"I absolutely love the fact that they serve breakfast all day! I honestly wish more places would do this. I always eat breakfast at different times. Sometimes you feel like eggs or porridge in the afternoon. Good on them! It was quiet on a Tuesday late afternoon early evening. Very hot day. As per most branches, wooden country cottage feel interior. For me, LPQ have always been hit and miss with any branch you visit, be it food quality, service or cleanliness. Branch was clean. Staff were really pleasant and friendly and service was fast (I am guessing this was because they were quiet). Good menu from all day breakfast to tartines, salads, breads, soups, juices, pastries, desserts and more. Vegan's are well catered for. I had the scrambled eggs on toast with roasted portobello mushrooms and a fresh orange juice. The breakfast came with two big slices of toasted bread and a side of butter. The portion size was big which justifies the price. Not cheap at all! Well presented and freshly made. Yes, I could have made this at home. Nothing out of the ordinary but nice. As I said staff were nice and happy for me to use the free wifi and do some work at the same time. I don't often frequent this branch but came by a few months ago as well when were in lockdown C-19 pandemic and got the spinach and pine nut swirl take away which was also good. Filling and tasty and not greasy. They even threw in free chocolates as it was near Easter. Let's be honest, LPQ do well on plain and simple home comforts. Nothing out of the ordinary. Branches have a nice atmosphere and staff are pleasant most of the time. Food and cleanliness are hit and miss."

"My friend and I decided to go to Notting Hill for breakfast and after walking around for a bit we decided on Farm Girl. Big mistake. Initially we walked in and were seated quickly, it had a nice atmosphere and so far everyone seemed friendly. After being seated, a small card stated the menu was online and could be viewed using a QR code, which is a great way to move forward in hospitality to avoid paper wastage but you might want to think twice about this option when your building has no cell service and your free 'wifi ' works slower than my grandma climbing the stairs at 95. Our order was taken, we weren 't asked about any allergies (which we both had but ordered carefully), the food arrived quickly but my god... We get it, everything 's expensive in London but ÂŁ14.50 for TWO pancakes with a spoonful of mashed up cherries and ÂŁ10.50 for a slice of bread with some avocado?! RIDICULOUS! The tables next to us were also complaining at the prices of their breakfast once the food arrived and realised how appalling the portions are. My friend and I love supporting smaller businesses and expect to pay slightly more in support of these, but this was just atrocious. Not one server had returned to the table to check if our food was alright or if we wanted anything else. Once finished, we actually managed to access the QR code to pay the bill and a service charge had been placed ontop of the already extortionate amount. Now as someone who has worked in hospitality myself for 4 years, I 'm more than happy to pay service charge as well as leaving cash tips. Not this time. Paying service charge would 've meant we 'd actually been served, we hadn 't. My friend asked for the service charge to be removed to which the waiter nodded then went back to the till, bad mouthed us to his coworker who turned around to look at us both (making uncomfortable eye contact) he then returned and we paid straight away. My friend and I both left straight away, thanking the staff but we were blanked completely. Note to farm girl: sort yourself out, you may be popular with tourists but eventually you 'll be out of business."

"We visited on Saturday, the night before the marathon. We booked a table. Came in, seen it was busy, so thought this is going to be good. We were seated late which was fine, no problem. We sat next to another couple, (tables were close) we ordered some drinks then our meal. Drinks arrived on our table, weren’t ours, it was the next table. We waited an hour for our starters, tables were coming in and getting served. A table of 6/8 came in and got their starter and mains before us. There was a lot of cross words at the boy in the hair band which I thought he was doing all the work and was very kind if I am honest. Garlic bread came was so dry. They kept going by saying have you eaten? Have you ordered? Have you had mains? Our mains came out an hour later and they didn’t know who it was for. The table next to us actually had to point out it was our food they heard our order. Being a restaurant manager I would like to say… 1. Don’t argue or talk to staff badly, anywhere, but especially not on the floor, I actually think it was maybe husband and wife, it’s not good in front of customers and I know it’s hard and frustrating work, but I don’t even think any of the customers were being rude, the people I heard ask where food was were all being polite. 2. We understand it was busy and every business needs money but don’t take in more people than you should. 3. When you sneeze please do it into your arm and not your hands then don’t wash them, I genuinely couldn’t believe it, hygiene is huge, especially in catering. I’m genuinely shocked I still ate my food after the person touched my plate later on. as they didn’t go anywhere near a sink or a sanitizer. Our mains were lovely. I hope the famous athlete who was in the restaurant at the same time got his food on time and amazing service. But, I do genuinely believe on a normal busy night this restaurant would be fine, just a few tweaks needed. 2 stars lost due to my hygiene comment and how they were openly arguing with one another."
