"I am from the US it was my birthday and a clerk at gap recommended it. I had Uruguay Filet of beef with green beans a salad shock was all good. They brought my dessert out on a white platter with happy birthday written in chocolate. I had cheesecake with fruit topping so good! Our waitress was exceptional. Good place for a nice dinner."

"Allowed to book onto the set menu for 7:30, arrived and told the set menu isn’t available after 7. Spoke with the manager who was rude, unable to deal with accordingly and actually had no experience in handling with issues. One person missed off for drinks and another wrong item arrived on the table when the food did arrive. Lovely food but well over priced and no service to match"

"Bread Street Kitchen is a nice little spot in St Pauls. Owned by Gordon Ramsay and straight opposite Jamie Oliver's Barbecoa. With these two right beside each other you feel spoilt for choice. We opted for Gordon's as we know one of the Managers and Waitresses from working other places. Without them being there, there place would be friendly. It is a grand space with high ceilings, ornate design, very airy and a massive bar offering. It is over a first floor and ground floor. Nice little areas inside to set up in. The downstairs, with a one chair corner for some alone time as you come up the stairs. The restaurant area, bar top and bar area. The bartenders have good cocktail knowledge and...read more"

"Maybe when people are arrive and you offer water for the table you should explain this is chargeable at £5.50. Also check your toilets more regularly as disappointed to find toilet roll cardboard and lady products on the floor. Food amazing though and highly recommend for the food alone!"

"When our food finally arrived, it was mediocre at best. The flavors were bland and uninspiring, and the presentation was lackluster. We were left disappointed and underwhelmed by the whole experience. Overall, our visit to the Savoy Grill was a letdown. We had high expectations for a memorable dining experience, but unfortunately, it did not live up to the hype. We would not recommend this restaurant to others looking for a special dining experience in London."

"We booked for Thanksgiving dinner here as it was a feature of their restaurant and we were here on Holiday during Thanksgiving. Booking was easy, but required a 20 pound deposit that had to be made via filling out a PDF and emailing back. It was in a cool part of the city and the decoration was irreverent, but not overstated and had a lovely family atmosphere. Waitresses were more than nice, albeit a little spread thin. O can't speak the the typical food, but the Thanksgiving menu was very much aligned with the traditional American meal. It's hard to know if it was my American tastebuds or not, but the meal seemed to be a little heavy handed in seasoning. The gravy instead of being rich and comforting was a little vinegary. The turkey was well cooked without being overcooked (still tender/juicy). Cranberry sauce was DELIGHTFUL, and the veg was average. The dessert missed the mark as the pecan pie was over-baked, but came with a little American flag, so points for style. The squash soup was my favorite with strong garlic overtones and a truffle oil finish. Can't speak to the drinks as I am unable to drink alcohol for now. Would love the opportunity to try the regular menu, and would come back just for the atmosphere."

"At our table, we noticed that the adjacent table received STK's signature bread right away, while we hadn’t even been offered any. After ordering drinks, we waited about 10 minutes before our waiter came over to ask how everything was. My husband mentioned that we were still waiting for our drinks, which arrived shortly after he asked. We ordered our meals, and my husband chose the calamari starter, which was impressively large. We both opted for steaks. As we were enjoying our conversation, another couple seated nearby received their bread and dip almost immediately. This made me wonder if we had been forgotten, so I asked a staff member if we had missed out on something.... we were indeed overlooked, but thankfully the bread came shortly after. Once our food was finally ready, it was delivered by a different waiter (a runner) to a table next to us and just left there instead of being brought to us. After a while, we managed to get another waiter’s attention to bring our food over. When our meals did arrive, they were quite nice. The asparagus was good, and the truffle fries were delightful—hard to go wrong with deep-fried fries, really. After finishing our meals, we had empty plates in front of us for about 20 minutes. I wanted to order a warm cookie, but at that point, I had lost interest in what was meant to be a special meal, and we just wanted to return to our suite. When we finally asked for the bill, it seemed they were aware we weren't completely satisfied. The bill was £140 after a discount (I had opted out of the optional service fee of £17.50), but we were actually charged £152. I didn't bother to argue about it. For a restaurant that prides itself on its service, we expected much better."

