you.

Food was a good quality. Not your regular Peruvian restaurant- more ‘upscale’ portions were not huge as in regular Peruvian restaurants in US) Service was very professional and attentive The only thing was missing- great Peruvian soups we love…

Had a leisurely lunch here on Saturday. Had a range of dishes but my recommendations are definitely the raw seafood options. The tuna Nikkei and fish taco were very good. The corn cake also went well with main course dishes. Nice dining room as well. View menu

Great location, great interior, lovely friendly service and food to die for. The big bold flavours, textures and variety of tastes on offer was exceptional. A real joy to eat here and with some very well chosen cocktails and UK wine, what more could you want!

We were 5 and ordered a range of different dishes, all were inedible except for mushroom meddle thing. The miso aubergine was just a baked aubergine with some crispy onions on top is this the Michelin standard? Could have been more interesting. As for décor hope you like just plain cemented walls, felt like an unfinished house. Waited for 1hr for food to come out. The waiters didn't know the difference between different diets, but friendly nevertheless.

Interesting fine dining approach to Peruvian cuisine which can often be quite homely and big. Delicious ceviche layered in tiger’s milk and punchy with chilli hints (there were a few options of ceviche). Miso Aubergine was one of the best dishes. Pisco sours were very moreish. I didn’t love the dessert tres leche but everyone else seemed to enjoy it (I’m not a sweet tooth). Atmosphere is quite dark and loud not great for my elderly dad but overall I think it’s a well worth experience especially if you love Peruvian food. Staff were good. View menu

We enjoyed one of the best lunches at Lima. The atmosphere service were on point. Each dish was amazing. It is a family style type menu. We enjoyed three starters. The tuna, sea bass ceviche and the eggplant. The eggplant was my favorite and my husband loved the sea bass ceviche. We shared three entrees; The Rib of Beef, the Beef Saltado and the Cauliflower Quinoa. My 5 and 7 year old loved the Beef Saltado, my husband preferred the rib of beef and the Cauliflower Quinoa stole the show for me. We had to skip dessert due to traffic delays to our next reservation that afternoon. Our family enjoyed our lunch at Lima and would not think twice about returning.

We’ve been to Lima before and had an excellent menu box during covid craziness so were keen to return. We had the tasting menu which was nice. We were a couple and they sat us between two noisy larger groups which felt a bit uncomfortable. We were also told about the limited time at our table towards the end but realistically with a tasting menu we’re not in control of the food speed so we felt a bit irritated. I specified a wheat intolerance and they swapped out the dessert but didn’t communicate that before it arrived, so my husband missed out on something he was looking forward to. It was tasty though and we’ll go back but maybe not so quickly. I think I’ll be more fussy about where I sit...
