"Very pleasant Italian food.Quite small so very noisy when full plus very loud music. Why oh why do Italian restaurants never give you enough Parmesan and have condiments on the table. There was too much tomato sauce on the bolognese and a shame they could not make an affagato,as it is only a scoop of icecream with a shot of espresso added.Indeed all the deserts were not homemade. The pizzas were excellent. The waiter is charming and attentive."

"we had read very good reviews about the green room, me and 2 friends who have not seen themselves for a few years decided to go for the afternoon. we telephoned, booked afternoon tea and paid our deposit 2 days before. when we arrived. the waiter took us on our table and said: “I’m sorry, but the system didn’t update, so they didn’t know that we wanted to go the afternoon.” that seemed very strange when they had taken the deposit from us 2 days ago! the waiter said we had to order from the normal midday menu. after we had eaten our salad! we wanted to order 3 coffees, I asked the waitress if we could order coffee, her answer was: “It’s difficult because I don’t have a pen!” I didn’t reply, there are only 3 coffees and cakes. I then asked about the bill that lasted about 15 minutes when they finally arrived, they had not taken the deposit we had previously paid, and the waitress said: "She must talk to the manager, I explained that I stayed 10 minutes on the parking lot, so she could be fast. When I asked her what happened to the bill she said, they must go into the bar and sort it with the manager. I was very annoyed by the lack of customer service, not only had they forgotten our afternoon, but had also accused the wrong crowd. he was quite arrogant and served other people and let us wait. he said he would take £11 for the mistake with the afternoon! it is a shame that eating and the environment is very beautiful. Unfortunately, the customer service makes this place so much down. it is safe to say we will never return or will not recommend it to one of our friends."

"We had a lovely afternoon tea which served in the quiet room. I loved the little bowl of soup and the beautiful presentation of the dishes. Very nice cake selection and we had our first taste of edible flowers. The scones would be my least favourite part as think I would have expected different' scones from the usual there and they were rather dry. Also one jar of jam and cream were a bit small portion for the four scones however the black currant jam was delicious."

"I've been eating a couple of lunches today and bought a fresh scrap sandwich and a drink. the choice here is just great and the sandwich was prepared for me while I waited. it was absolutely delicious! here is a fantastic selection of freshly prepared meals. relish also has a seating area and located directly on the road, I don't need an excuse to dive back soon! fantastic. I could resist the fresh cream cake this time, but I don't think I would do it again, it looked amazing! thank you all."

"Hey, listen. We see this all over the place but. It 's wrong. We were out with friends last night. Even bumped into bloody Spurs supporters: That 's how much fun it was. The evening revolved round live music.......always good right? We ordered a meal. My wife is Coeliac so needs a Gluten free diet. Look.....a dietary need.......not just a life style choice, like some. The menu said....something like....fish stew with ciabata bread. As you can tell, I can 't spell Ciabatta . That was offered with a gluten free option, so the appropriate request was ordered. All the orders were made, only to find that, at the end, the gluten free option, was that you had no bread at all. Come on guys. Any visit to your nearest supermarket will help you out. Your option was pathetic and just not acceptable. Try to pick up in your kitchen. You should be better than this. The rest of the evening was great."

"We went in because the pulled pork smelt so good and the reviews looked amazing. When I realised they had a vegetarian soup I had to try it. It was the best soup I have ever eaten. Butternut squash with lime leaves and lemongrass (I would pay for the recipe! . Brought two extra cups back to Essex with us. I would travel the five hours back to have it again and my husband loved the pulled pork and is currently tucking into a burrito that he bought back (in a fridge . You have to visit if you go to York."

"So insanely disappointed. Been following their insta for over an year and it looked amazing. Finally decided to travel 58 mins there with my partner to treat ourselves. We arrived and the staff told us to sit down without giving us menu, so we had to go up and get one. Then the food was just awful: Mac n cheese: 2/10. completely bland and tasteless. No flavour and was only made better with a heinz ketchup sachet I had in my bag. My partner took one bit and refused to eat more. I didn 't enjoy eating it at all but didn 't want to waste it because the bowl was £6.50!! Double or nothing burger: 3/10. The beef burger tasted and felt weird. Was more like a mush than a burger. Again had little taste and the whole thing fell apart immediately. Destructor chicken burger: 6/10. The only good thing we had and even this was mediocre. Meant to be their best selling burger. The seiten burger was nice but nothing special and the BBQ overpowered everything. Felt sick after everything, and still feel rubbish after 2 hours There were wayyy too many members of staff and they were all sat down most of the time. Honestly felt really upset when I left. We made such a big journey and effort and I was really looking forward to it but it was awful. Felt bad bringing my partner all this way. Will never come back here again. Next time I want a burger, I 'll go to honest burger or even Wetherspoons, both 100x better."

"During a recent day out in London with my friends, someone recommended that we try The Folly. The restaurant was easy to locate and we were greeted with a cocktail upon arrival."

"I love this place! I am vegan, so it can be tricky to find places where the options over coat kartoffeln and bohnen, but this place was fab. the owner is beautiful and very courteous, more than happy, mix me and from the menu or tweak dinge as I wanted. my meat-eating husband was very happy with his beef curry from the woken specials and my little one was kindly offered a half-sized sandwich as we were told a full-sized one was big and it would have been much too much. recommended and especially if they have veggie, vegan, gluten-free or allergies."

