"I initially made a reservation through Open Table, but when I arrived, they had no record of my booking! As a result, there was no table available for the four of us, and we had to wait for one to open up. However, they offered us a drink as a goodwill gesture. The food was decent, but nothing extraordinary, and I found it to be a bit overpriced for what we received. On the positive side, the staff was very friendly, which improved the experience somewhat."

"We randomly decided to pop in for some food after some Christmas shopping and wow I'm so glad we did. It was the first time we'd eaten at a Chiquito restaurant and were spoilt for choice as it all sounded so good. We decided to go for one of the sharing platters so we could try a few different things. Service was great, we weren't waiting around long at all and the food was incredible. There were two mini burritos which were packed with the filling, so good! Three pulled pork tacos, even better! And four chicken quesadillas... to die for! Oh and a pot each of sour cream and salsa. Everything was so flavoursome and filled us up nicely. Even though I was struggling with the last couple of bits I could not stop eating. I'm now thinking of an excuse to go back again!"

"It was all a bit rubbish really.!Very disappointing. A costly and unpleasant experience. We ordered a delivery through the McDonalds app. Part of he order was wrong; a burger who was supposed to have no mustard, onions or gherkins on it had all. Three. You can’t just scrape it off and eat it because it leaves a residue that makes it taste unpleasant to those who don’t like these things that burger was inedible and we couldn’t swap because both burgers were the same. The hot and cold drinks were packed side by side in the same bag compromising the temperature of both drinks. All the food was stone cold and judging by the speed at which the delivery arrived and the temperature of the food; I would guess it was probably prepared in advance of orders rather than freshly to order. Customer services were unhelpful and want to pass responsibility for their failing on to Uber. They said if we wanted a refund we would have to take it up with Uber since they were the delivery service and they only refund click and collect at Customer services. However you can’t blame the Uber driver who arrived before the appointed time for mistakes on the order and for food which should have arrived hot given the time frame and the insulated carton he used to bring it. Given the huge mark- up and profit on takeaway food; and the size of McDonald’s as a company; I expected better : from the food, from the restaurant and from customer services ."

"my eating was great, the starter was nothing special, but the steak was amazingly soft without chew or fat bits, even if the garnels were a bit burned, so I would say it was a great meal. However, the person I had ordered the same got quite nothing but fat and chewing bits with her steak, so I would say that it is a bit of a hit and miss when it comes to the quality of the food here. but the staff was very friendly and understanding. they even gave us a ticket for a free meal at the next visit and free desserts. so everything in all cannot try too much in any case at least."

"Visited Mews Brasserie for the first time for Sunday lunch which was most enjoyable and good value. The only down side to the meal was that cauliflower cheese isn't on the menu. The restaurant has cauliflower and naturally cheese but despite our request it wasn't possible to amalgamate the 2. This isn't a complaint as I understand that kitchen's are under pressure during service but by going that extra step would have turned the experience into a 5 out of 5 rather than a 4. The service was freindly, unhurried and efficient and there is a good selection of wines reasonably priced given the location. I would definitely return to sample the A La Carte menu."

"Ordered 2 footlongs ones burnt to a crisp !! Other full of salad and barley Any meat at all the guy serving me couldn't even speak English or understand it I genuinely had to shout at him after he attempted to put garlic oil on my sub rather then gherkins I asked for 4 times! Only stopping when I raised my voice then the assistant came over and said he's training 3 or 4 times ... like it was all my fault the memebr of staff couldnt understand me ! Hmm training on making a sub or the language? Sort it out subway won't be going back ."

"Can't fault the food at the Noose, always delicious and good value for money. Unfortunately the service tonight put a real downer on our visit. Despite being one of only 2 tables eating in the whole place we were left sitting waiting for service on multiple occasions. No menus for around 30 minutes when we arrived, our order wasn't put through to kitchen once we placed it although the staff were apologetic for that. Despite asking for the dessert menu no one came back to see if we actually wanted to order or came back with the water we'd requested, meanwhile the staff were having a laugh behind the bar. Such a shame as we've been to the Noose a lot in the past and recommended to friends and family but not sure we'll be rushing back after our latest experience."

