"I think you don't have a fantastic meal today in U.k.until. go the streets of gosport, look for the ferry back to portsmouth we get to see the fighting cocks pub and we talked about having a pint and maybe eating something. do not move away from the outside look. they have an impressive beer garden on the back and that was eating....spot before. also for vegan (like I) they have some very interesting options. the prizes were like in any other pub in portsmouth and the barkeepers were friendly and very helpful. there is no discussion,i will recommend the place for all who go to portsmouth. I hope I will come back one day."

Good stuff, man, live beer, cold music. Big garden, clean toilets, lovely bar staff, friendly pubgoers, good prices, what else do you need?

If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. this place has so large food proportions and so many different options to choose. the prices are really amazing and the staff is also very friendly. The deserts are also beautiful. I'll come back in any case. if they get the chance to see this place, I would highly recommend it.

A proper local that offers all things to all people. We’ve been there for a bite to eat in the garden, a meal in the restaurant area or a quick snack in the pub whilst an informal group of local musicians played tunes together. Staff are always friendly and keen to please, prices are extremely fair and we’ve enjoyed our food. what more could you ask? A great place.

Superb quality and value food , best burger I think I ever had goats cheese with caramelised onion, proper kaiser roll and great chips , everyone in the group loved their food including fish and chips . Service was a bit flaky seemingly normal everywhere post covid and the baked Camebertneed some chitney/relish/ cranberry jelly . But overall very very good we will be back !

What a little treasure. Food is excellent very filling. All the staff are helpful, friendly polite. There is a lovely garden with a play area for the kids. Dogs are also very welcome here. We recently had my Nan's birthday lunch here, all 17 of us. The landlady couldn't do anymore One of my favourite places to eat out. It can get very busy so best to book a table. Highly recommended.

Found this place by accident, having taken a wrong turn. Lovely, bright and airy interior, VERY comfortable ambiance, super friendly and welcoming staff...and one of THE most beautiful young ladies behind the bar. The landlady is quiet special too. Free WiFi, free car parking in the street and opposite the pub. Decent menu (I didn't eat on this visit). From a personal perspective, there were too many dogs on my visit, but presumably, this will suit many? This venue also has a beer garden. Sensibly they have time restraints on evening closing, thus respecting their neighbours. Highly recommended.