"We had an overall good Sunday roast experience. For starters the pig’s head terrine and piccalilli were excellent but the scallops ceviche was a joke, no seasoning and presentation was poor, a handful of gems lettuce sprinkled with two(? thin sliced scallops, avoid that at all cost especially the £17.50 we were charged for. The Angus beef roast was delicious, very well cooked and tender. Trimmings were nice especially the green beans and gravy. I asked for more gravy unfortunately it came 10mins later and was cold. Dessert was succulent, crepes Suzette were perfect! The service was very pleasant especially the host at the front desk! Merci beaucoup!! All in all I will come back."

"We ordered the £90 steak for two to share for a special occasion. It took an hour for our starter to come out, and the steak was not of good quality, with a tough, chewy exterior and lots of fat. The portion of the steak that was cooked properly was tasty, but overall it was not worth the money. The table next to us had the same dish and it looked much better. We were unhappy with the service as our order was forgotten and the steak was rushed when it finally came out. However, the manager handled our complaint well by giving us a 30% discount on our bill and offering us a delicious dessert. Overall, the restaurant has a nice atmosphere, but I probably wouldn't return as the quality of the food seems inconsistent."

"We enjoyed the pre-theater menu with the kids, and the children's menu was excellent. The service was outstanding, and the pre-theater menu included a lovely glass of Prosecco, which I typically don't enjoy, but this one was quite nice, especially thanks to my ticket booking offer. I had some delicious wings and a fantastic steak, while the kids opted for burgers. Everything was great, and we left very happy!"

"We visited the Comedor on a whim to try have something a bit different. We had eaten at some steakhouses in London and as an Australian are quite spoilt for good cuts of beef which had become apparent throughout the week. This was the first place I was completely overwhelmed with the quality of meat and the spectacular cooking. The service was a bit slow to start but as there were only 2 waitresses available we gave them some leniency on that. The staff were friendly and respect the meat when one of our companions ordered a particular cut of meat to be done well done' she told him that will become very tough and suggested a cheaper cut which would benefit more from his preferred cooking...read more"

"Popped in today at 6pm with my dad, now I used to go to this restaurant with my dad, friends and family all the time and the two male waiters /bar tenders were fab. Today I showed up without a booking and there was only...one couple at the table. I asked if they could fit us in bearing in mind it was just about to be 6pm and they said they had no availability bearing in mind the restaurant was empty, they said if I had a reservation which I said I didn’t. Anyway we left, going outside I said to my dad that it was weird they never have treated me that way before so we quickly went online to book a table. What a coincidence there was a table available at 6:15 and 6:30pm for two people. Extremely disappointed and won’t be going back the girls attitudes were abysmal, pitty the waiter guy was at another table I bet he would have sat us down at a table straight away and welcomed us with a friendly smile like he always did. Won’t be going back and very very poor attitude and service from the 3 girls at the entrance and bar. I guess they didn’t fancy working today."

"There is just something so satisfying about a quality steak that can't be replicated or replaced by anything else. The thought of looking at a plate while a massive slab of meat stares back is a sight that sends shivers down my primal spine. But it is a risky game; get a bad steak and you'll be regretting your decision till the cows come home. So where does one turn when in need of a steak fix? For me, the search always starts at Hawksmoor. Numbering 6 strong across the UK (with 5 being in London), Hawksmoor is committed to showcasing the best beef Britain has to offer and is uncompromising in that pursuit. Hawksmoor doesn't take shortcuts and the evidence is in the product. Sending me off on my steak odyssey was a starter of fillet steak tartare which was a delight. Fresh and tender mince was combined with capers, gherkin and an egg yolk to produce a pure taste which was incredible. Understandably, tartare may not be everyone's bag but if it is, this is a must. Onto the main event and as a raw beef lover it was the rump steak for me, which at £18 for 400g of protein represented insane value especially considering the quality of the meat and preparation. Dare I say it, it was one of the best steaks I've had in my lifetime; so soft and tender, the beef cooked to utter perfection with a respect to the natural flavours of the beef which shone through. For those with a more refined taste though, a selection of cuts is available from sirloin to ribeye to fillet however don't forgot to check the blackboard of special cuts of the day which for those with a real appetite to satisfy. But a steak alone does not make a meal and at Hawksmoor, this is understood as sides of triple cooked chips and smoked bone marrow more than hold their own. The mac and cheese however, is something flat entirely and to call it a side almost seems to be disrespectful but such is the quality of the beef that it is stuck on the bench. But to miss this would be a crime. Struggling to stand, our meal at Hawksmoor stopped here but what a meal it was. If you love steak, this is your holy ground. Come hungry. "Our visit didn’t start out so well as we struggled to find the entrance! Some better signage would be good, especially as the doors aren’t marked and look more like a goods entrance! We were seated right opposite one set of doors and since they were automated we were blasted with cold air for a while each time someone came in or left. We thought it wasn’t worth asking to move since it was busy and now where better to put us, and that things would settle once the lunch covers were all in, but then people started cutting through to use the restaurant as a short cut to get into the hotel! This just spoiled the ambience for us as we were cold and ended up watching the door. The staff were however lovely and the food and drinks great. I realised afterwards that my main was listed on the menu (in its title) as having walnuts with it, but I didn’t get any with my dish so that was a shame (I’d have mentioned if I’d realised at the time). The Jerusalem artichoke soup, ricotta and truffle ravioli, and olive oil martini were our highlights, and we’d recommend."

