"The atmosphere was a bit chilly, and perhaps that was due to it being a quiet Monday night, which may have affected the heating. However, the staff was lovely. The food was impressive. My aunt and I both started with pâté, while my cousin had halloumi fries, and they were delicious. For my main course, I had salt and pepper chicken, along with roasted rice, chips, and curry sauce, and it was absolutely amazing. I couldn't finish it because the portion was so large. My aunt ordered a steak with mashed potatoes and vegetables, which looked beautiful, and she said it tasted wonderful. My cousin had chicken curry with rice and naan, and she really enjoyed it, mentioning that it wasn't overly spicy, which was perfect since she isn't a fan of hot curries. We decided to skip dessert because we were so full after all that. Overall, I was very satisfied with my salt and pepper chicken!"

"The staff are very welcoming and friendly. I was told the restaurant has recently changed management so you can expect a lot more vegan and vegetarian dishes on the horizon. The food I did have was not on the printed menu but it was however recommended to me by the very helpful staff. From what I can gather there is a full range of mock meats including duck, roast pork, chicken and beef. I opted for the mock chicken and was certainly not disappointed with my choice. The food was full of flavour, well presented and great value for money. I am just visiting Stirling for one night however if I do return I will make a b-line for The Regent it was well worth the visit"

"Last time we had food at Neptune and Prawn two years ago my husband was served completely raw chicken and got food poisoning so naturally it put us both off revisiting, however we decided to take our three daughters for a meal tonight hoping for a better experience and we were all very disappointed! We will not be back! Food order was wrong, one of my children got her food after other two finished, adults salt and chilli goujon meal £17 extra for side! was just a kids meal with an extra goujon, exactly the same chicken!! It was served with iceberg lettuce strands which had seen better days, looked disgraceful! I ordered the prawn dish at £21 and was served a plate of greasy prawn crackers with 7 very small prawns!! Kids meals were terrible mcds kids meals are bigger! and all the food that was correct! was served within 5mins of ordering, so nothing fresh..thrown out! Very poor restaurant, fast food restaurant at best!"

"This was my first visit here. The staff are friendly and polite and showed us to our table, We ordered our food and drinks. We didn't wait long and our food was served. This has got to be the worst food I have ever had anywhere. It was overcooked microwave food and was inedible! I complained and it was taken away and I was given a fresh meal that was only slightly better. We ordered the warm frangipane, this was served cold. We mentioned this and it was taken away and warmed up in the microwave. I won't visit here again and I imagine if they carry on serving such awful food alot of other customers won't bother returning. 5 stars to the serving staff but sack the so called chef!!!"

"I tend to just have a take away. I love the food , theres lots of varied choices on the menu Ive never eaten in the restaurant but going off my opinion of the food ive had as a takeaway I can categorrically say the food is absolutely lovely I will be giving it 5 full marks (100% Its a pleasure to eat the food from Ocean lounge The service is very very friendly indeed The delivery driver provides a FANTASTIC service too As I am medically vulnerable I have requested that the driver wear a mask he has agreed to do so every single time so I am very happy with that He also provides a very friendly service indeed I would always recommend it if I was asked to do so I would highly recommend it You get a really decent portion for your money All in all I am extremely happy with everything Fantastic food, Fantastic Service Whenever I want a chinese meal I would always phone Ocean Lounge Their standards are very high indeed Absolutely First Class in my opinion I can also recommend their fish sausage etc their chips"

"This is our 5th visit to kam sang restaurant and on previous occasions the food and service both excellent but last nights visit was totally different we were greeted by most of the staff wearing masks were shown to a table brought menus order taken the first course hot and sour soup was so spicy it brought tears to my boyfriends eyes he had the same soup in july totally different colour and taste and it so much tastier in july next the main course my boyfriend had house special curry the prawns were hard to eat and cut which spoiled the curry i had the beef and pineapple which was ok very pineapple laden and very underseasoned next the egg fried rice which was sticky clumped together and not very tasty the one redeeming part of the meal was the prawn crackers very tasty i must also say felt very watched by the staff when eating now u can be attentive to customer's without making u feel like u being watched if i do return and staff wearing masks i will not be staying as not comfortable being served by people wearing masks Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Food: 2 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 1"

"I recently visited Chopstix Noodle Bar for the first time and had an amazing experience. Subhan, our server, was incredibly friendly and professional. He patiently answered all of my questions and helped me make my meal choices. While my family opted for Burger King, I decided to try Chopstix after speaking with Subhan. I ordered the 4XL box with a variety of chicken dishes, accompanied by rice, noodles, sides, and prawn crackers. Subhan even mixed my sides for me so I could try a bit of everything. The food was delicious and my family agreed that my meal was the standout. Although my meal was a bit more expensive than a fast food burger, the portion size was generous, and I even had leftovers to take home. Overall, the service was excellent, the food was fantastic, and I will definitely be returning to Chopstix at the Trafford Centre. Thanks to Subhan and the team for a great experience. "We visited for the first time this morning. We went for brunch and discovered that The Bake House has a remarkably varied brunch menu. We both chose from their loaded sourdough range. My wife had a veggie version and I had the Mexican version with added chorizo. These were substantial, to the extent that I commented to our server that when they say loaded they really mean it. Both were well presented and delightfully tasty. I couldn 't finish mine. The service was charming and the place has a wonderfully warm, friendly atmosphere. We 'll be back."

