"Although the name suggests the menu to be high non understandable, but surprisingly its as desi and can be moulded according to your taste. The first experience was very good, the wait staff was cordial and customised everything according to my taste. But the second time, there was the most rude staff who said nothing is available. Bad experience the second time around. But still would recommend going at least once here. Your luck if you get the good wait staff or the bad one."

"Overall just a bit awkward. Taco starter lovely. The tattie scone nachos a tad overpriced for what it is but tasted alright. Service a tad slow to get going and not much of an ambiance. I feel the drinks and food here are a good few pounds more expensive than they should be and it’s probably down to location. Pork steak thing came in a bowl with a normal knife making it very difficult to get at and the fajitas were bits of bland, grilled chicken with no hint of seasoning or flavour. This dish too is a bit difficult to assemble given it was all served on one plate. The four slivers of pepper were far from enough. £17 for a cocktail and a 175ml glass of wine, whilst advertised and priced correctly on the menu, is kinda taking the mick in my opinion. We popped in on a different day for just a drink and £4.99 for a small can of cider also falls into that category. Doubt we’ll be rushing back when we inevitably return to Oban . They’ll likely not miss us given it’s usually busy, so they obviously are confident in what they offer and their prices."

"Set in the picturesque village of Blakeney where you can enjoy a walk before or after dinner, The Moorings has a simple yet pleasant decor where the team work hard to prepare fresh (mainly) fish dishes without a chip in sight. As with all fresh food restaurants the menu isn't over-long but provides plenty of choice. On the evening that we visited they were full and perhaps a little overworked as the wait was a tiny bit longer than you might expect but it was worth the wait. And they're busy for a reason. The desserts weren't quite up to the rest of the menu (sorry Angela) but our group throughly enjoyed our visit and would happily return."

"Oh my goodness, the food at this restaurant was exceptional! We started with the prawn noodle dish to share as a starter, followed by half a lobster and chips each for our main course. For dessert, we enjoyed some delicious doughnuts. We also tried a couple of cocktails which were fantastic. The staff were incredibly helpful and even helped us find a taxi when we couldn't get through to any numbers. Despite its unassuming exterior, I would highly recommend booking in advance as the restaurant was quite busy on a Tuesday evening when we arrived at 5pm. The quality of the food and service was on par with Michelin-starred restaurants. I would even travel from London just to have dinner here. I can't praise this place enough - we only have a few more days here, but we will definitely be coming back before we leave. Food: 5, Service: 5, Atmosphere: 5."

"I had a fantastic meal last night at Kia’s after finally visiting, even though I’ve lived just a minute away for the past four years! The menu offers so many choices that it took me quite a while to decide. I ended up choosing the Pesto Al Verde, which is fettuccine pasta with pesto, garlic, white wine, and cream, topped with pine nuts, arugula, and fresh Parmesan. It was the creamiest pasta I’ve ever tasted—absolutely divine! The portion size was generous, too. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, always eager to help. I can’t wait to return and try more dishes from the menu. Thank you for a lovely evening, Kia’s! Vegetarian options: There are plenty of choices for vegetarians! Even though I'm not vegetarian, I opted for a veggie dish because it sounded so delicious, and it truly was!"

"Visited here over the weekend. Diabolical service.. managers didnt know the head to their foot never mind how to serve a table.. 3 things we tried to order after waiting for 15 minutes that wasnt on the menu.. we complained after being there for 55 minutes and only receiving our starters to hear the managers stood slandering us.. and creamy mushrooms? Ive had more cream in a bourbon biscuit.. Didnt even get to try the main as we cancelled them.. 4 tables in the whole building and saying its busy! Ridiculous766 excellent reviews?? Them 766 are obviously not mentally there or used to a mcdonalds... i mean fast food takeouts have more manners than this place. If i had the option i would give a minus rating.. not even worth a 1!. Try some team training meetings on customer service and how to speak to people."

