"I went to this historical pub for dinner. The service at the bar was just okay, with two young girls more focused on their conversation than serving customers. The beer was good, but it's hard to go wrong with beer. They only serve pies, and while the meal was nicely presented, it wasn't hot enough and we've had better pies in London. Overall, it might be a better place to grab a beer rather than have a full meal."

"So at first it look really cute outside and in, the menu seemed to have a nice selection and staff seemed friendly. Then we ordered and it arrived within 10 minutes during a busy lunch service (not cooked fresh then) and my burger was SO dry and overdone (not that anyone asked how I liked it done) that it crumbled when I cut the burger in half. I had to ask for mayo, ketchup and salt pepper for the chips and to make the burger edible. But it took the waitress 20 minutes to do that, and then we had to wait 40 minutes for: someone remembering our table, asking for the bill delivering the bill and paying. Shocking. Never going back."

"Friends and I had drinks here. Brilliant ambience, they have a heated outdoor space too. Lovely cocktails and the food was scrumptious. Definitely try the Salmon Bellini. But what really was great about this place was the manager, Manuelle. What a gentleman and great conversationist. We had some issues with our table, which he immediately sorted and was a brilliant host the whole night. Would definitely recommend this place for speakeasy drinks and nibbles night, as there is music, but you can also actually hear each other talk without getting that scratchy throat the next day! 10/10."

"I had an amazing experience at this restaurant for my birthday. The owners, Graham and Rob, gave me a card which was a very thoughtful gesture. The courtyard at the back has been nicely renovated with heaters for chilly evenings. The food was exceptional, even for my non-vegan family members. This restaurant is a great place to try vegan food for the first time. Supporting local independent eateries like this one is what makes Cornwall such a special place. Don't wait until it's too late to appreciate these unique establishments. Investing in local businesses like this one will not disappoint you. The owner went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, answer our questions about the food, and take the time to chat with us. I am excited to visit again soon."

"I go to a lot of events where I get to eat delicious food and drink amazing drinks, but what I particularly love doing is meeting the people behind these brands. A couple of weeks ago I headed to Village East on Bermondsey Street for a private dinner with the family who own and run Venezuelan rum brand, Ron Diplomatico. The evening started with one of the best cocktails I've had in a while. I don't know if it was that I wasn't expecting to actually like it as I'm not a fan of sweet cocktails (which I thought it would be), or that it was so unlike anything I've tried, but the almond daiquiri, made with Diplomatico Blanco rum, Orgeat (almond) syrup, fresh lime and Bob's Abbott's bitters...read more"

"my friends and I visited the cuvee viii last week for a place to lunch. we thought as eating out to help was still on, we would test a little fancier than our typical high street restaurant chain. the best decision. adrian and another beautiful waitress sat my friends until I arrived, and took us in the inner, when a few people started to smoke on their terrace. the decor in every room is beautiful! they have 2 bars, one closer to the terrace, and one before the entrance next to the it area they can eat in both rooms and each area feels like another experience. they even showed us the private room for the rent on the upper floor, which also has a bar and a stunning space. the terrace/outside area was nice, I would like to enjoy more, but they allow smoking (a little bit for me, unfortunately) it is still completely enclosed so that it does not escape like the smoke. Nevertheless, this does not take away from the beauty of this opposite, in cooler climates I can see that they have heating outside to warm it a little. this part is attached to a bar area that looks like an ingenious nightclub. next time I'll be in the dining room, as it gets colder out. very exciting, as they still participate in the regulation in september. I had the lobster mac n cheese, and my friends had the pizzeria and veggie burger. the chef is brilliant! later we learned that he was a Michelin Star chef who appeared on master chef. the merciful produced a beautiful **** for me, as I do not drink, and the cocktails of my friend were amazing after them. this is a legitimate cocktailable, with bar employees who really know what they do, our drinks were an artwork. I would give the personal, service, decor, eat, cleanliness and cook 5 stars. I enjoyed this tasty and will be back, it is soothing to see them regularly clean all the surfaces, the floor, and wear masks, the toilets we also very clean that is quite rare in the rule."

"We called into social board on a visit to Brighton and WOW was we pleased we did! Food was amazing, between the two of us we had 2 smaller sandwiches and shared a portion of Katsu fries. My Philly sandwich was amazing the other half had the halloumi sandwich that was superb and those Katsu fries are to dye for!! Great location, cool venue , friendly and knowledgeable staff around their menu and the food was amazing! Such a shame we don’t live closer or social board would definitely be one of my go to places"

"As you’d expect in Long Melford this pub is a jumble of rooms, all pleasantly presented. The rear patio and garden offers sunny and shady spots. Dog friendly. The Swan seems to be leaning towards a wine bar, bistro vibe most noticeable in the menu, which was sorely lacking in lighter options at lunchtime. Not a sandwich in sight and the only real contender, a chicken Caesar salad, was off. I’m not a fussy eater but struggled, eventually opting for a pleasant but unremarkable gazpacho. My wife went for a more substantial tuna dish which was very good. Presented with new potatoes, boiled egg and a mound of olives it was pleasant but too much for a light lunch. Service was friendly and smooth. Go there if you have a hearty appetite but there are plenty of alternatives nearby."

