"Although most chain restaurants serve okay food, I was disappointed by the quality of the food served here. The restaurant itself is a good size, and being in a part of five we were seated upstairs. There were not many appetizing vegetarian dishes on the menu for a reasonable price so I decided to settle on penne in a garlic sauce. The portion size was decent but my food was bland, and greasy. Could not taste any flavours at all! It was not worth it's price which was around The food was not that great and I would definately not go back again."

"Ok, despite too much toasted cheese on the cannelloni, and no tomatoes on the veal ragu for the pappardelle, and the crab ravioli also needing a scotch of tomatoes to complement the fish and ink pillows, the place was fun, brightly lit, with walls full of terrific murals of all the best Italian actors and musicians from the past 50 years. Great memories of Toto, Alberto soldi, claudia cardinale, Sophia Loren, Anna magnanimous, pavarotti, andrea bocelli, and so many more. Just tell them to add some tomato to the ragu!"

"we have never set ourselves right, because the button movement on the reservation leads them to the spaghetti house on the goodge street, not to the restaurant on the sicilian avenue. the goodge street restaurant could not accommodate us (and were very rude) and we had no time to make it into the other restaurant, because of a theatre booking. we tried to ring, but they didn't pick up! eating and ambiente may be great, but their phone, email and communication skills are appalling. a nice pub that made a nice cake. not the pasta we had hoped for!"

"Went here randomly and did not regret it. It was empty when we arrived but started filling up when we were in there. We were initially apprehensive but it did not disappoint. I had the garlic mushrooms to start and they are probably the best garlic mushrooms I have even had!!! Our server was lovely (her name escapes me! but Ronnie, the manager, is a top guy. These guys deserve every success. Highly recommended."

"First time at the restaurant. We had cancelled our original reservation. The restaurant reached to ask why. I was impressed by that personal customer service so we booked for another night. We had the Burrata and ‘Nduja Topped Foccacia, the Lasagna and their signature dish, Penne Giardiniera. My husband and I both thought those dishes were average and probably wouldn’t order them if we go back. There are many other interesting dishes we would try though. The service is excellent and we hat was very nice. Some of their baked goods look good and we’d like to try breakfast there."

"I'm sorry it was terrible. They said they didn't have my booking. He waited for 20 minutes for a drink that was terrible when he arrived, the Prosecco tasted. The pasta was not boiled one end had not made the water! Then to finish it, the Tiramisu was frozen!! They took it back and clear microwaves it as it was sloppy a dude and still cold in the middle incredible!"

"My wife and I make it a point to have a meal out at least once a month. Our previous experiences at this restaurant have been very good. We started with appetizers as usual, but when I ordered a medium rare filet steak, it came out well-done. I was disappointed to hear the staff try to convince me that it was cooked to the correct temperature. I shouldn't have to explain the difference between medium rare and well-done. Eventually, they replaced my steak with a medium rare one, but only after my wife had finished her meal."

"We arrived at a little after our booking time of 6pm but rang to say we were running a few minutes late as the journey took longer than expected. When we did arrive, the welcome was very warm and we were seated by the window. I was glad of that as the main body of the restaurant got quite busy and loud, and I enjoyed people watching! I was not impressed by the starter of dipping breads they did seem a little stale, but our main courses were excellent when they arrived. (Minute steak with a side salad for me and lasagne for him both delicious) They were obviously short staffed with just two waitresses and a bartender, but they went about their duties cheerfully. By 7.30pm they had got so busy they were turning people away. I’d go again but choose another starter."

"I booked this restaurant for a post theater dinner for my mother's birthday. We arrived 20 mins early but the restaurant was able to accommodate us as it was empty, it was around 5:40pm. The waiters were not very welcoming or friendly. The service was slow even though the restaurant was empty. The food was below average. One of my party ordered calamari and when it arrived it was all batter and the calamari was dried out and hard. The mains were below average. I was very disappointed with the food and the service. The restuarant did not even acknowledge that the booking was for a birthday, it was only when i mentioned it whilst paying the bill they offered to bring a complimentary cake with a candle but by then i felt it was too late. It was definitely not the kind of birthday dinner I had planned for my mother. I would definitely not recommend the place and the lack of ambiance in the restaurant was made worse by the building works going on outside."

Starters were fine, but I ordered a medium rare fillet steak for my main, got my steak which was well done, mistakes do happen, but to try and tell me that the steak was medium rare was just frustrating, I should not need to explain the difference, so replaced my steak with a medium rare, although after my wife had finished her meal. Did give us a free bottle of wine to apologize, which was a nice touch."

"Actually, this place has to hire friendly staff. two of them were completely inappropriate, especially one of the managers on the floor. I couldn't wait to go from the table within seconds. I mean, if they ask someone how to eat, they at least try to pretend that they hear the answer! when we ask for black pepper....we mean freshly ground pepper....not the cheap witness they leave on the table. the food took a because to come when we asked that everything (starter and net) comes at the same time. I don't know why they are punished when we go for this option, but that was a break. the food was well cooked and pleasant, but the experience was not great. and back to the useless manager, if we wish a reception after the payment with a credit card, we do not want the credit card receipt to the preprinted bill with the list of ordered items."

"I thought the service was first class and you were made to feel comfortable from the moment you sat down. The food was delicious and perfectly presented. Value is good considering the ambiance and restaurant. I would recommend it and I will definitely be going again. "Excellent meal with great service. Catered very well for a member of our party with specific dietary requirements and altered a dish to suit a vegetarian. Nothing felt like it was too much trouble It wasn’t full at all and unlike in some places we weren’t all squashed together in one small area, but nicely spaced out. There were several birthday parties happening but the extra space between parties meant it didn’t feel too noisy or crowded. Will definately come back"
