"My partner and I visited Spaghetti Tree with another couple, and we were seated by the window without a reservation. We ordered some beers and waited for our friends to arrive. After about 15 minutes, they came and ordered a bottle of red wine, along with some olives and a bread basket. We started enjoying our drinks and food when, unexpectedly, a staff member approached my partner and asked her to remove her baseball cap. Confused, my partner questioned why we were only being informed of this now, especially since no one mentioned it when we entered. Had we known, we would have opted to go to the pub next door instead. It felt unfair, especially since we had communicated that we were a group of four and were seated in a prominent spot. Reluctantly, my partner removed her cap, feeling uncomfortable for the rest of the evening because she hadn’t styled her hair as she would have preferred. The staff then offered us the option to either move to a less desirable table at the back of the restaurant, where no other patrons were seated, or stay at the window if she removed her hat. It was disappointing to see that there were only three tables occupied in the entire restaurant. Unfortunately, the food didn’t meet our expectations either. Given this experience, it's unlikely that we will return. We've dined here before, but after this visit, we certainly won’t be coming back."

"the inhabitants of chelsea and fulham can appreciate themselves fortunate, not only for the obvious reasons (it is one of the most prosperous against in london, but also because the imperial recently opened at the western end of the king’s road! Previously a pub, known as the imperial arms, is now a modern restaurant in a stunning Victorian building that was completely renovated by the owners alan turtill and kate macwhirter. I was kindly invited to check the special brunch menu of the restaurant so I was there a few weeks ago with my man. we took the overground of clapham junction for just one stop to the imperial wharf and went to the restaurant less than ten minutes. we were greeted by the beautiful front of the house staff who took away our moms and accompanied us to a table on the back of the restaurant. the room swarmed in the sunlight that came through from the window wall, while before us the open kitchen with the chefs was at work. the imperial is beautiful with a lot of love for detail furnished: the table top with colorful small pots salt and pfeffer; the copper lamps above the kitchen bar; the color scheme with small yellow and blue details repeated here and there; and my favorites aesop hand wash in the toilets! we decided to order two glasses of prosecco to celebrate the discovery of this beautiful place and awake our appetite! the new brunch menu of the chef cook tom hope contains the benefits of coriander chilli corn fritters with fender and bacon; crushed avocado lemon, tomato grilled halloumi on sourdough and egg white omelette, spring onion herbs but we decided to taste two classics: the full english breakfast and the eggs benedict. I loved how the dishes were presented and the beautiful colors of eating against the blue tellers. my full english with rührei, speck, sausage, mushroom, black pudding, tomaten and roasted brot was delicious! each element was tasty without exaggerating the other. we treated ourselves dessert, but only one who shared us, as we were already full of breakfast. the brotpudding was delicious! it was the second time I had one in my whole life, so don't count me as expert, but it was really nice. one of the owners, kite, was in the restaurant to ensure that everything went smoothly and even the tables served. I had the chance to thank her for the invitation and tell her I had a great time. she was happy to know that I loved eating and invited us to stay for a Sunday! I could see that beautiful roasts come from the kitchen and it was really hard to resist the temptation. but there will be another time, sure!"

"I visited pub and grill bar in other village hotels, but that was my first visit. to say I was disappointed, is an understatement. I booked well in advance for table. when I arrived, no table was booked, even if one of the employees brought my reservation on his tablet and I had previously confirmed my reservation. I was told to find one table and sit there. as they want, it was very busy because of football and rugby. After we wait for table to become available, we have settled. After waiting for someone to come to us (what they did not) I went to cash and explained that we included our meal in our stay and which menu we could use. I was told that they always used and one was pointed to me. we choose our eating and patiently waited at the bar for 15 minutes, just to say that we had the wrong menu it was a set menu from which we had to choose. I went back to my party of 6 and asked her to choose again. back to the bar for another 15 minutes waiting and ordered our food. after a 35-minute waiting period, our starters came out. After we had waited five minutes for my starter who was humous, we ate. our main meal began minus the cheese on our burgers, for which we paid extra. my daughter waited for her 10 minutes after we got ours. when we ask where her meal was, we were told that we were sorry we forgot to get out. when she got her steak, they had forgotten the pfeffer sauce. ! after completing our main course 2 of my party had paid for dessert, it was obvious to wait after another 20-minute, it was not appearing. until now it was 10.45 we had our table for 8 o'clock booked. when I approached a worker, no apology or explanation was offered about the series of failures. we had booked a night to meet the family. to celebrate the 30th birthday of my daughter. that has proved to be a sniff. I'm sure they can understand why my party of 6 was so disappointed."

"Been going here since it opened and always felt it well priced, imaginative food and good ingredients. Last night it could only claim to be one of the three. The flavour of the scallops in my starter was killed stone dead by the spicyness of...the XO sauce which was good in itself, but the scallops belonged nowhere near it. My main of fish cakes and prawns was a disaster due to the poor quality of the ingredients. My hake a grey colour and mushy, not the firm white glistening piece of fish I would expect for a dish. The prawns also soft and mushy, clearly not fresh. The fish cakes were in fact potato croquettes fish in these was nonexistent. My dining partners dish of lamb was dry and as a slo cooked piece of meat one would expect the opposite. I suspect not freshly made for it to eventually dry out like that. His gnocchi hard from being re heated and fried, the element of mint was there but fading. Service was average as our table piled up with empty glasses and an empty water bottle I had to pile them to the side to make it obvious. White and rose wines are chilled to death. Its a rather annoying trait that they swirl ice in each glass to make it cold then pour refrigerated wine into it. A Viognier I ordered was barely recognisable. The rose I suspect oxidised by living a long lonely life in the fridge. It was drinkable though. Trip advisor need to update prices here. Starters are and mains start at for chicken and for veggie option but most with fish and chips Gone is the early bird menu."

"I had high expectations going into Carluccio's, as it's in a wonderful location and is a beautiful, ambient restaurant. Myself and my S.O went on a Thursday night, and there were only a few other couples in there, making it very quiet and the service on point. Our waiter was, however, hard to understand because he maintained a very low speaking volume which came across as a nuisance. I didn't think there was a huge amount of choice on the menu, but we still managed to pick out things we liked. I treated myself to the Summer Garden soft drink (apple, elderflower, and mint lemonade), and it was delicious. Like a softail Mojito, very refreshing and zingy! The food, I must say, was pretty disappointing. My Sicilian Arancini starter (fried rice balls stuffed with mozzarella) just tasted odd. There's no real way to describe it, the flavours and textures weren't marrying, it was bland but also left a bitter aftertaste. Very strange, give this one a miss. For mains, my S.O's beef ragu was delicious! He wasn't fond of the al dente linguine but I thought it was perfect. I had the seafood linguine, a dish I've had at other places, and by comparison it was a little lacking. The shellfish were cooked to perfection and it was a great size serving, but again the overall flavour was bland. I would be willing to give Carluccio's as a whole another chance in future, but will be trying different dishes the next time around."
