"We have been coming to the Plough for a few years, but were disappointed with this visit. The service was very slow although it wasn't very busy. The food was good, but I would say expensive. The children's meal was disappointing, chicken burger and chips for £6.50 (a bit of chicken stuck in a massive bun, no salad or veg). We will try again in the future, hopefully this was just an off day."

Expensive for a sunday roast dinner £18 in a pub. Beef was very fatty and very rare. Not everyone likes rare beef. Perhaps they should ask their customers.

the food was disappointing. almost no gluten-free options. the vegetarian tarte that my friend had was a sweat. tiny portion...dry flunky baked quadrat with clearly ordinary vegetables scattered over her.

Great Food and Service, there were some nice specials, duck and Pork Belly and the standard menu was good too. This is a really great pub/restaurant and also servers one of the best Sunday Lunches in the area

The room where we had our meal had poor acoustics and a very loud lady at the next table dominated the volume in the space. Our drinks orders were forgotten so we had to remind the staff twice to bring our drinks. Overall, though, it's a good place.

A very pleasant evening with attentive service and good food. Our only negative was that, even though full service hadn’t started,we sat right by the kitchen service counter. The lights were very bright, but this is a small negative for an otherwise pleasant evening.

Went on a quiet weekday evening, service very hit and miss (more hit than miss). Wasn 't offered a drink for 10 minutes after sitting down, then had to ask for the wine list. Drinks didn 't arrive for 10 more mins, was parched by this point. Risotto was excellent, choice of mains very 'pubby ' burger, chicken burger, steak or 'superfood salad '. Something in between would 've been good.