"This is a local hotel to ourselves, but we have not eaten here for a while. Decided to go early evening 5pm for a meal and a few beers. We never booked and took a chance, but there was no problem getting a table in the main room as opposed to the bar area. I would recommend you book if arriving after sixish and ask for a table in the main eating area. Never go to the soulless back room. I like my real ales, and one of the guest beers happened to be on Swan Blonde, and it was in perfect condition. The tables do have a buzzer that you can press to order food or drinks, but I chose to go to the bar. I went for the burger and the wife went for sea bream linguine. Both meals were excellent, and my burger was top quality. Only one problem they tried to be different and served it in a wooden box! Please just use a plate. Two meals, four beers, two wines, and a glass of soda (free), came to £61 and represented excellent value. The background music for once was good and created a good atmosphere. The staff were excellent, friendly, and cheerful, especially the lad responding to the table buzzer requests for food and drinks. The good thing is once you have eaten the meal, the table is yours till you decide to leave so you can relax."

"8 of us had the Sunday Carvery which was extremely well cooked, good variety of vegetables and very tasty meat. The desserts were delicious, could have done with a little more variety for people that are gluten and dairy free but the Waiter was very quick to offer fresh fruit salad and sorbet which was delicious. The staff were exceptional and will definitely eat there again."

"I absolutely recommend you to go to this place. The environment is so relaxed and cozy, I might be biased as I love the locals created just underneath the railway bridges. The bricks provide an absolutely authentic decoration, however you can find many similar places in London, but anyway, they are lovely! The service was excellent, so friendly and quick, and they are opened to provide you with wine suggestions depending on your taste and food. Additionally it’s guided mainly by women. The was fantastic, so creative and tasteful including perfect combinations of flavors and textures. And they have a long list of wines from the main wine regions of the world. Unfortunately the glass options are quite limited. But, a good point is that they are changing the food and glass wine offerings daily. Amazing place! The only negative point that is a bit expensive, but even though, worthy to taste."

"We love traditional deli sandwiches, especially Pastrami and Reubens. However, Monty 's pastrami Reubens, the star of the show, was rather lackluster. First of all, it was tiny! A little sandwich and half a pickle on a plate with nothing besides. The flavour of the pastrami was good, but it was powdery and dry in texture (overcooked). There also wasn 't a lot of it! The pickle it was served with was good and so was the Sauerkraut, but the rye bread was very light (and small). We also had a salt beef Reuben which was nice, but also quite small! Latkes were very good and so were the drinks coffee and egg cream! We ended with a sesame bagel that wasn 't very big nor chewy enough like a traditional bagel. Feeling a bit disappointed because the reviews we read online gave high ratings. On the plus side, the waiters were friendly and helpful."

"My sister and I decided to pop in on our way back to Frankwell car park after a shopping trip in Shrewsbury. The cafe is lovely and clean and the owner very friendly. My sister opted for a Coronation Chicken salad which was served on a lovely fresh poppy seed bap which she thoroughly enjoyed. I opted for a meatball bap. When it came I was at first disappointed to see that the filling was cold as I have never had cold meatball before. However, what a revelation! The meatballs were so tasty and in a really yummy slightly spicy sauce. The accompanying coffee was also very nice. Will definitely be returning."

"We had a lunch here. They offer seating in side and they have a few bistro sets outside where you can enjoy their baked goods. It was busy but service is fast. There is no table service you order and pay at the counter. We had 2 sandwiches one tuna mayo and one avocado and turkey. Taste was good for the tuna one. The grilled turkey was ok, they put a little to much lemon juice on the avocado. That was a bit too much. The bread we had was sourdough. It needs some chewing. Can’t say it is stale. But it needs a chew. Breads are 7-8 pounds each so not cheap. But they are not small. And fill you up pretty well!"

"A beautiful place. Warm welcome, but the staff seemed busy and we waited an inconvenient amount of time to settle the bill. The afternoon tea was nice, although I did not request open sandwiches that were awkward to eat and I ended up giving some to my husband because he was still hungry. Compared to similar experiences, I'm sorry, it's not my favorite."

"being fair, eating was nice and so is keeping. my question is with the manager owner (I assume that this is his roll, since he was dressed in comparison to the waiting personal wise, the whole evening was put by him on a small note that his admiration for vladimir putin and the support for the war in the ukraine said. with his glorification of donald trump. each has claim to his own views, (I certainly do not share them), but I do not think it is really appropriate to share them in the length with customers. bad hospitality. by the way, he didn't wear masks."

"You go to the Ned for the atmosphere. It’s a phenomenal venue and I’m happy to pay the price for drinks, but not really acceptable to have an average meal. On looking at the menu I thought prices seemed quite reasonable but the crab salad had a sprinkle of white crab meat and the lobster roll was mainly roll and mayonnaise. Both were delicious but lacking the main ingredient. Will definitely be back to the Ned, but never again to Zobler’s. Also if I order a pressed juice I get that you might want to show off the packaging, but don’t just serve a plastic bottle that I have to open myself. Tasted delicious, but really off putting as seems less “fresh”."
