Good spot for a casual night out. Good burger and chips. Not very big but good atmosphere. Outdoor patio when weather permits.

Fabulous burgers combined with super friendly staff- the lady in the red dress mixed a fab negroni we would definitely recommend and will return some day !

Can not fault this restaurant. Food was utterly delicious and the service was impeccable. Would come again and again. Have the pink the lemonade margaritas they are fab!!!

AMAZING. Amazing food beer cheese sauce has to be tried to be believed. Staff could not have been friendlier despite having a LARGE group and our 5 and others in it’s relatively compact inside, but all to the good. Prices, quality, service, all some of the best we’ve had in recent years.

It was our third visit to Free State Kitchen and the burgers and service were excellent as usual that is why we keep coming back. This time we also had the apple pie made from home grown apples. This was an unexpected and absolutely fantastic addition to the restaurant's offering.. We will be returning in apple season next year but aim to come back many times before then. View menu

This restaurant is amazing! My friends and I came here for a meal and despite being a large group, were accommodated on short notice and treated like bars of gold. The staff are so friendly and the food equally as delicious; the atmosphere and the care the staff put into this place is phenomenal! Thank you for making our friends stag meal enjoyable and putting up with us, cannot recommend this place enough!

I haven’t been here for a few years, so was interested to see if it was still as good. We came on a Saturday afternoon and sat outside in the garden. Our waiter was brilliant. Really friendly and helpful and steered us in the right direction when we couldn’t decide which burgers to choose. The burgers were amazing and I like that they ask you how you want it cooked. Fries and sides were super tasty we had two sides to share between the four of us washed down with a nice bottle of wine. We were too full to want any desserts unfortunately! I certainly won’t leave it as long till I come here again. Can highly recommend.

We don't get to Liverpool very often, but when we do we try and get to FSK. This time didn't disappoint, as usual we were greeted by friendly staff and nothing was too much trouble. As we had our dog with us we had originally booked a table outside (after checking we were okay to bring her), however with it being possibly the wettest day of the year and fairly quiet in the restaurant (we'd gone for an early tea) we were asked if we'd prefer to be seated inside. My husband chose the current special which is the beer cheese dip burger and I had the double french onion. Having learned from previous visits we didn't add any sides to the order as the burgers and fries are generally enough for us.... View menu
