"Nipped in for a quick bite on a Friday evening. We went up to what looked like the restaurant bar and asked if it was possible to get a table but were directed to the main bar to ask about this. The place was packed- getting served at the internal bar would have been a bit of a fight. Had a similar experience on a visit here before because there's not much space around the bar so you tend to get an impenetrable crowd instead of any sort of line. Eventually managed to get the attention of a member of staff and were told the restaurant was fully booked, however we could sit outside and order food at the bar to our outside table. Would have saved us some time if that was communicated through the team and relayed by the first person we asked instead of sending us to queue elsewhere. We did order to an outside table, and the food was excellent. The small pizzas really are quite small. But if you have a couple of sides they're perfect to not overstuff you. If you want to just eat pizza probably get a large. Also they had really interesting topping selections on the pizzas- I had the spiced aubergine, creme fraiche and honey. It was absolutely delicious. The chips were hot and well seasoned, the greek salad also really nice- I did miss the addition of peppers and would possibly remove the pea shoots and sub in the peppers to improve this and keep it more authentic though. Drinks were nice and the atmosphere inside was quite cosy and outside had a nice vibe with the tasteful lightning and wooden furniture. Would definitely return (but probably make a reservation. It's busy for a reason!"

"We were taken to Stefano’s as a birthday treat by some very good friends. What good friends they were! Stefano’s has the most delicious traditional Italian food we have ever tasted here in the UK and in Italy itself. The menu had some beautiful dishes as did that day’s specials, expertly recited by our host for the evening Elisabetta. We really did enjoy true Italian fare with a very wide choice of pastas and pizzas and many fish and meat dishes. Every choice was freshly prepared with high quality ingredients. The setting is very quaint and has a great ambience. The staff are excellent, nothing was too much trouble, with a lovely complimentary fresh pizza bread and a liqueur of choice, to begin and end our meal. We will be back very, very soon to return the experience of the birthday treat for our friends. If you are in the Yorkshire area, Stefano’s is an absolute must, you will not be disappointed. A little piece of Italy in Silsden!"

Please tell them that the experience, atmosphere, eating and service were as good as ever, that is, excellent. a friendly reception, interesting menu and beautiful Italian feel, the decor. we had appetizers and...main courses from the fixed price, two course lunch menu, our most important courses are chicken risotto and penne with a creamy huh and mushroom sauce, both absolutely excellent. together with a large glass of the excellent house white and a great espresso, our overall bill was about excellent value for money and a truly authentic Italian culinary experience. we're coming back."

"I am writing this review because there is no ability to review trip advisor. Trip advisor offers no facility to respond negatively to totally unreasonable reviews. I have been a frequent user of Pizza by Goli have over many decades and they have provided exceptional food with only occassional lapses in quality. Several recent reviews are from people who are assigning totally unreasonable ratings for relatively minor issues. They are entitled to their view but trip advisor should allow comment or at least downvotes for poor reviews. Finally TA should encourage criticism of their own facility as well as other providers. I can find no easy way to give feedback to trip advisor."

"We came across this wonderful restaurant by chance when visiting Frome for the Frome Independent street market, having failed to find anywhere for lunch nearer to the centre. We were given a friendly welcome, and the service throughout was efficient, courteous and very professional. The meals we had were exceptionally good; my Ossaboca was one of the best dishes I've had in a restaurant in a long time. Very fair pricing for the quality and quantity, and the overall experience was exceptional. I've only given 4 stars for Atmosphere as it was, rather surprisingly, quite quiet when we were there. I'm sure that when it is busier the atmosphere would merit 5 stars. A shame we're not from the area; otherwise it would become a regular favourite restaurant."

"I reserved the Bistro for my 60th Birthday dinner with a party of 24. We chose the 2 course Celebration menu, which was a fixed price and perfect for our group. The food was outstanding on the night, the service was exceptional, and everyone enjoyed their meals. I believe the restaurant may have gained some new customers from our experience. They even took care of cutting and packaging my birthday cake since we were all too full to eat anymore. My birthday celebration at the Bistro was everything I had hoped for!"

