"The meal was excellent. The restaurant was busy, although the bouncer felt it was too crowded. The food was delicious. It is a typical pub with a cozy atmosphere. If you enjoy that style, you will love it. The only downside was the restroom, which could use some refreshing. However, considering they have people coming in from the street to use it, I can understand why they don't put much effort into it."

"Unfortunately it was not an enjoyable experience. The seats and tables were too close together, people had their shopping bags on the sofa so there wasn’t any room to move. It felt like we were eating with everyone else in the restaurant. Service was ok, although we had to ask for tap water and the bill twice. The food wasn’t up to much. The halloumi and feta pide was burnt with hardly any topping. The two tables next to us also complained that the food wasn’t great. It’s only that we had a buy one get one free voucher otherwise I would have refused to pay for the pide. Such a shame as I have visited the spitalfield giraffe branch and had no problems there."

"The star rating would be zero if I was able to award. Booked Liverpool Bougee months ago for a 50th birthday, had a 4 hr round trip, tried to call them to discuss allergies for one of the party with no one answering the phone. Saturday arrived and managed to get through to another branch only to find out Liverpool branch was closed. Bougee once again demonstrates contempt for its customers. Absolutely disgusted with this restaurant and will not be booking it again. Would have only taken a phonecall to tell prebooked customers of the closure. Zero stars from me."

"Hi. I've been with my wife to both branches many times. This time I was taking a friend. I booked for 8.15pm. Before we were seated or looked at the menu, we were told we needed to order, as the kitchen was closing. Once seated, another waiter told us we needed to order everything we wanted to consume, as the kitchen was closing imminently. As soon as the lovely food was brought to the told, we were given the bill and told to pay, as the till was closing! Soon after 9.30pm (before 9.45pm can't remember exactly , we were told the restaurant was closing and time to leave! I'd recommend the food, but warn them about the service ;"

"We booked to go here for my sister's birthday. They called an hour before the booking to let us know that their bar tenders hadn't come into work and therefore they couldn't do the cocktails. I asked about their bottled drinks and mixers and they said they will still be served, just not the cocktails. When we arrived we were waiting for a minute or two before a host arrived to seat us. When we were seated we waited about 5 10 minutes before a waitress came to take our order we hadn't even been given the menu yet. Afterwards we asked if we could have the bottomless bubbles and we were told we couldn't have that option because of the shortage of bar staff but we were welcome to buy prosecco. I didn't really understand why, and also why we hadn't been told that before, even though I had asked about the drinks. Anyway, the food came, some of the order was wrong, and the food was okay but not worth the price. It was really quiet so no atmosphere at all. Just all round disappointing. Quite nice for some pictures, but that's about it. I doubt we'll return."

"We had a disappointing experience at Firejacks as they didn't receive our reservation made through OpenTable, which didn’t seem to be compatible with their PC system. This was not a great start to our visit. We found the prices to be quite high, especially since many extras come at an additional cost. While the food was decent, we didn't feel it justified the price. Additionally, the service was very slow. Overall, we won't be returning."

"It was a busy Friday evening but we found service to be fairly speedy. The waitress who looked after us was lovely with a winning smile. I had the falafel burger with sweet potato fries, I found it delicious. I am a vegetarian and it would be nice to have a bit more veggie choice on the menu? The Clements cocktail were lovely. Just one tiny criticism was we found the music a tad loud but then being of the older generation we realise it may just be an 'age ' thing. All in all we felt very well cared for and the bill was very reasonable."

"where do I start? I was here for lunch and cocktails and eating and service was wonderful. the evaluation I leave is for the wine tasting experience. once in the private sector, our leader was dyan, who was amazing, friendly and very knowledgeable. he explained the weeping, regions that they are perfect and accompanying means of life. the weeping and eating that they paired were absolutely extraordinary. the perfect time between curs and total we had a brilliant pleasant experience all for a reasonable price. I would recommend basilikum and rob for lunch or dinner or wine tasting, as I have been here a few times, I can't blame anyway. if you want a free time with great eating and fantastic staff, here is your place. really authentic and absolutely fabulous! also one of the only places in the opposite that make a classic daiquiri. the cocktails were very good."

"When I ordered, I mentioned the 50% discount that was supposed to apply, and the server assured me it would be honored. I placed my order, and while the eckribs were enjoyable, the krabbenburger had an unappealing texture similar to cottage cheese. The strawberry cocktails were bland and tasteless. In fact, I didn’t eat the krabbenburger at all because we were waiting for someone to check on us, but nobody came. When the bill arrived, I brought up the issue with the krabbenburger, and the server removed it from the total. However, as we paid the bill, I noticed that the 50% discount had not been applied. I pointed out their mistake, but they said there was nothing they could do and just stared at me, waiting for me to leave. I will not be returning or recommending this restaurant."

"The food at this restaurant is amazing, with a great selection of pizzas that my kids loved. The crab linguine was absolutely delicious. I highly recommend trying the sticky toffee pudding for dessert. The service was top-notch, and we had a wonderful dining experience overall. "We weren't sure what to expect at Firejacks, but what we got was absolutely outstanding. The girlfriend and I managed to get a table during a very busy period on Saturday evening post a cinema screening, and were served by a very warm and friendly waitress who ensured we had a lovely dining experience. We had two great starters and main meals that appealed to both a BBQ and Spice lover and a slightly tamer palette, and having a huge selection of sauces available to compliment the meal was even better. The cocktails and beer selection were also great and rounded off a lovely Saturday evening out."