"My visit here was a total shambles. Before I asked to only have one waitress serving us, I ordered a drink, one waiter took the order, another delivered it and when I asked to pay the bill, another waiter appeared asking if I would like to pay the bill. When I said I had already asked for the bill, yet another waiter appeared to once again ask if I wanted to pay the bill. Please can someone get the waiters to talk to each other to avoid this constant barrage of people asking for information they already had. During this process our table host kept on coming over to ask if everything was OK, which clearly it wasn't and then didn't really listen to our answer, he just laughed. Then he kept on standing watching the football match directly in my way as if we weren't there The food was ok, ribs were poor, the salt and pepper squid had raw cayenne on the outside which was unpleasant and the chicken wings by all accounts were fine On a visit to the loo, there was no loo paper and no soap in any of the dispensers Overall the feel is that management are out of their depth and someone needs to take charge to ensure things run smoothly sooner rather than later. If you are going for a drink and to watch the sport then it could be a decent venue if they sort the leaderless waitering team out, but there are much better sports bars in London based on my recent experience."

"This is the second time I've been here and both times have been brilliant! Greeted at the door with a friendly smile and shown to our table with a smile on his face. Our waiter came to take our order and was also very friendly and polite throughout the whole lunch. Both times I've been here staff have been incredibly friendly, they are a credit to the restaurant! Our food came promptly and was delicious! The portions are a lot more generous than they look and we all left feeling very full and satisfied. Vouchercloud do a 20% off mains voucher on certain days which was valid on a Sunday so got £8 off the bill. Would definitely recommend and will definitely be returning!"

"We ate at this Chiquitos for the first time. I am Coeliac and have to be very careful that there is no cross contamination in my gluten free food. We were given a gluten free menu on arrival. Our waitress Sam was absolutely amazing and...did everything she possibly could to ensure that my meal was totally gluten free with no cross contamination, even checking my food and drinks choices against the iPad menu to be absolutely certain it is safe and personally washing my cutlery again before giving it to me to ensure it hadn’t accidentally come into contact with any gluten. The food was really good and we will definitely be back again soon. I wish that every restaurant was as careful and helpful as Sam was at Chiquitos."

"So from the outside it looks like nothing special, we walked inside and got told we can sit anywhere thats amazing in its self then I had the oreo milkshake tasted amazing just like oreos, then my starter I had jalapeños and cheese bon bons, they had a crisp shatter to the batter the cheese oooses out in to your mouth and then you feel the warm sensation of the jalapeños in your mouth amazing, my main was empire burger that consisted of 3 quarter pounders 3 cheeses coldslaw pulled pork and a fried egg, my side was stealth chips that I think had camermelised onions and garlic sauce bacon, cheese and herbs 5 out of 5 stars 100% recommend this place."

"I went on Friday night for the first time in almost two years with my usual co-administrators to the king's." I was quite overwhelmed to find the atmosphere intact, everyone relaxed, no mandat nonsense, just do what a pub is to get a table. Relax down and with a drink. to go to a bar and not speak through a plastic screen. the personal was so inviting even after so much time! I really felt humble, these people here really invest in their customers. munchables were the usual what they see is what they get and very satiating standard, delivered fast and hot. I am so glad to be back and hope to visit the king again as regularly as we have done before."

"I'm a bit obsessed with the hot wings there. beautiful place to visit during the week, put points in plus as I can work from laptop while I have a coffee. nice for an evening dinner on the earth with family, good children menu. livelier at the weekend, but they have a dj on and 2-4-1 on cocktails that is a plus. beer garden is beautiful when it is warm, but there are protected areas when it rains. not my thing, but the other half appreciates the big screens to watch the football. the employees work hard and are always helpful, never had a problem."

"Me and my friends went today (11.08.18 around 6pm)to have a nice dinner. The food was absolutely delicious and ladies serving us on the day were really nice and helpful, especially one lady that we think was from Spain. Unfortunately the woman dealing with front of the restaurant was extremely unhelpful and rude. We waited for about 15min in front to be seated, them we thought that maybe we can just sit down, but we did ask a waitress if we can and she told us that we need to wait for the lady dealing with seats. I went there and said we we can get a seat for 3 people?, she asked do we have a reservation? I said that no and do we need one. She answered that it 's Saturday and we need a reservation. I got bit annoyed, looked around and said that they many empty seats, also asked her should we leave. She didn 't have the decency to look me in the eyes and answered since we already sat down, we can stay . This is highly rude and unprofessional customer service. I do know that this can be a hard and stressful job, but we all have a job and we need to deal with many difficult situations. I do know that the front lady is Polish, I am as well so I do understand the this she was saying. Whoever is a manager or owner should train the stuff how to treat the customers."

