"Older waiter/manager rude and unwelcoming. Some of the other waiting staff stressy and abrupt. Didn't feel relaxed with the way they carried on. The female waiting staff were much better than the male waiting staff. Some of the food, including mine was good, some of the other guests food not well-presented and not that good. My partner had venison. Not a good flavour and tough. I expect all meals to be a great standard in a restaurant. That's your business and with something like this should be a passion. As paying customers we should expect a good standard of service and everything to be good quality, not to have sub-standard and rude attitude (from some of you). We are paying your wages. I don't go out and eat that often, so when I do its a shame that the evening is shadowed by this. I won't be going again. I have been to better places that are not so pricey but the all the food was delicious and the staff absolutely lovely. Not so here. By the way, you should get some proper hand paper towel for your dispenser in the bathroom because what was in there was like cheap toilet paper. Oh and don't overbook if you can't handle the numbers. I think your reputation will start to suffer."

"We had pre-booked a table for 6 people to have lunch at 2:15pm. We arrived on time and were shown to the table, which had only been set for 4 people which meant we had to pull a further 2 chairs up to the table, and had to request a wine list. We ordered a round of drinks for the table which took c. 15 minutes to arrive. We were waiting a considerable amount of time for a food menu. Eventually we called a waiter over to order some food and were told that the kitchen we no longer serving, despite having booked a table for lunch and not being warned of the kitchen closing time. The staff told us to be quick in ordering however took a further 10 minutes to come and take the order. The food eventually came and the waitress didn 't even put the food at the correct place, she merely put them on the table for us to distribute accordingly. When the bill eventually came, we politely requested the *optional service charge was removed from the bill as we did not feel that we had received adequate service to warrant a tip, to which the manager began shouting that it as shocking that we wanted to rightfully remove the tip. He went on to say that the kitchen staff had stayed over time to prepare our food. My question to the owner is this... if your chefs are unwilling to work over their hours, why are you offering a reservation close to closing time whilst your staff are incapable of processing the orders to the kitchens in the correct timescale and working hours. If we were told that the kitchen were closing soon, we would have cooperated with the staff to help them work to their time scales."

"The restaurant has a lovely ambience. Although the dress code is strictly smart casual, I am not sure how enforced it is as I saw a man in shorts and slippers dining two tables away. The fine dining Indian food cooked here is prepped well and tastes fine. If you are looking for a good food with a refined dining experience, it will not disappoint. As far as looking for Indian cuisine pushed to its highest levels of sublime taste and tantalising the senses, it never reaches those heights so that is why it is just okay for me. Let's just say it is fine dining at its average."

"This is restaurant that in the past my family has visited and thoroughly enjoyed which lead them to taking me and my partner there for my 40th birthday celebrations. From the beginning they claimed to not have our booking even though we had electronic evidence of it being made. We struggled to get the attention of the barman to get a drink as we had to wait for our table. When at table we found the waiter service to be very slow throughout our visit even as the restaurant got quiet with only a few patrons left. Also the food provided was below standard such chips under cooked, salmon undercooked, undercooked lamb, cold peas etc and wrong items provided such as asking for tap water and being provided with mineral water, also a smashed burger was ordered and a normal burger was provided. At the end of the service we ordered another round of drinks and they weren’t provided as ordered as we waited more than 15-20 mins for it so decided to get bill too see they had been added which then added around £20 to bill. Luckily we noticed and got our money back. As it was a 40th birthday celebration my family provided 40 candle for staff to then replace with their own high burning candle which nearly caught light shade at table. This was a poor service for a Saturday night the staff seemed distracted and unorganised throughout and unable to cope with the amount of customers. I do not think I will attend in future as feel this dampened our celebration"

"I went here with a friend to catch me. we were greeted by a friendly waitress who took our food order. we ordered a sirloin steak and the chicken and pancetta cake. the steak (15.99) was served with a tiny tomaten, 2 barely fried tweebel rings, lamb salad and some chips. she asked for tomato sauce and we didn't get any. I think for this price, regardless of whether they have sauce or not, is very much over price for what they get. No one came by to ask how it was eating. the chicken cake was beautiful with the strange pieces of dodgy looking chicken pieces. for dessert we had a banana pee that did not see much on it and had too thick of a basic on it. the sticky toffee pudding but was delicious with vanilla ice cream. the menu that they see on the website and the menu that they get in the restaurant is something different, so don't look too much in advance, especially on the pages, I don't think we'll be back soon as it's just not as beautiful as we originally remember that it is."

"came here for a quick lunch. great service by friendly courtesy staff. really enjoyed the fish and chips and the linguins we ordered. the restaurant is very cozy inside with interesting deco, and there are also tables outside when the weather is good. there are also free parking outside, but finding a place might be difficult to revitalize times. free wlan is available. highly recommended."

"Just had a meal and I must say the food received failed to justify price paid. Very bland. Prawn Cocktail should be renamed Shredded Lettuce Leaf Bowl ! Lamb Kofta Burger very poor indeed. Service couldn't be faulted..but I went for a meal and it was the food that let it down hence the feedback. Won't be rushing back."

"Me and my boyfriend chose this place for our Valentines meal. This restaurant was outstanding, it’s in a gorgeous place and the food was amazing. It’s the best experience I’ve had in a restaurant in a long time! The waiters did seriously seem understaffed and I feel bad for them but when I got told one of them was the owner I was so surprised, she was absolutely lovely bless her, clearly doing everything! It started to get a bit busy towards 8pm and some of the prices don’t match up from the website, but they were a few pounds cheaper in the end. Will definitely be coming here again! I loved it!"