"Popped in for lunch with my two dachshunds and wow, was greeted so well by Stephen behind the bar, a definite asset to the business. Came made sure the dogs had snacks water and took time to engage with all 3 of us, checking we were happy with everything. Food arrived very quickly really was first class. Had the fish gujon ciabatta with fries leafy salad. Other staff also engaged well with us. Decor is beautiful throughout the pub it genuinely feels cosy homely.Hadn't visited for many years but I highly, highly recommend this place. 5* Price per person: £10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5"

"So we went to the restaurant with some friends the other day. I dropped my partner and her friend at the entrance until I parked since there is no parking in front of the restaurant and one of them is pregnant. It took me a total of 19 minutes to park the car and het back to the restaurant during those 10 minutes the waiter went twice to ask them if they'd like something to drink and although they initially replied that they were waiting for their partners he sent the manager out the bar to ask them in a more intimidating way and so they ordered water. Highlighting that this happened in between 10 minutes. When we arrived at the restaurant, we ordered the roasted bread, which you can actually see it wasn't roasted or warm. By the time our mains arrived the table next to us was empty and remained empty for until the time we left so made me question why the staff asked my partner a few times on what they would have making it look as they were in a hurry since there was ppenty of sitting space within the restaurant. During the whole time we were in the restaurant, there were a few flies around us which you wouldn't really expect in an indoor space restaurant of this price point. The food was amazing. We had 2 of the hake fillet and the sea bream. On the other hand my friend who ordered the sea bream was expecting it this with asparagus but instead it came with another green which would be nice to know from before. I got a creme brulee for a desert, the short bread biscuit was amazing the top of the creme was crunchy but yhe inside could have used some extra taste. All in all, if the service wasn't this poor and the flies weren't present, this review could have been way more positive."

"We visited this pub specifically for its location and connections to the television show Midsomer Murders. It is a charming pub in a fantastic location. The young staff who served us were delightful. Two members of our group enjoyed a delicious roast chicken lunch. However, my wife ordered what was listed on the menu as a Vegetarian Tartlet. What was brought to our table was a large Yorkshire pudding, a parsnip, and a couple of roast potatoes. Believing there may have been a mistake and the tartlet was hidden beneath the Yorkshire pudding, we lifted it to find six small, dried-up button mushrooms. We called over the manager to ask about the missing tartlet, and after consulting with the kitchen, he rather bluntly informed us that was the vegetarian option. We asked for it to be removed from the bill. My roast lamb was served lukewarm and the side vegetables were sparse and also lukewarm. The cauliflower cheese was hot but not enough for four people. While we felt the food was reasonably priced, the Vegetarian Tartlet was a disappointment. It seemed more like something DCI Barnaby should investigate under the trades descriptions act, as it was definitely not what was advertised."

"On a cold winters night it was a real pleasure to call into The Five Horseshoes for a wonderful dinner. I have been here a couple of times and am never disappointed as the staff are always very cheerful and welcoming. We were seated at our table and served by Ellie, who was very attentive and pleasant, making sure we had drinks whenever we were getting low and ensuring our order was correct. I had Steak and ale pie and my wife had the Cod. Both were cooked to perfection and compliments to the chef for this. I would recommend calling into this restaurant if you are ever in the Hertford area."

"Visited today for a Christmas present exchange with family, it was half way between where we live and where they live and purely booked for convenience. Lovely pub, the staff were excellent and we felt extremely safe and nicely distanced from other tables and the lunch was lovely. It’s beautiful inside and the menu has something for everyone and is good value and there’s plenty of parking. They were busy , but we were kept informed and didn’t wait too long and I would recommend. Thank you"

"We were pleasantly surprised with our Sunday lunch reservation at this restaurant. While the menu featured Beef Brisket roast, the specials board offered a variety of other options including Fish and Chips. We decided to order one roast and one fish and chips. The roast was outstanding, with flavorful and tender meat, crispy roast potatoes, carrots, rich gravy, crunchy Yorkshire pudding, and delicious broccoli/cauliflower cheese. The fish was accompanied by a crispy batter, perfectly cooked chips, creamy peas, and tartare sauce. My wife even declared the Fish and Chips as some of the best she had ever tasted. Parking is limited, with space for only a few cars."

"This pub is fantastic with amazing food and friendly staff. The average price per person is between £20–30. The food, service, and atmosphere all receive a perfect 5-star rating. I would highly recommend trying the Atlantic Battered Cod and Chips with Sourdough Bread and Scampi, as well as the Mushroom Ale Pie."

