"The food arrived promptly and was delicious. The wrap was packed with flavorful chicken, fresh vegetables, and a tasty sauce. The wings were perfectly crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. "Booked to eat here tonight. Was shown to our table which was in the path of a howling gale each time the door was opened. Asked to be moved which they did. We’d been given a menu on arrival very much reduced from the menus on the website. We eventually were asked for our drinks order only one real ale on draught and when the waitress brought the drinks she asked for our food order. Only then were we told that the very reduced menu was further drastically reduced. At that point we told the waitress that we should have been told when we were given the menus and we decided to leave. Thanks for spoiling our evening. We won’t be back. Shocking. Take your full menu off your website and at least tell customers on booking that there are only pizzas and burgers and one or two other things left to choose from. You’re supposed to be a restaurant, not a soup kitchen!"

"I chose to dine at this restaurant as a regular customer. I made a reservation for a table for two at 1:30pm for my birthday. We were seated at 1:15pm and given the menu right away. Unfortunately, when we tried to order, about 6 items of food we wanted were not available. As a result, we ended up choosing pizzas. It seemed like there was either insufficient stock or high demand for certain items on that day. It would have been helpful to have a backup plan in place for situations like this. I wonder how other customers who came in later or in the evening were affected by this issue. Overall, I was not satisfied with the availability of the food options on this occasion, although everything else about the experience was up to the usual standard."

"Very disappointed. Such a great location and destination. Frankly I don't think they care about customers. Booked table for 2 oclock. Arrived early and was told 1 hour wait for food. How difficult is a Sunday roast? They were not even half full (including garden). Not enough staff clearly. I waited 20 minutes at bar to be served a drink. Food was disappointing on arrival. Tough roast beef. Its not enough to hope the location overshadows poor service and quality. I won't be back."

"Went there because my son is a vegetarian and my grandson has allergies. Have been before but this is the worst meal yet. children's menu did not come with a drink (small soda with dash cost £1.25), the vegetarian burger did not come with all accompliments and was dry and tasteless (had extra slice of cheese which looked all dried up at edges), caeser salad lucky had the sauce separate disgusting, and the salad (lettuce) did not look fresh. Asked about allergy waitress brought booklet which was not that easy, asked her to check with chef ref bun on burger and chips apparently chef only been there couple of days and wasnt sure if there was cross contamination of chips (dairy allergy) or bun??? 3 children 2 adults £77 waste of money. complained to Vintage inns as soon as I arrived home no replies, so obviously they are not interested"

"Came here to celebrate my birthday, originally booked a table of 7 for outside but was too hot so asked if we could change to eating inside, not a problem sorted us a table quickly. Sam was our waiter and was great!! Very attentive and friendly. Food was absolutely amazing! We had roast, signature burger and hunters schnitzel . Going back to have each one for myself. Thank you Em and her kitchen team for my birthday pudding of banoffee pie and to Chris manager) for the delightful delivery of “happy birthday “. Will definitely be coming back and would recommend. Great friendly service and delicious food. Thank you!"

"we visited this pub on Thursday evening, the 10th august, for a meal with family and friends who were all in wellesbourne for the high time of a friend. our booking was for 7.15 clock after a very long wait our starters finally arrived at 8.35 and our main course at 8.55 clock. our group consisted of 5 adult and 3 young children, so when the food arrived, it was time that the children were in bed, and the rest of the group wanted to come back to our hotel to the other high-time guests. the debt was not the personal that worked in the pub. .The two young waitresses ran back and forth and took the customer's food and were both very polite and very apologetic about the delay. the management should have found an incentive to get more employees in this night to serve all customers. we had booked in advance, we were not only on the road, like our friends who had a 6.30 booking and had suffered a similar delay. we got discounted from our bill when we complained, and eating was very nice, but that was inacceptable, and the pressure on the waiters would have both earned them a wage rise. I'm sorry, but until the personal is sorted out, I won't recommend the kings head to everyone."

