"This is our 5th visit to kam sang restaurant and on previous occasions the food and service both excellent but last nights visit was totally different we were greeted by most of the staff wearing masks were shown to a table brought menus order taken the first course hot and sour soup was so spicy it brought tears to my boyfriends eyes he had the same soup in july totally different colour and taste and it so much tastier in july next the main course my boyfriend had house special curry the prawns were hard to eat and cut which spoiled the curry i had the beef and pineapple which was ok very pineapple laden and very underseasoned next the egg fried rice which was sticky clumped together and not very tasty the one redeeming part of the meal was the prawn crackers very tasty i must also say felt very watched by the staff when eating now u can be attentive to customer's without making u feel like u being watched if i do return and staff wearing masks i will not be staying as not comfortable being served by people wearing masks Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Food: 2 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 1"

"Went here today 27th March 23 It was a treat from my daughter for me as part of my mother's day present It had been booked for 12 o'clock sitting for lunch 2 weeks ago for 3 people I was looking forward to it as I had never been here before We were sat down chose our drinks and our orders were taken The orders came about 12 30 we were then approached by the server at 12 50pm And was told they needed the table by 1pm and we could go up stairs to finish off our lunch at first we couldn't believe what she had asked even in a restaurant you get up to 2hrs at a table by 1pm the same server came back again and said they needed the table I really don't believe once you total have been sat down uou should have to move again no matter what issues arise from other bookings Surely they would have known this table was needed when they sat us down for our lunch so we should have been seated upstairs in the first instance totally unexceptable the way this was handled by a very in competent person and spoilt what should have been a lovely lunch with my family just less than an hour and getting shunted off your table total disbelief"

"I recently visited Chopstix Noodle Bar for the first time and had an amazing experience. Subhan, our server, was incredibly friendly and professional. He patiently answered all of my questions and helped me make my meal choices. While my family opted for Burger King, I decided to try Chopstix after speaking with Subhan. I ordered the 4XL box with a variety of chicken dishes, accompanied by rice, noodles, sides, and prawn crackers. Subhan even mixed my sides for me so I could try a bit of everything. The food was delicious and my family agreed that my meal was the standout. Although my meal was a bit more expensive than a fast food burger, the portion size was generous, and I even had leftovers to take home. Overall, the service was excellent, the food was fantastic, and I will definitely be returning to Chopstix at the Trafford Centre. Thanks to Subhan and the team for a great experience. "We have dined here before and really enjoyed our meal. However this time it really did disappoint us. The photo shows what was advertised as lamb burger, however the actual meat was more than poor and totally tasteless. To disguise the taste of the burger this was served with heaps of dressing. Such a let down to the kitchen. We did report this but little was offered except a complimentary drink. A lack of customer service also on behalf on the duty manager."

"This pub is incredible! They are dog friendly with a spacious backyard and plenty of seating. We had a delicious dinner with friends and our favorite dog Roly. This was our second visit and we will definitely be back soon. Highly recommended! Vegetarian options are also available with a variety of choices on the menu. The parking is spacious and free. He says have you got id I said are you joking. He said no I'm the manager Tristan. You aren't getting served. He then said look at my cameras. I have seen you on my CCTV. Now leave. I can't believe this guy. Even his staff said sorry he's like it all the time. Well I'm a solicitor and I will get this awful person removed from this once loved pub. No wonder place is empty and in great need of. Repairs. Keep away from here is my advice. He then came around the bar. And said get out. And don't return you're barred. Upon this we left. "I am reviewing here after trying to give an honest and non malicious review on their facebook pages. Dont bother doing that, if they dont agree with your opinion or simply dont like it, they will delete it. The food was excellent, and for the most part the service was also very good. The service stalled when we were forgotten about and had to sit with our dirty dishes from our main course for a very long time, and wait for ages for a sweet menu. We had to attract attention from one of the waiting staff, that wasn't easy and we shouldn't have had to. We could have overlooked this minor issue but the whole experience was spoilt on arrival of the bill. We have been to many eating establishments and this is the only one that saw fit to charge 20 pence for a glass of tap water. Apparently it is a legal requirement to provide water if asked by a customer, but the business is entitled to charge for use of a container, how ridiculous. Most businesses offer the water as a courtesy, since technically it costs them nothing. Finally, it isn't very businesslike for a manager/owner? to walk around wearing shorts, unless there is some medical reason for doing so. Smarten up, treat yourself to a shirt and tie, and a pair of trousers, you'll earn much more respect that way, for goodness sake. You can use your profit from your tap water sales!!!"

"For the price they charge quantity was so little. Attached pic is of Paneer Shashlik, 4 very thin sliced cubes with two tiny pieces of yellow pepper, 2 tiny pieces of red pepper and and 2 and a half onion rings for £5.99. Waste of money. Ordered chicken and chips from kids menu as well and there were 5 tiny cubes of chicken with a few chips. Had to cook dinner again as everyone was still hungry after having these tiny portions. "I bring the family in every now and then for some good food. Waiting on staff are great and the chef is always accommodating. Tonight however, we came in on the spur of the moment and stumbled into curry. My “house manager” got herself a prawn masala and I plumbed for the lamb jalfrezi. It was one of the best hesitant menu choices I have ever made. The jalfrezi was not the hottest I have had, but it was certainly the tastiest and the lamb melted in the mouth. I’m sat here writing this thinking I’ll be back on Thursday night for sure. Kids meals were great too…. Battered fish was cooked beautifully and there were too many chunky chips for my daughter which were handy for mopping up my jalfrezi sauce haha. So lucky to have this place on our doorstep."

"Our party of 3 were handed crumpled lunch menus and though I requested a wine menu apparently there isn't one. I asked what was available and from the three first mentioned chose a Rioja at £21. It was acceptable. I chose a 16 oz rump steak. On being asked how I wanted it cooked I suggested that the chef would know how best to cook his product and that this would be ok with me. I was met with a blank stare. After two more tries I was told I had to choose myself so chose medium rare. When it arrived weighing no more than 10 oz, gristly and rather thin, it was dry and cooked hugely beyond well done. I can honestly say this was the worst attempt at a steak I can recall. My fellow diners restrained my desire to complain even though their meals (a steak pie and a thai red curry) were mediocre. No one bothered to ask if our food was ok. After a coffee we left. I am surprised that this place is still trading."

"Saved the day!! We booked a table of 20 for a 30th birthday celebration, the pressure was on me to deliver the beautiful hand made cake on time, however this resulted in me calling the restaurant 40 minutes in advance to say Disaster had struck… the cake rolled in the car! “Just get here and we have chefs on stand by for you to try save it” was the response and boy did they deliver!! Not only did we have starters and mains beautifully timed with fantastic service, but we had a birthday cake (reconstructed) for the birthday girl who was none the wiser!!
