"We booked Planet Hollywood 4 weeks in advance and were really looking forward to it as we had been before and we loved the atmosphereWhen we got there we were shown to one of two tables situated under the stairs so the only view we had was people walking up and down the stairs. There was just no atmosphere it was as though we were in the restaurant on our own. We asked to move but were told we would have to go in the queue to wait for a table so we stayed at that table.The food was average and overpriced for what we gotI don't think we'll be going again."

"this was our second visit and the standard of the food has decreased considerably. we had the same as before, the smokeys platter. the ribs were hard and overlooked. the brisket dry and chicken leg bland. the black rate was the best on the plate. the plate was also smaller than before. the service was not present, we had to ask for cutlery for our eating. we were not asked how our food was or we wanted more drinks etc....the atmosphere was very quiet. we could hardly hear behindground music. Unfortunately we won't come back, we were a group of six couples."

"I visited Racks for my works Christmas party. We were sat at larger tables at the end of the restraint and had food bar service. The food was nice, although it was a set menu of choices because it was a larger party. The staff were helpful and good fun at the bar. I’m unsure on the cost and value for money as it was a work event. The atmosphere was cosy and very private. I definitely plan to visit again in a non-work’s party capacity."

"This location is split into two areas - a bar and a restaurant. The bar can get a bit loud, especially on a Friday night, so we decided to dine in the restaurant. We found it to be a charming spot with friendly staff, tasty meals, and affordable prices. If we find ourselves back in Scotland, my fiancé and I will definitely return here. "Today, my aunt and I visited this restaurant. It was our first time seeing each other since lockdown, so we thought it would be nice to go out for lunch. Unfortunately, we were very disappointed with our experience. We arrived at 11:55am and there were only two other tables of two already seated. We gave our names for track and trace, got shown to our table, and then waited for someone to come take our order for about 15-20 minutes. For starters, my aunt had pate and I had garlic mushrooms, which took 35-40 minutes to arrive. We then waited for our mains – scampi for my aunt and chicken curry for myself. After nearly 50 minutes of waiting, I asked how much longer it would be, only to be told another 15-20 minutes. In the meantime, a table of four were seated and immediately served with pizzas and burgers. When I inquired why they were served so quickly, I was told it was because they skipped starters. The couple next to us were still waiting for their food. Frustrated, my aunt and I decided to cancel our mains. To our surprise, they still charged us for the starters and drinks. Needless to say, we will not be returning to this restaurant."

"My wife and I love Harry’s for the cocktails, but more recently have dined here too. We’ve now visited or times (possibly more) and have thoroughly enjoyed every visit. We love Whitby for various reasons but always have an evening in Harry’s as part of each trip. Food on the two occasions we have dined was delicious, and cocktails are always fantastic. But the service, we find, is faultless. The effort and care put into making the drinks, plus the jolly table service, is second to none in our opinion. If we really tried to be critical, our last visit we found a bit noisy in the bar during the late evening while chatting with friends (it’s a bar though and you need to be careful how many of the lovely cocktails you have as the bill quickly racks up! But the quality we find worth it."

"The restaurant was quite busy for a Monday, but I waited over 90 minutes for a cheeseboard. When I chased after about 50 minutes, I was told by the supervisor that they were working on it. The supervisor later came and asked if it was the burger I had ordered, even though I had confirmed it was the cheeseboard. After waiting for 90 minutes, I went to the bar and canceled my order. However, a staff member informed me that they couldn't refund me and I would have to see reception. This was a disappointing customer service experience. The only positives were the lady behind the bar who tried her best to help in a courteous manner, and the guy on reception who handled the situation professionally. Overall, it was a bad experience for a simple cheeseboard order."

"I booked a couple of rooms for two nights and, to be honest, I didn't expect much for the price. However, I was pleasantly surprised by the facilities at the Belmill. The rooms were spotless - my wife even did a thorough inspection and gave it 10/10 for cleanliness. The shower room was very modern with double shower heads and complimentary toiletries. The tea/coffee tray was well stocked with delicious biscuits. The towels were large, fluffy, and white. The bed had crisp white linens and was comfortable. The food at the restaurant was excellent. Breakfast started a bit late, but it was worth the wait. The next morning, a lovely basket of fresh towels, toiletries, and biscuits was left outside our door with a welcoming note from Tricia, letting us know to ask for more towels if needed. I've been to many hotels, but the warm welcome we received at the Belmill made me eager to return."

"We've been to Bibis often over the years. Our most recent visit was really disappointing. We arrived a little early, probably 8 mins or so and we're told they weren't ready for us (the restaurant was half full) and directed to wait outside in the cold. The table we sat at had a view right into the kitchen. The chefs spoke loudly the whole time we were there including a discussion about a bleeding wound that required stitches! Not what you want to hear while eating your meal. Our drinks were warm and the margaritas are not what they used to be. The waitress leaned over our table to light candles on a shelf above us while we were eating our main course. It was very awkward. The waitress and chef had a disagreement about who was passing by the tables in the very small space. Again very awkward right beside our table. The food was bland and far from the flavoursome Mexican tastes we'd experienced at Bibis in the past. No guacamole, tortilla chips or salsa with any courses. Every single plate that arrived had a handful of rocket on the plate as the side. The chicken in the chicken quesadillas was hard to find. The fish tacos had no flavour and the smallest piece of fish in each. It was so disappointing. Unfortunately, we won't be back."

"Our prepaid voucher was valid for 1 year, but we were surprised to be asked for an additional £2 to cover a price increase. The sandwiches were uninspired and cold, as if they had been taken straight from the fridge. The cakes were tasty, but also served cold. The scones, however, were delicious. The staff were very friendly and pleasant. With some more thought put into the afternoon tea menu, it could easily be transformed into the delightful treat it should be. The atmosphere was a bit somber, and adding more light could make the restaurant feel cheerier during the day. These improvements are simple fixes that could greatly enhance the overall experience."

"6 of us celebrated my friends birthday last night and the service was disgusting! It was a catalogue of being ignored, wrong drinks, being stirred at by at least 5 staff (just standing around! I asked for a jug of Sangria, got a glass. My husband asked for a pint of Budweiser, he got a bottle. I asked for a red wine with my steak, I had eaten half my dinner and when it arrived it was white wine. The icing on top of the cake was the birthday girl ordered a Tequila sunrise and she had dead ants in it, we sent it back and complained, they did gave an alternative drink. I asked to speak to the manager, but he wouldn't come over to speak to us. When the bill finally came, we were charged for the drink with ants!!!! Once again I asked to speak to the manager, who was hiding behind the bar and he refused to speak to us, so finally they deducted the one cocktail. Will never be going back there again."

"The pub is located in a lovely setting, with the restaurant separate from the main bar. The garden is very pleasant. The food was excellent; I had the lobster linguine and enjoyed every last bite. "only for a half of the apple wines today, although they had only one choice (strongbow fast apple). pleasant merciful, beautiful interieur, clean toilets. I stopped here because they had seats in the open, that's a decent area to sit outside and take the road. it was a nice day to chill with a more casual, but I didn't want to eat outside.