"We have driven past this restaurant many times and always intended to stop in for a meal and drinks on the patio. Today was especially nice and sunny, so we finally decided to give it a try, and we are so happy we did. A good pub is not only about the food, but also about the staff. "The pub was nice and clean and the serving girl was very friendly. Unfortunately the fish that I ordered was balanced precariously on the mushy peas pot and when I tried to move it, it toppled to the floor. The serving staff were great though and very quickly replaced the whole dish for me. The batter was very crispy and the fish was cooked really nicely, it would be easier if things weren't balanced on top of each other on the plate, but I suppose that means there's lots of food so it can't be too bad a thing! Overall I had a nice time and had nice food in a nice place. I will go again"

"I was very disappointed with my experience at the restaurant on Mother's Day. I called the day before to make a reservation, but never received a confirmation or any communication from the restaurant. Despite them claiming that the manager had tried to call and leave messages, I never received anything on my end. I had booked through Opentable, where our reservation was confirmed, but when we arrived with my whole family, there was no booking in the system. This ruined our special Mother's Day celebration, as we hadn't seen each other since January. I was very disappointed and frustrated with the lack of communication and organization. I will not be returning to this restaurant in the future."

"I visited The Trent Lock for the first time for Sunday lunch and I was very impressed. The food was delicious and the portions were generous for the price. The service was a bit slow, but that was understandable considering the time of day and possible staffing shortages. I plan to come back in the spring to check out the outdoor area and try the weekday menu."

"I had difficulty with the menu at this restaurant because I am following a low-carb diet and most dishes came with chips or potatoes. When I asked if I could substitute haloumi fries for chips, I was told that I would have to pay extra for them. The chips on the menu were priced at £2.95, while the haloumi was £3.95. Instead of being charged the difference, I was charged for both. The waitress initially said I could have the haloumi, then returned to say I couldn't, but asked if I wanted a salad instead. In the end, I just asked her to bring me whatever. I have never been to a restaurant that was unable to accommodate such a simple request. I ended up with steak, vine tomatoes that I had to remove the stalks from, and haloumi fries that were quite dry in my opinion."

"The staff were lovely and could not do more however, there were only 2 staff on and they were very harassed although they their best not to show it. The starter was excellent but The prime burger was very dry with a very sad piece of lettuce and tomatoe on it.. the chips were lukewarm. The dessert was average and we were only offered other drinks quite a while after we had eaten. We decided not to stay for tea and coffee. We used to eat here very regularly and always at Christmas but I don’t think we will be back for quite some time."

"The restaurant was quite busy for a Monday, but I waited over 90 minutes for a cheeseboard. When I chased after about 50 minutes, I was told by the supervisor that they were working on it. The supervisor later came and asked if it was the burger I had ordered, even though I had confirmed it was the cheeseboard. After waiting for 90 minutes, I went to the bar and canceled my order. However, a staff member informed me that they couldn't refund me and I would have to see reception. This was a disappointing customer service experience. The only positives were the lady behind the bar who tried her best to help in a courteous manner, and the guy on reception who handled the situation professionally. Overall, it was a bad experience for a simple cheeseboard order."

"We decided to dine at The Bosham Inn when meeting our daughter and her boyfriend for Sunday dinner, and we were pleasantly surprised. We were warmly greeted at the entrance and promptly shown to our table. Our waitress, Lucy, was lovely and efficient. The food was delicious and the portions were generous, perfect for a cold winter day. Our daughter and her boyfriend enjoyed the Blument pots dessert, which they said was very tasty. My husband was pleased to find charging points in the parking lot. Overall, we had a great experience and would highly recommend The Bosham Inn."

"one of the choices on the main menu was slowly cooked pork with cracks. there was no possibility that the pig was cooked slowly as it was as hard as an old boots. the cracking was soft, but was replaced by crasper cracking. the other three meal times were satisfactory and the desserts were good. the service was pretty slow and our impression was that they are understated. year Inn menus (main courses) have much less choice in these days. one of our party has an allergy to fish, the further restricted choice. So, if we all get together, we are unlikely to return in the near future."

"I was there for a late father's day meal with my husband, his parents and my father. Our parents are in their late eighties and earlier nineties. We were served by Alex and Courtney who were friendly and helpful. Alex was particularly patient with our parents. He explained some aspects of the menu and let them take their time to order. He was very kind to them. Thank you for a pleasant evening. We all enjoyed our meals too."
