"Stayed in Luss for four nights. After having dinner here the first night we decided to dine here the other nights as well. Staff is friendly and helpful. There's plenty of tables but be sure to make a reservation, on weekend it's full. Menu has some really good options on it. And then there are daily specials. Inside it's a nice pub/restaurant. Very comfy and cosy. Our English Bulldog was welcome as well. Then they got a nice selection of drinks at the bar with lots of different and also local whisky. We very much enjoyed the Loch Lomond brand. Here's what we had: Pot of Mussels very nice and very fresh Cheese plate nice selection of scottish cheeses Haggis with sides the BEST haggis I've had so far; fantastic 1/2 dozen Oysters amazingly great oyster; really a must order homemade terrine very enjoyable, but not the best starter on the menu Sunday Roast set menu (once with ham, once with lamb) quite good, but the meat a bit dry Haggis balls my favorite starter, could eat these all day every day Cured salmon sadly not that great Steak Pie a good choice; hot, crispy and creamy Burger and fries a very nice, fresh burger; good quality meat Fish'n'Chips very nicely done, fresh and crispy...and stays crispy to the end All in all they got a really good menu. What's standing out seafood wise are the amazing oysters and wonderful mussels. Meat wise it's definitely the delicious Haggis as a starter or main. Equally great. Surely a place to come back to one day. We enjoyed it."

"This Kerala non veg restaurant is a gem. We tried an option called Travancore Feast (around 20 pounds which we shared between two of us which included almost everything in the menu. It is an excellent option for those who want to try various dishes in one go. It included the following : 1. Pre meal snacks (included a mix of every item under the pre meal snack menu with various chutney (We loved the papadom/Pappadavada/Murukku+Mango chutney combination 2. Starters The seafood soup (so yummy and the prawn chutney was very unique and superb, potato bonda was nice. 3. Curry We thought that the curry portion will be small like other restaurant thalis but that was not the case here. They served each curry in a big white bowl which included 1 fish curry, 1 prawn curry (we swapped it with lamb curry , 1 chicken curry and 1 veg curry (we got peas curry in coconut milk which was very tasty . The best part was the taste was superb. The curries had the same taste of rasa restaurant which is in west london. Upon enquiring we got to know that the chefs worked in rasa restaurants before. 4. Pulao Rice and Kerala Paratha Pulao Rice and fish curry combination were superb. Kerala Paratha was ok. I guess it was made of wheat instead of maida, which is good if u r looking for a healthier option. 5. One Dessert Overall it was great we also ordered Appam which was great with Peas Curry. There is a rasa restaurant opposite to this one but that is pure veg. If you want a kerala non veg option then this is the one (Travancore Restaurant . It is a bit confusing since both of them are painted pink."

"Hubby and I decided to get dinner here as the ratings were super high. We were definitely not disappointed. Upon entering the restaurant, we were instantly greeted and seated by the waiter. His timing is impeccable. He seated us, handed us the menu, and gave us some time to look at the menu. He grabbed our drink order, and our drinks were served within 10 minutes. After that, he took our order, brought us bread, and the timing between the appetizer, mains, and dessert was perfect. The atmosphere of the restaurant was intimate and homey. The food was amazing and on point. Not to mention, the price relative to the quality of the food was very good. We ordered the seafood soup to share, the bake salmon, the duck breast, and we shared the apple and plum dessert. The seafood soup was a large enough portion to share between the two of us, and there were ample amounts of seafood (salmon, mussels, shrimps) that were perfectly cooked and super tender. The bake salmon was perfectly cooked, super tender, and not overdone at all. The duck breast was a perfect medium rare, as I had requested. Both hubby and I were very happy with our meal. And, after ordering two glasses of wine, an appetizer to share, two mains, a side of creamy potatoes, a dessert to share, and a dessert wine, our bill amounted to 80 pounds. We've definitely paid more at other places and we're not as satisfied and happy with our meals Overall, the service was excellent, the food was excellent, and I'd definitely recommend trying this place out. In fact, hubby and I will be back to try more things on this menu. I think we've finally found our neighborhood gem. We definitely say this is among the top restaurant meals we've had in London!"
