"We visited the Trafford centre for my daughters birthday and gave her the option of where to eat. She chose tampopo. I’m not a fan of spicy food so was unsure on her choice…how wrong was I! The food was amazing and to top it off our waiter Jake could not do enough for us to make our visit as good as it could be. Even when we hadn’t decided on our main meals he allowed us to order our starters then came back for our main meal order. Jake is a credit to tampopo and considering his young age he delivers great service as if he has been doing it for years. We couldn’t have had a better experience than what we did and we will be sure to visit again and hopefully be served by Jake !"

I visited tampopo last night and must admit that eating is extraordinary. I love laksa suppe and chocolate fondant is my favorite dessert and nickolas as waiter was very friendly and helpful. I recommend tampopo.

good night outside eating was nice and we liked the fact that they had a rosemary menu. although the fruit salad was terrible and tasted by fish. excellent customer service by kez made us very welcome and very friendly and helpful.

This restaurant was nice! The place was clean and the food was nice. Staff were friendly. The Tofu stir fry was good as a meat free option but could have been a little more balanced flavour-wise.. the rice was a little bland then the fried food was overly ‘peppered’. Spice is one thing, lack of flavour another..

One of my favourite places to eat when shopping at the Trafford Centre. Not too many seats in here when we used to go and it always was busy, but if you go at lunch time, you're more likely to find a place to sit. Quick service, good food and large portions. Nasi Goreng, Pad Thai, Khao Phad and Bulgogi were our favourites, but we've liked pretty much all the dishes that we tried!

The food here is fabulous. I would highly recommend to anyone who has been backpacking around Asia and eaten from the street stalls.... takes me back every time!!! They do a great lunch time deal a main course from £6.95 and a starter for £2.50. fast, fresh and delightful service from friendly staff! they even acknowledged my 8month old daughter and took her to see the chefs cooking on the woks!!! Will be coming back when next in Trafford Centre much better than the other Branded places.

What a great experience we had at here yesterday. Our waiter was Tom and they were so friendly, welcoming and helpful. Nothing was a bother for them. We had our 4 year old and we were all very tired and Tom made our experience so much easier. The vegan food was excellent! I had the vegan katsu curry, my husband had the jackfruit Rendang and my child had the sweetcorn fritters with rice (recommended by Tom for my very fussy eater). We all loved every bite. We'll be popping back next time we're in Manchester

only in some places for a short visit, but thought we would try this Thai place. it took a while to be served, but I think that this was an oversight, as all others were taken quite quickly. after our order was taken, the service was excellent and very friendly. the food came freshly boiled to the table and was delicious. hubbie could not finish his katsu curry udon suppe (first time I saw that on the menu) although it was extremely addicted. I would definitely try this restaurant if they are a fan of thai street food.

Wow!! Am quite a nivice to south east asian cusiine but my partner loves a a thai curry. I didnt need to worry, the staff were awesome. They helped me decide on a vietnamese summer roll starter...really fresh and light with tightly packed rolls with mint, corriander and basil with well cooked noodles and veg. I had a Thai beed Massaman xurry for main which was rich in flavours with little heat, fragrant and filling. Reasonably priced, caring staff and fresh food...what more could you ask for apart from channing tatum serving me in shorts;

a couple of weeks ago, I was invited together with two of my fantastic four to try a peskatarian taste tour in tampopo im metford centre. whenever we make a trip to the metford centre (tc), there is always a designated collection of restaurants that we often tend. the number one, tends to read iguanas, followed by the safe bet of nando. yang sing slides comfortably into the third and then it is a kind of pot luck with some of the others. I would only visit tampopo once, it was not a personal choice, it was where our friends to eat, so I remember playing it super safe and ordering a pad Thai and not much more distracted from the good company than the good food.

"Alborz is a wonderful hidden gem in Levenshulme that serves a variety of Persian and Middle-Eastern food, located on Stockport Rd you could be forgiven for thinking that Alborz is as unassuming as it's humble exterior suggests. However, what lies behind those modest doors is truly fantastic restaurant both in terms of food and service. The interior is understated and tasteful, furnished with Persian vases and ornate tea sets, the tables are close together to make the most of the limited space available but this lends a refreshing communal atmosphere to your meal. The staff were friendly and attentive and more than happy to talk you through the menu and explain the various dishes. We ordered the Mezze Platter to start, this consists of four different starters, and is ideal if you're not overly familiar with Persian cuisine, the homemade hummus was a particular highlight being both fresh and tasty. We then ordered the Alborz special grill for two, which looks as wonderful as it tastes, succulent skewers of koobideh and chicken accompanied by grilled vegetables, saffron rice and a freshly baked taltoon bread which was frankly quite ridiculous in its magnificence and is so large it came supplied with its own stand. This was a true delight to eat and I can highly recommend it. After all of that, we were overloaded with food and couldn't possibly consider having dessert and so, asked for the bill, which led to true surprise of the evening, all of this wonderfully authentic and fresh food came to a grand total of £42. This reflects tremendous value in a time where a meal for two can often prove quite expensive. Overall I would say that Alborz is definitely worth visiting if you're in the area and if you're not well then it's worth making the trip for. If you're a fan of Persian food or perhaps want to try something new then you would genuinely struggle to find such a quality dining experience at this price point."

"I've been to a couple of different Dishoom branches a few times and have never been disappointed by the breakfast options. The sausage naan roll is excellent. A couple of really tasty vegan sausages with some melted vegan cheese all wrapped up in a lovely soft naan and served with some sort of sweet chilli dipping sauce. My go to now is usually the vegan Bombay. It's a good hearty breakfast plate with... a couple of the same well seasoned vegan sausages. Some vegan tofu akuri a nicely spiced tofu scramble. Some very well cooked mushroom slices (that are maybe a wee bit under seasoned). The baked beans are really nicely spiced, elevating them far beyond the standard sweet sauce fare that's the usual. A few slices of well flavoured black pudding (that could be fried to being a bit crispier). A cooked tomato which is a bit dull, I've never been keen on tomatoes on my breakfast plate and this once has not changed my mind. It could do with some more charring and maybe some spicing. To help you mop everything up, the whole thing is served with a couple of soft bread buns that have been nicely toasted. I usually top the whole thing off with some chocolate chai with oat milk you get free refills for your chai. Unfortunately, it isn't wheelchair accessible. There are stairs up into the restaurant and various small flights of stairs to get to different parts of the restaurant. Updated from previous review on 2024 03 25"