"Pleasant atmosphere for this restaurant where we ate very well by reserving for 8 p.m. Very varied and local menu (mussels, langoustines, haddock, salmon) but also chicken, pasta...special mention for the sea bass and its scallop risotto. Impeccable service, especially since we asked to change tables because they were too close to the kitchens for the one assigned to us. I recommend! Service: Dine in"

"This was definitely the highlight of our trip to Tobermory. The food was fantastic (we had four servings of mussels and a ham sandwich), and the service was warm and friendly. The prices were reasonable, and the atmosphere felt very welcoming. If you're in Tobermory, this place is a must-visit. As for kid-friendliness, my children are teenagers, so it wasn’t something we needed to consider, but I did notice that the bathroom had excellent baby changing facilities. We enjoyed a lovely lunch here."

"Unfortunately, my hopes for a pleasant meal with my daughter and granddaughter were dashed at this restaurant. We waited for over an hour before anyone approached our table. The lack of heating in the restaurant, with temperatures outside at 7 degrees, was not communicated to us beforehand. Despite the restaurant being nearly empty, except for a large group already dining, we received slow service while the other party was attended to promptly. The explanation given was that only two staff members were working that day, which seemed inadequate for the size of the establishment. The food quality was mediocre at best, with my smothered chicken being too tough to cut. Ultimately, we left most of our meals uneaten and went elsewhere for a quick bite. It felt like £50 was wasted, as the experience was disappointing. Unfortunately, we will not be returning. On a positive note, there was ample parking available outside, though the disabled spaces were not designated."

"We visited Oggi meaning today) on a cold November evening. The restaurant was brimming with people already at 6.45, so much so we skipped down to a local for 29 minutes until our table became available. The owner f the restaurant brought us delicious olives and bruschetta while we studied the menu. We were a table of 3 couples, four of whom had been close uni mates of 40 years. There was lots to catch up on, tears and laughter and clinking of glasses. The service was professional as yoi would expect from a good Italian restaurant. I am hard to please. I love good food, cooked well and this food was certainly the most delicious Italian I have eaten. Fat, sweet scallops in their shells, grilled with butter, cream and fine cheese. Rich and delicious. Fat, juicy king prawns cooked to perfection in a spicy tomato and garlic sauce. Thank goodness for the bread to mop up the delicious flavours. We ate pasta Oggi linguini with seafood, fresh cannelloni with ricotta and spinach, the best I have eaten, with such fresh flavours. We had fungi risotto with truffle oil and a portion big enough to feed two! We chose an organic Nero D’Avola from a single estate in Sicily. It was superb. Our host sang to us, recited beautiful poetry and brought a tear to our eyes with his generosity of sprit and honesty. I think each of us loved our experience and came away with a warm spot in our hearts for Reno and his superb Oggi, We will be back, for sure."

"Lovely restaurant. Lovely vibe. Dog friendly in seating area which is covered with strong heaters. Food amazing. Ordered whole lobster, crab, huge king prawns, smoked bread, cheese board with dessert wine. Atlantic beer was lovely. Prosecco cold crisp. Served by the beautiful, friendly Lily-Grace last night who gave us the food recommendations. Will definitely be back soon with friends. If you have driven passed, thinking you must try that place.....what are you waiting for? Get in there....you won't be disappointed. ENJOY!!!!"

"Definitely one to go out of your way for. Beautiful evening spent here with spectacular food. We had the Hot Meat Pizza and Bouillabaisse, which were both delicious. Would have definitely had one of the desserts if we could have fitted it in! Definitely recommend trying the cocktails too. The Apple Mojito was perfectly refreshing whilst watching the sun go down out of the floor to ceiling windows. Service was friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much for the staff. I would recommend parking just up the hill- it's on the right on your way down. Reasonably priced or free after 6pm. Just a short walk away. Definitely recommend!"

"We visited this restaurant for the first time today, and we were not disappointed! The food was cooked to perfection, the service was fast, and the staff were friendly and efficient. The atmosphere was cozy, and the entire place was impeccably clean. Plus, there is convenient parking and a wheelchair-accessible entrance. The Christmas decorations looked fantastic as well! This restaurant is a testament to a great team. Don’t hesitate to visit; there’s a wide selection of food and drinks on the menu at very reasonable prices! We will definitely be back! The hours are from 8:00 AM to 11:00 PM during the week and from 7:00 AM to 11:00 PM on weekends."
