"We went there for Sunday brunch to catch up with friends. I must give the place full marks for ambience and live jazz music. Setting is very pretty a mixture of modern western and Indian grandeur. Coming to food itself, drinks menu is very creative especially the way coconut water (currently very trendy) is exploited in various drinks. Starters had great variety -mix of Indian street food (pao bhaji, bhel puri, bhalla, dosa, tikki, paneer tikka, sheekh kebab etc and tasteful. "The Best Restaurant in Blakeney. Truly! Been coming here for a several years now and I’m truly astounded at how phenomenal the food is every single time! Always great service and great menu, too. I just had a meal that reminded me of the very first time I visited and it knocked my socks off just like it did back then! It always makes my stay in Blakeney feel complete and thoroughly spoiled. Edit: just got back from another dinner here 2 days later and they did it again! Another phenomenal meal! Recommended it to another couple we met today, too, and they said they thoroughly enjoyed it as well."

"Superb, friendly service and a brigade performing at top level despite it being New Years day! Every dish perfectly executed and all courses fresh, flavoursome and both aesthetically and palate pleasing. Some really inspired cooking and perfectly balanced flavours for even the most jaded Christmas palate. Even the fries are cooked with love and are crisp and moreish. Such exciting dishes that dessert was swerved in favour of returning to the starters for scallops with a wowsering Hibiki Whisky Bacon Bon Bon. Cocktails are taken seriously here and are equally creative; this is no eatery just tipping its hat at mixology. "I had a fantastic meal last night at Kia’s after finally visiting, even though I’ve lived just a minute away for the past four years! The menu offers so many choices that it took me quite a while to decide. I ended up choosing the Pesto Al Verde, which is fettuccine pasta with pesto, garlic, white wine, and cream, topped with pine nuts, arugula, and fresh Parmesan. It was the creamiest pasta I’ve ever tasted—absolutely divine! The portion size was generous, too. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, always eager to help. "Booked for a special birthday the Guildhall tavern did not disappoint. The food was special and cooked perfectly. We had 3 courses from the main menu. We also , ordered two bottles of wine to accompany the meal. The service was fantastic, when we asked for time before dessert arrived they must have had a stopwatch it was to the second. 30 minutes. The coffee just rounded a wonderful meal. We were not rushed, we even had a conversation with the head manager which was nice. and we were last out. I would highly recommend this establishment. It's not cheap but you get what you pay for and you get quality here. Thank you for an enjoyable time."

"We have visited here on many occasions and found the food to be okay. Sadly the welcome seems to be a struggle for the existing staff these days. Visited and the pub was freezing cold when we asked if the heating could be turned on it was explained it was on …..but broken. Not helpful and the fire was totally inadequate. This is a beautiful old building so has its limitations but no heat when it’s 8 degrees is not acceptable. The food is okay fairly basic but well presented. A smile goes a long way and hides all kind of problems…..sadly missing from this team. We shall not be returning."

"James, our waiter, truly made this dining experience stand out. We got exactly what we were hoping for with a classic Pub Sunday Roast, and the way it was presented was exceptional in every detail. James was friendly and attentive without being overbearing, striking the perfect balance. We were so impressed that we ended up calling other family members to book them in later that day. Well done, James! He nearly convinced us to try the Chocolate Bomb pudding, and while we resisted this time, we’re definitely coming back to sample it based on his heartfelt recommendation. "Eaten here many time and food and service great, however came here on an evening , didn’t expect to get a table but happy to eat outside . Waitress then . Informs me the food we wanted couldn’t be served outside as it was too cold! . Apparently Chef is worried of bad reviews , I said my problem if food went cold but they wouldn’t budge In the meantime others came in and were given a table in front of us ….. "Had a beautiful meal here today with parents. Lovely pub, light and airy with mirrors on walls that reflect light, however remaining cosy with log fires. I'm vegetarian and enjoyed a fantastic mushroom and ale pie with vegan chips and gravy. Garden peas were cooked just right, lovely and sweet. Pie was packed and tasted amazing. This was from the lunch menu for under £10. Staff very friendly, served by a lovely waitress, Kirsty who was very attentive and helpful. Can't wait to go back and try something else from the menu."