"We have dined here before and really enjoyed our meal. However this time it really did disappoint us. The photo shows what was advertised as lamb burger, however the actual meat was more than poor and totally tasteless. To disguise the taste of the burger this was served with heaps of dressing. Such a let down to the kitchen. We did report this but little was offered except a complimentary drink. A lack of customer service also on behalf on the duty manager."

"Found this place by accident, having taken a wrong turn. Lovely, bright and airy interior, VERY comfortable ambiance, super friendly and welcoming staff...and one of THE most beautiful young ladies behind the bar. The landlady is quiet special too. Free WiFi, free car parking in the street and opposite the pub. Decent menu (I didn't eat on this visit). From a personal perspective, there were too many dogs on my visit, but presumably, this will suit many? This venue also has a beer garden. Sensibly they have time restraints on evening closing, thus respecting their neighbours. Highly recommended."

"We visited The Bell to celebrate our birthday. We received a warm welcome, were shown to our table promptly. We ordered drinks and they arrived quickly. Our food order was taken as soon as we were ready. Two of us chose a Thai Red Curry from the specials board and our other guest chose the Steak and Ale Pie. We had salt and pepper chicken wings to nibble while we waited for our mains. The food did not take too long to come. It was nicely presented, there was plenty of it and it was delicious. We were too full for pudding so we asked for the bill which we received promptly. The service throughout was truly excellent, the food was good and we thoroughly enjoyed the experience. We look forward to another visit in the future."

"Visited Rossini on a Monday night, only the 4 of us in which should have told us something. It soon became apparent that there wasn't much heating on as the restaurant was cold. Given menus and waitress stood and watched over us from a short distance away whilst looking at menu instead of leaving us for a short while. Garlic Prawns for starter which had no taste of garlic whatsoever, Fillet Steak Surf n Turf (med/rare) for main, when it arrived, steak was cooked well done and only 2 prawns as the turf. Manager/ Owner would not let one of us take a glass of wine away (was staying 20 yards away and said we would return glass next day, not exactly going to steal a glass worth 50p) as he said he'd had bad experiences relating to this matter. Won't be visiting again"

"Sam's review: Tl;dr: Enjoyable food, quick service, halal food justifies the price. Arrival Visited with a party of 2 at 7PM. The main restaurant was fully booked out, but we were instead seated at the adjacent restaurant Wokooshii- a sister restaurant. I appreciated the decision, meaning we were sat down promptly. Service I had no issue with service, but likewise had nothing to praise about it, besides our chairs being pulled out for us, which was a nice gesture. The food arrived reasonably quickly. Food We ordered 3 starters. The squid was well-cooked and lightly seasoned. The second was Lai Wong Bau: aglutinous rice ball with a coconut custard centre. It was well made: soft, warm and gooey. Whilst it felt more like a dessert, it was very tasty. The coconut custard wasn't too strong a taste, which for my coconut disliking palate was appreciated. Our final starter was prawn meat in fu pei wrap. It reminded me of traditional Asian hot pot dumplings. We opted to not go for mains as we were going to sample other restaurants too. Final Thoughts The fact that Yang Sing Cathay is halal was a big selling point for us. Our only complaint would be price, but considering the cost of halal ingredients this was justified. I'd recommend Yang Sing Cathay to others."

"This place is a hit with the locals offering simple pub grub at a competitive price. I had haggis pakora to start which was quite nice but the lot was drizzled with a vinaigrette sauce which was an odd choice. Steak was cooked as requested and nice and tender but the lot was very greasy. Dessert was a sticky toffee pudding, nothing to write home about and poorly presented. All in all it’s old fashioned cooking, nothing wrong with it but I wouldn’t rush back! Staff were very friendly but many seemed fairly inexperienced (we all have to start somewhere : . Decor was ok but overall the place was a little dogeared and untidy."

"Dalshanan Farm was the next on the list of “Scottish Curry Award winners”. I’ve been looking forward to this for a few weeks since visiting two other winners (Edinburgh). We drove 80 miles each way for what we expected to be a great curry. Unfortunately the experience didn’t live up to the expectation. We ordered a mixed platter to start which was just a plate of deep fried things! Over cooked (especially the samosa) , dry and pretty bad. A shame considering the reputation. My curry was bland, under seasoned and zero spice. I did raise this and the fantastic waiter (I suspect owner) changed it for another dish that apparently had more flavour. It did come out quickly but unfortunately had marginally more flavour and was spicier but absolutely doesn’t warrant the “HOT” warning. Looking at some reviews on here it seems like things have changed since they won the award. It was a long way to go for a meal that wasn’t memorable at all. Such a shame."
