"Service was appalling, especially as the restaurant was not even half full on a Saturday night. Staff were not attentive and were just standing around chatting to each other, it took over 20 minutes to ask if we wanted a drink and then longer for them to bring it out leaving the wine on the side to get warm. We were not asked if we were happy with the food or if everything was ok. Food was mediocre tasted like it came out of a jar would not have put the price tag on the food we had. Would not recommend to anyone and will never be coming back."

Lovely food at a good price set lunch menu with good vegetarian options available . Unfortunately serving staff were very inattentive considering we were one of only 2 tables for lunch and there were ample staff visible. Once prompted, the staff were pleasant.

I wish I’d know this restaurant is actually in a hotel. Quite disappointed when the taxi dropped us off. Felt like we were eating in the lobby. Food was good and nice to have a pool table for the children but in a random part of town and just not what we were hoping for.

We love Folio! The turkey meal was disappointing in that it was dry didn’t have a fresh taste and wasn’t what I’d expect for a “festive” experience. The drink menu is smaller than it once was, and the delivery of the drinks was not very timely. However, the overall experience was lovely as always.

Really lovely menus with lots of choice for vegan. Food was presented beautifully. The only disappointment was the desserts (chocolate brownie vegan and non vegan) which took a long time to arrive and were not up to the standard of the rest of the meal. That said, the setting and service were all great so all in all it was a very enjoyable meal.

This is a lovely place with a good choice and fabulous cocktails. I was with a friend who is allergic to eggs, but otherwise likes non vegan food and she found the choice a bit limited, but the staff were accommodating and in the end she went with 2 starters, which was lovely. It’s not a cheap night out, but that wasn’t what we were after. Service was great.

we loved our evening in folio. eating was delicious with a good choice of vegan options. the restaurant is beautifully decorated. the only problems for us were the non-existent signs outside (we did not know that the restaurant was in a hotel with another name and so we were too late) and the fact that our seats and tables were very low, which made it difficult to eat comfortably.
