Loved it here so much. You must stop here when you are passing! Fast service. Tasty Food. Great view. Do it!

As a coeliac I was not expecting to be able to eat here —apart from chocolate brownie But what a treat to have great take away food.

The fish at this restaurant is outstanding. The langostines were fantastic, as well as the fish wrap and fish box. There is a wide variety of delicious options to choose from. Thank you to the staff for a great meal!

The one star is for our dissapointment finding this place closed when we stopped by. A posted sign explained that the owner felt unable to make a go of the business in the current economy; the possibility of reopening another year was tantalizingly mentioned. View menu

How did they manage to grab this spot ? A goldmine. Right on the border between Harris and Lewis on the main road with parking. Tremendous views. Delicious fish and chips or coffee/tea and snacks. Unbelievable spot for lunch. Everyone seemed to stop here. Actually not sure there is anything else close to this between Tarbert and Stornoway. That tells you everything about the Outer Hebrides. Note, they are open for very short hours.

Do not drive by thinking you can stop somewhere else for food as it looks too busy. Well worth stopping and ordering. The view while you are here is stunning. This has got to be the best food at fair prices you can get in Lewis or Harris. The fish boxes are wonderful (two out of our group of three had them) but my favourite was the fish coujons . Check out their menu online if you are going to be passing and phone ahead to place your order. Customer service was spot on. It is evident from number of tourists and locals that stop to eat here that the food is really good.

Great quality ingredients, good views...staff didn't really interact but they were busy so that's understandable. Good queueing system with buzzers handed out so you know when yours is ready. Yes, you'll have to wait a while as it's popular but it's worth it! Seafood platter was fab and plentiful and my husband loved the burger. All very fresh and tasty. Son had the langoustines which were really plentiful (surprisingly so! but rather a surprise to be served cold and without having been cut along the backs. Made them really hard to shell by hand (impossible for him and left me with sore thumbs . They would have been far tastier if served hot with some garlic butter. Definitely visit but stic... View menu