"chapletown is one of the most picturesque villages in lancashire. they will find historic buildings around each corner, including the chatham poore. what they do not find is a good quality meal unfortunately. the chetham is the only pub/restaurant in the village. and all they offer is bad. obviously they have lost inspiration and passion. her menu is boring and outdated. the ingredients seem cheap and each meal tastes like it was made with the microshaft. you interieur is outdated and openly strange. it is so a shame to see such a beautiful building in such a beautiful place wasted."

"Dined here this evening hoping it would be good as we had read some excellent reviews on TA. Ordered garlic and cheese focaccia (actually was more like garlic and barely bread) asked for it to be crispy, ended up cremated, but actually unlike me didn’t make a fuss as it was the eve of my birthday so just ate the edges. My partner seemed to enjoy his fish stew. I opted for the chicken, mushroom and nduja risotto. I asked the waitress what it was and she said it was like salami, what she neglected to tell me was that it was packed with chilli and nearly blew my shirt off. Needless to say I couldn’t eat it as I hate anything spicy. The owner asked what was wrong and he came out with the spice paste and I explained what she told me, but it completely went over his head. It would have been nice if they would have offered a complimentary coffee which we paid for or the ice cream I ordered to cool my mouth down, but he didn’t. He also was pushing for people to order their deserts as he wanted to close early as he had to pay staff for more than needed. No sweetener at all, not surprised the restaurant was quiet."

"Beautiful meal for my 30th birthday! There were 20 of us so we pre ordered which I sent by email so that was easy Staff were all so accommodating, friendly and welcoming! Even when my grandma spilled her own drink, the owner (I’m assuming replaced it for her though it was no fault of his! As we were seated upstairs for a larger party, the upstairs bar was opened for us which gave us our own private bar! Once we all arrived we were asked if we were ready and the starters came out within about 15 minutes, all lovely and fresh. The mains followed and were all delicious, the portions were brilliant there’s no way you can leave hungry from the early bird offer! Kids portions were still nice and big so you don’t need to worry about ordering extras for the littlies (or granny as well in our case! I hate faffing around with the bill at the end of a meal so I got everyone to send us their money once they sent me their order this meant I paid the food bill at once and then everyone sorted their drinks at the bar so there was no confusion when it came to paying the bill and no needing 7 different cards some paying cash etc! We all brought a couple for the tip Thank you so much, we hope to be back soon!"

"I visited this restaurant for a late lunch and was impressed by the amazing food and attentive, friendly staff. My only critique is that the menu choices seemed a bit limited across different food groups. While the pasta and pizza were delicious, they didn't fully represent the flavors of Italy that this place is clearly capable of offering. "This restaurant is a hidden gem near the train station. The mussels from the specials menu were fantastic, and the pasta was delicious. "Finding this place after a long day of cycling was a real jackpot! We weren't aware they had a separate vegan menu, so I simply asked to omit some ingredients on our pizza for sweetness. A very friendly staff member informed me that as a vegan, I could have it made exactly as I requested, plus add vegan cheese or even choose from their vegan menu! They prepared it just as I asked, and I wasn't charged anything extra. In fact, I ended up getting a discount and a key ring as well. We decided to take the pizzas to the beach because we didn't feel comfortable sitting inside after our day out. The place had a cozy vibe, and I really hope to return someday."

"Often, when you hear that a place hasn’t changed much in 25 years, it might be viewed negatively, but in this case, it’s a strong endorsement. While the menu has seen some updates, the quality of the food remains outstanding, and their garlic bread truly lives up to its award-winning title. My personal favorite is the Pollo Gambaretti, which I've attempted to replicate at home, and their steak dishes are fantastic—something you don't often find in more affordable restaurants. "We have visited this restaurant several times now and have tried a different meal every time. Each meal has been delicious, well presented, and served hot. We highly recommend this place for a great meal in a clean establishment with friendly staff. It doesn't matter if there are only two of us dining or, like today, six of us. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. It's also a great place for wheelchair users. We can't wait for the summer with plenty of outdoor seating, a children's play area, and being dog-friendly.