"Visited here February half term! there were 6 of us dining in total (3 adults 3 children), the staff were very friendly and welcoming! We were all very impressed with the food presentation and portion sizes that we received, excellent value for money and we all really enjoyed our food. We had a lovely pleasant experience and would definitely recommend this place."

"I have visited this venue on three occasions and I have tried my best to enjoy the food, service and the atmosphere. On paper it should be a fantastic location however my last visit showed how bad the service really was. We waited 20 minutes to be served what to drink it took 10-15 minutes to bring our drinks over and after taking our order it took nearly 50 minutes to bring our food over. I really don 't like to slam local businesses down but taking nearly an hour to serve food to 4 people is really bad, the service was not greeted to how was you meal nor did they asked if we wanted more drinks during our meal, simple things to please customer service and I really do think this was a one off as there wasn 't an experience staff member in sight. I just hope that on my next visit it will be a 5 star. As I said I really want to like this venue as it in a nice village it has great features with the pub and it will take simple steps to improve the quality of service. "Stayed as visiting family and friends in Norfolk. Lovely friendly pub with varied menu. Food excellent all locally sourced we had pork belly mussels and my 5 yr old enjoyed the kids linguine! Good selection of homemade puddings and kids pick n mix toppings on icecream was a winner! Our room was amazing superkingsize comfy bed with a lovely little side bedroom just right for our daughter. Great location for Brancaster beach and Hunstanton. Thoroughly recommend!"

"An old fashioned Italian restaurant that has obviously been successful for many years with a loyal local clientele. The decor was ok if somewhat tired but, as said, has to be successful so why change?The owner is a great guy, larger than life and very accommodating and funny. His second is a little less outward going and does not seem to enjoy his job much but could be it was just a bad day for him which after the last number of months is entirely understandable.I had mussels, which were excellent, and herself a caprese salad the quality of the tomato and mozzarella was not the greatest plus it was swimming in too much balsamic dressing (which, he pointed out to us, is how he likes it personally).For mains, herself had a really excellent seared lamb and lamb risotto from the specials and she loved it. I tried a little and have to agree it was excellent. I had Zuppa de pesci which was pleasant enough but the star of the show, large prawns, were somewhat over cooked and slightly powdery to my taste.Having had excellent dinners in two local restaurants, overall it was a disappointing last night’s stay in Seaford softened by some good cooking and watching the host at work.The wine list, incidentally, is good and would recommend the dry house Rose and the Primitivo which was excellent!"

"I was in last Saturday for bottomless brunch for my mam's 50th birthday, I paid for myself and her and we were with a table of 10 all together. I'm very disappointed and honestly feel like I've been robbed blind. I waited 45 mins for my first drink despite ordering it 3 times. I ended up only having two cocktails and a glass of prosecco and my mam only had 3 glasses of prosecco. I can't understand how you can have a room that full and only have one person working the bar making drinks. It certainly wasn't worth £80 and in comparison to other bottomless brunches, this one was the worst I've been to for organisation and attentiveness, it seemed poorly organised and definitely wasn't worth the £80 that I paid. I contacted La Torre on Facebook and they responded by asking where I was sat and since then I have been ignored. People on our table were holding their glasses in the air for drinks and we were being completely blanked and walked past to serve other tables. They say that you can order another drink when your current one is half empty, I'd say good luck with that. I'd save your money and go elsewhere for bottomless brunch."

"The only positive thing I can mention is that the staff was friendly. Other than that, it was a complete disaster. The food reminded me of something you would get in a 1970s school cafeteria - the scampi was extremely tough, the peas were overcooked and had a strange yellow-green color, and everything was served with white bread and butter that had visible dirt marks on it. The restaurant had two arcade grabbing hook games in the lobby, and the restrooms were located very far away. The experience was so disappointing that my wife and I couldn't help but laugh."

"Waited around 40 minutes for 3 meals then only 2 were brought out. 10 minutes later my meal arrived but when I started eating the fishcake was COLD in the middle so i sent it back. Chef came out and disagreed with me he said it wasn't cold! I was offered a replacement but I declined as I didn't want to eat when my friends had finished, I was offered drinks but I was driving, when we paid I said to the waitress that I didn't like the chefs attitude that I felt he was accusing me of lying...I did want my lunch actually. Chef came storming out and told me to stop being rude to the waitress, I wasn't. He apoligised but i felt he said it begrudgingly. Unfortunately (I'm partially disabled, I have to push on something to stand up) I pushed on the table and it tipped a glass tumbler onto the floor, it bounced once then smashed into 1000 pieces. Chef came running out with a face like thunder. I said it was an accident, which it was, I said sorry several times, the staff said nothing. Karma. Will not recommend this place to anyone or ever go there again."

"amazing personal, local pub it seems, although the coworkers and locals all know themselves, dog friendly is always a plus, let me on the fondoood I had no starter, but I had a rump steak it was a medium seldom chef and it was as good as I hoped the chips were good they are more like roast potoatos. they are not traditional chips, but they were still beautiful all in all no complaining and if I did not complain, then it would be good 10/10 for prices and service the personal friendly and were overrun and reworked and despite this still managed to serve us perfectly"