"The problem with having an eponymous restaurant Mr. Ramsey is that when your staff mistreats its customers, it reflects poorly on you. The horrible service would have been comical had we not been celebrating a birthday and career accomplishment. The waiter rudely chastised us for not listening when he asked who wanted sparkling water and who wanted still, seemingly having complete amnesia from our order just 5 mins earlier. When we casually shuffled the waters to the right person, he offered, unsolicited, it is not my fault you received the wrong waters, you weren 't listening. Our jaws hit the table. Later, we attempted to smooth over Watergate by explaining that we could not hear him in the loud restaurant (he seemed to only mouth his words instead of vocalize them). He responded you can 't expect me to raise my voice. Why yes, that 's exactly what we expected. We ordered burgers (two medium rare and one medium well) and fish and chips. After we said medium rare, he seemed to mouth the words medium well but we couldn 't actually hear him, he was still mouthing words and our lip reading skills were not up to task. Oddly, our food arrived less than a minute after we placed our order and when we inquired of the food runner which were medium rare, he responded, with condescension that they were all medium well and the restaurant was not licensed to serve meat any other way. What a surprise. The bottoms of the buns were complet lt soggy, indicating that they had been prepared long before we ordered them. Had it just been bad food, we might not have sworn off future visits to your restaurants. However, the fact that the staff felt unapologetically entitled to berate us is something that we can 't get past. That behavior comes from the top. Badly done Mr. Ramsey. Badly done indeed."

"Our experience from start to finish was outstanding. We were warmly welcomed by the staff upon arrival, and it only got better from there. The food was exceptional, accompanied by prompt service from the team, just as we expected. We ended the evening with a few cocktails, and the mojitos we had were among the best we've ever tasted. My wife and I visit Windsor once a year, and we will definitely be returning to Meat in the Parish in the future."

"This place does not need a review and does not need an introduction. It is enough to say that it corresponds to the name and hype. You can clearly see the work that was put in the creation of the menu and the atmosphere of a restaurant. Everything was great to the smallest detail. The service was phenomenal and the establishment of the restaurant was great. I didn't even get the food. I ordered the spicy tuna attarsizer that was meaningful. Really some of the better tuna I had all over the world. Then I ordered the pig bell with one side of Makkaroni cheese. Both were dressed to perfection and tasted amazing. The pig belly came with a kind of apple sauce (from my bad description), which combined amazingly. Mostly the letter to confirm that this place really lives on the hype."

"It was nice but nothing more. The food reasonable but not good value. We were a party of two and one of the mains came up with a long black hair on it and instead of removing all the food whilst a replacement was being cooked, my main and the sides were left on the table for the 10-15 minutes it took to replace so was cold. The server did all he could but the manager was nowhere to be seen. Two happy hour drinks were removed from the bill as a gesture. You can eat at much better places in London for less."

"Excellent taste, value for money and amazing service. The meat was so tender and juicy that we wish we could eat more! I have tried their offer of express menu, 3 courses for £23, that’s a steal deal! Burger with blue cheese was so good too! Staff is very accommodating and friendly, they even helped us with the bikes and locked them in safe space so we could enjoy our meals!"