"My absolute favourite place to eat, and chill. From the setting, the atmosphere to the cool friendly staff but of course the main star of the show being the fabulous food, I just love it here! Have eaten nearly everything on the menu and try something new each time we visit as they have seasonal changes. I’m always happy, always satisfied and feel good about supporting an indie business that strive to do everything sustainably. We’ve brought non-vegans for brunch and they were just as pleased with the food as we vegans are. The coffee is also insanely good, and we always get some sweet treats from the cabinet when paying as they are so tempting and give us that afternoon boost later in the day on our travels around Exeter."

"I had made a reservation for the Islington location, but upon arrival, it was closed for maintenance. I tried calling the Camden location, but no one answered. I then made a reservation for the Camden location through Open Table, but when we arrived, they were closing early even though their website stated they were open until 9 pm. It was disappointing as we were celebrating our anniversary and were looking forward to trying their menu. I would recommend avoiding using Open Table as there seems to be a communication problem."

"What a charming little spot! We decided to have dinner here after hearing they were gluten-free friendly, and they truly offered some fantastic options for everyone. The food was creative, delicious, and healthy—and my gin drink was absolutely delightful. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the staff was both friendly and attentive. The only downside was that the sticky toffee pudding cake was a little dry. Overall, I highly recommend dining here!"

"Interestingly eclectic space which combines a small Neighborhood market, butcher shop, a wine store, and a deli with an extensive hot food bar fullOf yummy southern comfort foods, delicious broad spectrum of made to order sandwiches including a Cuban and Banh Mi. They also have a friendly, helpful staff. We had Banh Mi (not exactly like I have had before, but very tasty) served with some yummy chips and we topped it off with a slice of Italian cake which was a genuine slice of heaven. There are plenty of tables available and real cutlery so you don’t have to fumble w/plastic junk. Worth the quick trip From downtown."

"This cafe is a small gem serving delicious and authentic food and drinks at very competitive prices, even compared to popular chain cafes like Greggs, Pret A Manger, and Cafe Nero nearby. It's no wonder locals consistently choose Ned's Cafe as their favorite spot. The friendly staff provide excellent service with a smile and accept card payments for convenience. This is not your typical place for overpriced fancy sandwiches, but a spot where you can enjoy a delicious bacon, sausage, and egg sandwich with a perfectly runny yolk."

"We visited Luck Kuh based on a recommendation and were not disappointed. This quirky pub is the smallest in the Lake District and offers many vegan options. We tried the Craftys three cheese garlic dazzle with vegan cheese for £9.00, which was clearly marked as a vegan option. Although we had to wait a long time, it was definitely worth it. The portion was filling, so be warned that you might not need dinner afterwards. The dish was presented on a platter with coleslaw, crispy root vegetables, and a pear, all of which were very tasty. They also serve Whitley Neill gin, which is all vegan (except the rhubarb flavor according to their website, so be sure to check before ordering). The atmosphere and music were great as well! "Been here many times and always have a great experience. The menu is interesting. There are a few alternatives apart from the “boring poached eggs with different seasoning”. The price is good a little bit lower than other same kind of cafe. The service is good too always friendly and attentive. Highly recommended."

"Ok I cannot complain about the coffee itself choice of espressos and served hot along with water perfect. But slow service few places to sit and then only cakes on offer. What happened to all the food options that made this place special. No melted cheese sandwiches for starters! his is what made Cairngorm stand out and a destination for coffee... now I may go if I need a fix and I am in the close vicinity optherwise I'll look elsewhere. Shame. As said in other reviews I do wonder if this is COVID enforced changes but almost every place I have been recently is severely lacking. We all understand the pressures but paying the same price for 50% of the service/product doesn't make anyone feel good."

"the first time I was and will not be the last! how have I lived in ilkeston for so long and never tried to drop this place! to fall early and absolutely loved! while not the cheapest breakfast, the quality of the products more than for them. the location was tastefully done, and the staff is friendly and attentive. I love the fact that they also have a small art gallery and show local talent. two small suggestions for the owners. 1) they offer greater flexibility on orders. we wanted to order a few halloumi with breakfast next to our order (sometimes what can be ordered with another breakfast), but they said we couldn't. 2) offer more than a size of hot drink. small points but overall an excellent first visit."

"I always felt a bit hesitant to go into ‘MONO’ as it seemed a bit too trendy for me ! Today I took the plunge and was pleasantly surprised. Ciara took care of me and directed me to a window table. I was served a nice tofu dish, beetroot couscous. It did take a wee while to arrive and it would have been nice if the dinner bowl had been warmed. Then the dessert came courtesy of the lovely Gemma! Steamed coconut sponge with raspberry and ice cream, delicious! Dessert was complimented with a creamy soy latte. I’m glad I visited. It was a nice experience. I know that ‘MONO’ stands by inclusion but I do believe that there should be a traditional ladies bathroom for traditional ladies if that makes sense. It has nothing to do with intolerance of others but a matter of personal choice. Which inclusion is surely about."
