A delightful blend of creamy ice cream topped with rich chocolate sauce, crunchy nuts, and a cherry on top. Perfect indulgence!

"Absolutely shocking service from man at the entrance. We were told off for exiting the incorrect way when their sign was pointing us in the direction. He admitted this was wrong, but was incredibly rude and still told us we should read the sign and that we now know for next time . I 'm glad he thinks there will be a next time. We were seated on the roof terrace. Service was slow, trying to get the attention of staff seemed to be a struggle especially when the restaurant was rather empty. All in all the staff just seemed bored and annoyed. Prices are super expensive. The food was good, but not THAT good to warrant such high prices. Its a shame because its really lovely up there, but you get that typical smug holier than thou attitude from that one staff member at the entrance that look at you like you really cannot afford to be eating here. It should have been a pleasant work lunch with 7 of us attending, but this was one of the least memorable experiences we have had together. Honestly it would have been fine if the guy at the entrance wasn 't so rude and patronising. We have been to the coffee restaurant before and had a completely different experience so its really sad that our experience was ruined by this man."

"popped in for a beautiful pint looking for local pubs on google. at the moment I went into me, two workers were persecuted separately and asked if I were in order, as I almost made myself up in cash. What are you doing just to foot in I had to tell them both that I wanted to get one pint. I wanted to be persecuted, but I got it off. I ordered my pint (which by the way did not pour the girl properly) and paid and said that the cashier I can sit everywhere and he said yes how there were many places to sit. I went to a comfortable place and halfway away by asking my pint a coworker if I could go to another place, as my table reserved there was no reserve sign and I was a bit confused as I was told that I could sit somewhere. but I gave them the advantage of the doubt and moved. I was separated again and even had a bar employee wondering if everything was in order and if I wanted to order something else, he seemed nice. then asked me the same bar staff from before, who asked me to move earlier, and apparently this was also reserved. I was really unhappy and had to gulp the rest of my pints and go. He was so rude that you said you could sit everywhere, it was me, it was me and became quite aggressive and intimidating. I told him how unhappy I was that this happened twice with me and there was no indication on the table or any staff that the tables were reserved. this is probably the worst customer service I have ever received. the organization and management is a shame. here is a feedback for them: 1. You are a pub, stop pretending to be something imaginative. they serve pints on a bar, so they are a pub and should treat all customers equally. 2. they teach the rod personnel how to pour properly pints. 3. if a table is reserved, they make this clear for the customers so that they know which time the table is reserved and they can move accordingly. 4. customer service is everything. this will have an influence on her business, because mouthpropaganda is very powerful. look at their other reviews there are many others where people have said that the staff is rude."

"It was just next to theatre...offered us discount with our movie tickets...we ordered kid meal for our younger one and he was very happy with his garlic bread, spaghetti, lemonade, waffle, French fries. For ourself, veg pasta was sufficient. Overall good experience!"

"Excellent! We spent around four hours here on a Tuesday afternoon sampling their food, savouring their coffee and scabbing their free wifi! I 'll start with the basics. The Refuge is conveniently located on Oxford Street just a two minute walk from the train station. The casual seating area is huge with plenty of places for different sized groups to sit, there 's even an Apprentice Style boardroom table. The vibe is very relaxed but when I entered I noticed a lot of business people (or people clearly working). The decor is fantastic, as mentioned its a huge open space but the dark wooden finish makes it feel close and comfortable. The lunch menu isn 't huge but they clearly want to keep things simple and do them right. I had the beef burger accompanied by skinny fries and it was delicious. Just the right consistency so you could pick it up without it falling apart. It was generously topped with salad and the 'posh big mac ' sauce finished it off nicely. If you want to eat you 'll have to head through to the dining area as they don 't serve food in the lounge beware this was very busy, even on a Tuesday, so you may need to book in advance. After lunch we headed back to the lounge area and had a coffees while we chatted. The coffee was great, I had a flat white which was just off on the good side of bitter. We also ordered snacks later in the day the Almonds cooked in bacon fat are a must try that might sound gross to some people but just wait until the bacon flavour hits your taste buds! To access the free wifi you 'll need to sign up wth your email address but then it 's all yours. I haven 't even received a spammy email a week later. It 's really hard to fault The Refuge the staff were attentive without being too in your face, which I suppose is important when people are using their premises for business meets! All in all a really great experience and a lovely place to spend the afternoon working."