"went for a weekend walk around wimbledon common, but needed a bit susceptibility on the way. I was recommended to spend the hand in hand or the fox grapes when I was ready to spend a little more. Finally, the fox grapes were the one we took (both literally and metaphorically). it was a bit more pricier than normal, but eating was a quality to fit. I chose the squid and triple boiled chips. the squid was perfectly broken, and while the three-fold boiled chips were not as good as others I tasted, the muddy heaps were excellent. the positive noise from the other side of the table suggested that the burger was also quite good!"

"since over 15 years sophies steakhouse visited and since the summer it was my first time. I went past the last weeks often to visit during the tireless veganuary, so I jumped on the opportunity to have a relaxed dinner there...with a friend on a Tuesday night. the dinner itself was the usual quality ingredients simple things made very good and fair value for the location as expected. I was disappointed, however, that I was at the reception of the restaurant for approx. 5 minutes were allowed to stand (besides a board that has asked customers to wait) where I was ignored, although I was passed on several times by the employees without gruß or recognition. it seems quite unnecessary that customers (also with reservations) on this wise on a Tuesday night around 19:30 clock, if there is a bar area on the immediate left side of the at the beginning that I quite comfortable my time in, until someone around me to put around me and safe enough, a small waiting snake formed behind us through the time we finally sit, although there is a series of open tables. my words very carefully to choose, I told the waiter (the manager) when he put us that as “a courteous world of advice” when they let customers wait at the entrance, they should be more of an effort to welcome them immediately, but this seemed to be taken as a personal affront and I was accused that it was quite hysterical, “he was being back in the moment when I met him during this already negotiated exchange we were asked twice (at this point) if we wanted to proceed with our booking by the waiter who obviously had decided that he would rather leave the partially empty restaurant. Despite every attempt to go, I didn't want my friend embarrassing, who visited the restaurant more regularly from late, so we tried to make the best of an otherwise insignificant dinner. within spores of playing the sacrifice, the waiter could explain that he was very stressed, as they were particularly short workers (the experience of my friend also from a previous visit) and fair to him seemed to be that he had a large area on his own. Of course, I have addressed any sympathy, and it is a management problem that must be solved especially for that of human, but why not just with an excuse or even only a recognition of feedback received, instead of expressing themselves and making absurd accusations if it receives polite and constructive feedback? would the device rather not mention a bad customer experience and decide to simply go into reasonable feedback? to his credit, the rest of the service was professional, but it is hard to do such a basic misunderstanding of the customer service in a time when they think restaurants should do everything in their power to customers again welcome after the break-up of the last 18 months. the whole episode is pretty bad at sophies I'm sorry to say and I won't be back in a hurry."

"The General Manager was very accommodating and took the initiative when it took us 30 minutes to be served our drinks. Unfortunately, the waiter seemed focused on only a few tables and didn't take our order in a timely manner. "we visited on a Saturday evening, introduced a table and could still go directly. not as busy as before. we both ordered the smoked salmon. they were very tasty, though very small and were eaten in 3 minutes. for the net I ordered the house made bark meat burger. it was very delicious and fresh. the only light weight was that the veg in the burger was so cold, almost ice cold that it made the burger itself cold. my wife ordered the garlic of stuffed chicken. again this was really delicious, but her only complaining was that it was in what looked and tasted like an Italian red sauce, not what was described on the menu. for desserts I ordered the cheeseboard that was really nice with a good selection and high quality cheese. my wife ordered the lemon carbcake they really enjoyed. we had a glass of wine and some coffee. really good service and beautiful atmosphere. the total price was £85, which I think is a fine culinary experience."

"We dined at the MC Cafe Bar Grill Manchester, good selection of meals. Although they have discontued the Mixed Grill that I had had on a previous visit. As it was lunch my husband had the chicken burger, which looked nice and he liked the chips. I had salmon en crout, but did not like the spinich it came with, the salmon was well cooked, it was accompanied by seasonal vegitables and new potatoes. Sevice on the slow side in fact we waited nearly an hour for our meal. But they were very busy."

"This was for 2 family members birthdays which we booked. When the food took an hour to arrive and we asked where it was we were told by the waiter that it wouldn’t be long but they were struggling as everyone in the restaurant arrived at same time and they were busy. No apology was offered. Mine and my partners food was fine but the two steaks were disgraceful. Both ordered medium rare and were medium/medium well at a push. They were completely different sizes in thickness and one was completely inedible as it was all fat/gristle. We asked another member of staff for the steaks to be taken off of the bill which they did and they came round with 5 shots (still no apology) however as the service and attitude was poor we didn’t even stay for dessert which is a shame given it was for birthdays."

"Yalla Yalla is the cutest little Lebanese restaurant in the Soho district in Central London. A hole in the wall size restaurant, which can just about seat 10 people, but serving real awesome, authentic Lebanese food in a simple and cute presentation. The staff at this place is particularly sweet and friendly. Really feels like you are sitting in a Lebanese friend’s kitchen and having a meal cooked by his/her, mom. They have a concise menu with ample vegetarian options, which is great. Everything on their menu tastes great and you can feel the freshness. They are fairly priced for the quality of the food offered. Would definitely recommend this little eatery if all you looking for is great food and an authentic experience without a fuss of fancy ambience, etc."