"We visited Oggi meaning today) on a cold November evening. The restaurant was brimming with people already at 6.45, so much so we skipped down to a local for 29 minutes until our table became available. The owner f the restaurant brought us delicious olives and bruschetta while we studied the menu. We were a table of 3 couples, four of whom had been close uni mates of 40 years. There was lots to catch up on, tears and laughter and clinking of glasses. The service was professional as yoi would expect from a good Italian restaurant. I am hard to please. I love good food, cooked well and this food was certainly the most delicious Italian I have eaten. Fat, sweet scallops in their shells, grilled with butter, cream and fine cheese. Rich and delicious. Fat, juicy king prawns cooked to perfection in a spicy tomato and garlic sauce. Thank goodness for the bread to mop up the delicious flavours. We ate pasta Oggi linguini with seafood, fresh cannelloni with ricotta and spinach, the best I have eaten, with such fresh flavours. We had fungi risotto with truffle oil and a portion big enough to feed two! We chose an organic Nero D’Avola from a single estate in Sicily. It was superb. Our host sang to us, recited beautiful poetry and brought a tear to our eyes with his generosity of sprit and honesty. I think each of us loved our experience and came away with a warm spot in our hearts for Reno and his superb Oggi, We will be back, for sure."

"Alway been a fan of Chef Brewer as you know you are going to get good food and good value, so have been to many around our area, but The Fairmile is by far the BEST, we were greeted by Shaun who I honestly...thought was the manager by his totally efficient manner, had a lovely table and drinks were on the table in minutes, we had pate and the presentation was excellent, followed by the most succulent rump steak I’ve had in a very long while!!, will definitely be going again , and thank you Shaun for going the extra mile !! "I've been here about three times now with the family, including a wedding reception. Always a fairly stress free trip, plenty of parking and the staff are always friendly. The food is nothing short of excellent.... if you eat meat. The vegetarian options on my last visit were a risotto (I've already had it, you know what you're getting with risotto), a goats' cheese salad, vegetable ravioli and a burger. This time I ordered the burger, having seen what the meat ones look like. When it arrived I honestly thought there had been a mistake. A single slice of lettuce, a single slice of tomato and a deep fried something or other that was so oily I couldn't taste anything else. My Brother's pulled pork burger on the other hand was phenomenal. Why would I eat this when I could get better, for half the price at Wetherspoons? Really lame, really disappointed. It is not that difficult to produce quality vegetarian food. I actually felt quite upset and spent most of the meal staring at my half eaten food. Unfortunately, the next time the Nags Head is suggested I will veto it."

"Popped in for early evening food. It was very busy and had a lovely atmosphere. I ordered duo Korean chicken which was delicious, however it was served minus the kimchi and pickled cucumber ribbons. When eventually I managed to catch someone to ask where they were I was told there hadn't been a delivery. I know this happens but should be told on ordering. Very disappointing. My husband had wild boar sausage and mash. Again beautiful but only 2 sausages and a little mash for £14.99 and extra cost if you wanted to add veg!!!. Totally overpriced ."

"We visited this restaurant for the first time today, and we were not disappointed! The food was cooked to perfection, the service was fast, and the staff were friendly and efficient. The atmosphere was cozy, and the entire place was impeccably clean. Plus, there is convenient parking and a wheelchair-accessible entrance. The Christmas decorations looked fantastic as well! This restaurant is a testament to a great team. Don’t hesitate to visit; there’s a wide selection of food and drinks on the menu at very reasonable prices! We will definitely be back! The hours are from 8:00 AM to 11:00 PM during the week and from 7:00 AM to 11:00 PM on weekends."

"Came here with my boyfriend for lunch and it did not disappoint. I haven’t been here for a couple of years now but always drive by. When we entered, the big fire was on and we were served by the lovely Jamie-Leigh, who is lovely bubbly member of staff! We ordered the signature and the Cajun burgers, both were delicious. "Lively little pub, serving food and drink, where you'll be lucky to get a table or a parking space most of summer. Nice location right by the sea so great place to watch the world go by. Had a nice lunch here with friends and it was all around £25. Ordered drinks and sandwiches, which had generous fillings and came with fries and salad. My friends ham was a bit too thickly sliced for my liking, but they loved it and my grated cheese and pickle was just right for me. Will definitely visit again."

"It was just great to get back to a favourite venue for lunch. We had not been out for lunch more than a couple of times since the start of the lockdown and decided on the spur of the moment to go for a lunch...at the Battle Axes. Spacious car park which is always a plus. Warm welcome from Amanda. We hadn’t booked but she found us a table. Drinks were served and after a look at the extensive menu we were soon served. We both enjoyed our meal. It was good to be back and felt like visiting dear friends. Coffee was good. Toilet was spotless. All together a good visit back at last to a favourite pub.