"We came to the restaurant to celebrate my boyfriend's birthday and try American cuisine. I was especially excited to try the food from the smoker, and the beef brisket did not disappoint. The steak was also delicious. For dessert, we had the fudge cake and New York cheesecake, both of which we thoroughly enjoyed. The service was exceptional."

"what makes small brasserie restaurants great? first you have to be happy to find them because they become secrets in your secret box, say the world or do you keep them in a special place only for you? now no, not at this opportunity jill and their staff are talented people, each part of this great grassy works so well. eating is simply fantastic, it is a very Scottish style with fresh local products, cooked with wee bit of the pariser brasserie flair and is served by beautiful people. so from the traditional hearty mess of fishing n chips, and craftsman burger to dress with invention and a home touch (the rory pie)! every time we were with either large groups of friends to small occasions with our young granddaughters, they always let them think how nice it was to eat, how nice the staff was and how tight a ship this place is. it is always nice to visit a strange winter day, listen to a cool soul and r"

"I chose this restaurant for my 13-year-old daughter's birthday celebration with a few friends. The desserts were amazing, but I wanted to comment on how brilliant the staff were. Despite me arriving much later than planned and without prior notice, I asked if I could put up decorations and leave a birthday cake to present later. The staff reassured me not to worry and said they would take care of everything. The booth we had reserved looked incredible with a banner, balloons, and confetti on the table. My daughter was amazed when she walked in, and I was truly grateful. I highly recommend this restaurant for their exceptional customer service."

"I love this coffee house on Goodge Street in Central London! Coffee at Black Sheep is delicious. The musical selection is hip. But the best of all is the wonderful staff. I always feel welcomed. Service is extraordinary. Mornings often find a group of thespians enthusiastically discussing theater on their way to classes down the street at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts, Local shopkeepers discuss business, regulars drop in for a cup of java on the way to work. The buzz is enlivening. Relaxing. Welcoming. There are a lot of coffee shops in the neighborhood. This one is my favorite."

"I enjoyed a delightful and tasty pre-theater dinner. The food was delicious, although the portions were a bit on the smaller side—except for the enormous sorbet, which was a fantastic treat. Overall, it was good value with a very pleasant atmosphere and excellent service."

"Old English hotel vibe, white table cloths, attentive though ultimately suffocating service. Atmosphere a bit painful, quiet, stuffy, uncomfortable. Appetizers were great, steak was dreadful. Thin and badly cooked. I sent it back and got a duplicate of the poor quality. They graciously comped it and we made a hasty exit vowing never to return."

"I 've been here a few times. It 's a nice enough pub, with a good range of ales. The staff are friendly enough, and the drinks are decently priced. It 's always quite busy and popular among the locals. But I had a bit of a frustrating experience the other day. Me and a friend of mine were walking my dog. It began to rain so we decided to grab a drink somewhere whilst it settled down. We were near the grapes, so I whipped out my phone and googled whether dogs were allowed in the pub. Online it says a child and dog friendly pub... and that dogs [are] allowed inside . I thought brilliant, me and my mate can grab a quick pint whilst we wait for the rain to stop. We go in the pub. Nobody says a word or bats an eye lid. We buy our drinks and go to sit down. As soon as we sit down, the landlady comes over, and, very politely, says dogs are not allowed in the pub. I have no problem with this. A lot of pubs don 't allow dogs in because they can be noisy, dirty, and some people just don 't like dogs. It 's totally fair enough. But it was frustrating because it meant we then had to stand outside in the rain and the cold. The information online is clearly out of date and needs changing. I just thought I 'd do a review to give other dog walkers a heads up, and make the owners aware that the online information is incorrect. The pub itself though is nice enough though. I 'll definitely go again but next time I 'll have to leave the dog at home."