"Oh, what a day we had at The White House for my auntie’s 88th! It was pure magic, right from the off. The team there couldn’t have been more welcoming, making us all feel right at home in the heart of Scotland. Now, let’s gab about the food it was out of this world! We started with gluten free fish n chips, and let me tell you, it was as good as any chippy by the sea – crispy, golden, and just packed with flavor. The venison steak and beef short rib? Cooked just how you’d want them, tender and full of taste. The gluten free burgers were a hit too, so juicy and well seasoned. For pudding, we had these scoops of ice cream, smooth as you like, and an apple crunch cheesecake that was simply to die for. But it was our server, Anastasia, who really made our day. "Went in for lunch (I go to the university and my friends go to the college) and had great service from the bartender/server. However while two of our party received their food quickly, it took over 35 minutes for myself and another to receive our food (I ordered a club sub). We were told this was because we ordered on the app and another large table walked in that took priority. I don’t particularly believe that is true but I could see that the server was very busy and I wonder if the kitchen and management not rotaing enough staff was the problem here."

"I'm afraid to say I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone , was left completely fuming with the service , the food and the overall approach by the staff at cafe football!! The so called manager Gabrielle or whatever her name is was rude from start to finish we booked our table for the Fa cup final but was told he had under two hours to eat and leave and couldn't extend our stay , the waiters were clueless and didn't understand why we wanted drinks after being seated for half hour im pretty sure it's human rights to be able to order a drink in a so called restaurant , the starters were below par and questionable , the Mains we ordered weren't what we asked for and when asking the so called manager why she couldn't be bothered to answer our questions , so I'm afraid to say after visiting cafe football before I wouldn't come back even if you paid me disgusting and I will be getting in touch with trading standards as we found dirty cuttery and glasses on our table and not even a sorry from staff very little care from all at cafe football!!! "Well you asked ……. So despite a booking for 1pm given with deposits and a pre order for a festive menu We arrived early for drinks and told that the booking was for 11.30 ? by Adrian and that he had bought staff in early to cater for us we explained it was definitely a 1pm meal we had asked for. By 1.20 starters arrived but orders were awry and no toasted bread with the terrine (which was gorgeous) It was 2pm before the mains arrived but two customers were then informed their meals had been dropped (accidents can happen) however when their Salmon meals arrived 20 minutes later it was a quite underwhelming meal served. Lumpy Sauce no roasted carrots and a small portion of salmon and a small portion of beans no check back was given on the meal to ask why. Desserts was served but no spoons for one table and when requested again Adrian told us to collect them from another table. Finally it was discovered we were a dessert light and despite asking for it again was told another diner had accepted the missing dessert. So we just said OK we would forget and the bill would be altered. Sorry to report the mince pie size was minuscule with the size of the cream it was served with. Must say folks that had the Turkey Dinner (majority) had great reviews on their food and portion sizes. The two female waiting staff were brilliant and we could tell it had seemed like a lunchtime which had caused problems however the rest of the pub was not busy and they did their very best. This was a once a year Festive affair for 20 folks which I’m sorry to say was spoilt by poor Customer Service and Food/Menu problems which could have been resolved on the day by Adrian just talking to us in an acceptable manner instead he really caused an atmosphere."

"Scarborough flyer has always been one of our family’s favourite bars in Scarborough. Staff are always ‘top class’ and very helpful and obliging. However, we will never return to the pub due to their door staff who are complete and utter bullies! I witnessed a lovely looking family who I feel was targeted due to one of the females having a black child with her and her family. The door staff were aggressive, and trying to snatch a drink out of a young females hands in the group and telling them to leave. We were astounded by this behaviour because they had just arrived, and we were sat next to them and was unable to see any reason for the door staffs behaviour. Apparently, it was due to the young boy wearing trackies I must say the young boy was dressed very smartly) and the doorman said it was not allowed, however, there were no signs stating you could not wear track suit bottoms after a certain time this was 8pm in the evening. We personally believe they were being racist towards what appeared to be a very nice family. The family stated they were going to take the matter further and I offered my number to them if they needed a witness regarding the hostility showed by the bouncers!"