"I typically avoid restaurants that are labeled as gastro, preferring pubs to be more traditional and restaurants to be separate entities. However, The Mark Cross Inn has merged the two, functioning more as a restaurant these days. Despite my initial reservations, I was pleasantly surprised by the tasty food and enjoyable dining experience I had with a group of 8. The service was friendly, the atmosphere was family-friendly and relaxed. Some of the dishes were served in a quirky manner, such as chips in small frying baskets, which I found charming but others in my party found unnecessary. Main dishes ranged from £10-£20, with options like steak burgers and battered cod being more budget-friendly. Overall, I had a lovely meal and would recommend The Mark Cross Inn for a casual lunch or family meal."

"We used a voucher from Travelzoo for this restaurant. The waitress seemed unhappy from the moment we arrived. She did not inquire about any dietary restrictions, and if I hadn't asked, we would have received the default meal. It would have been more beneficial if she had explained what to expect from the dining experience."

"Service without a smile. Purchased a takeaway at the cost of £32.50. Keema curry, Tikka masala curry, pilau rice, 6 chapatti, Samosa starter and pakora starter. The tikka masala had ONLY 5 PIECES of small chicken in it. ONLY 3 mini supermarket samosas in the portion. ONLY 5 pakora. How do they work out there portion sizes???? NO complimentary poppadoms, The first and LAST visit."

"I booked a table for 7 people at 7pm online. I received instant online confirmation as well as an email to confirm our booking. When we arrived the staff said they had no record of the booking. The restaurant was only half full so they were able to seat us anyway. It was a Sunday and we had primarily chosen the venue as their Sunday roast sounded good and was served until 9pm. As we sat down we were told they had run out of Yorkshire puddings. Within 10 minutes they came and took the Sunday menu away and said it was now unavailable but we could still order from the standard menu. My mother in law asked if it was possible to swap chips for mashed potatoes with the pie and was told no, the mashed potato portions were already allocated to other meals. At this point we left. The staff did try and seemed sympathetic but were annoyed when we left as they had poured out a couple of the drinks order. The restaurant looked like a good place it was a nice setting but the menu was expensive and other diners could be heard complaining they had been waiting a long time even though they weren't busy. We were understandably really disappointed with the whole experience."

"quality of marketing for food delivery. drive to north of rustest, direction docks, they will see a series of humble hangars. go through the door of the next, the powder magazine and prepare to be woven. it has a lounge feeling, with enhanced brightness and generous support of comfortable seating. there is a hip-touch to its mix of old and new inner-queues. service is professional, precise and perceptible. eating is exciting, an excellent mix of traditional and modern cuisine that influenced British culture. the food proportions are enormous and the price is perfect. powder magazine is a place to relax and socialize at the weekend, more than a full culinary experience. So they come and take a friend or 3, take a few menus, enjoy."

"Lovely restaurant overlooking the bar, nice outside seating if weather permits. Service was friendly and attentive. Had mussels with sea vegetables to start which was good but very salty, maybe soak the sea vegetables to expel some salt. Monkfish was excellent and cooked, seasoned perfectly. No room for dessert so ordered a macchiato coffee but received a cappuccino. Good wine list and reasonably priced, **** Mary could have been better as it lacked spice and served with too much ice making it watery."

"Unfortunately the Sunday menu has shrunk yet again only choice of beef or pork now if wanting a roast lunch, Food arrived in a timely manner but lukewarm. Terrible issue with flies not enjoyable having to keep swatting them away from Food and drinks. Service charge added to bill ...why , it should be customers choice to tip, not to be made to feel uncomfortable if you don't Want to. Tipping used to be because it was poorly paid, minimum wage changed that, I did ask if the servers got the tip and they do and the server said they work hard so deserve it, ummm they are being paid to work hard. Seems to have had a big change of staff, unfortunately put of going again."
