"This is a wonderful new addition to Battersea Park. Having been a couple of times before I booked to meet 6 friends with dogs following a walk and my friends, and the dogs, loved it a relief! Other tables were filled with young mums , babies, pushchairs etc and the atmosphere is one of a happy friendly home with the welcome addition of delicious food wonderful healthy ingredients beautifully prepared. It is already a great success and the only problem is going to be getting in as it is already full and bustling though in warmer weather there are plenty of outdoor tables too. Best thing ? Probably the cheerful friendly staff. They have struggled to get the system running smoothly but were much better this visit , but have always been so friendly welcoming. Love it !"

"We ordered the steak sandwich and the avocado eggs benedict on sourdough toast with smoked salmon both were really delicious and fresh! Drinks were just average (we ordered a batch brew and a cold Milo milk drink); although, my husband tried the flat white at the Oxford Road branch the day before and said it was one of the best flat whites he has had. Knocked off one star as was difficult to access with a pram up the two steps and there was no baby changing facilities. Staff were really lovely and efficient!"

"Sadly, Riverside ,.,,,,, new nothing of our booking through your goodselves, were very rude and made us feel very unwanted, the riverside was Half empty and and could have accommodated us without a fuss, we arrived half an hour before our lunch appointment. They said they did not take bookings through open table, although did find our booking eventually,, by which time they were prepared to honour it ,,,,, but the graduation lunch had been spoilt,,,, After agreeing to let us have lunch, the staff and service could not be faulted, neither the meal, Shame about the welcome which was not acceptable at all. Totally disorganised."

"Went for Sunday lunch with my husband and 3 course meal was outstanding. The star of the show was the main course, plenty on your plate , the veg , mash Yorkshire’s were outstanding. I had beef which was cooked beautifully and my husband had chicken. The lemon tart was beautiful, very lemony and you could tell it was home made and not pre shop bought. I believe the main chef was on Annual leave and the sous chef was in charge today. What a fabulous meal, really thoroughly enjoyed it. The bar was great too , we got 2 **** Mary’s and it was the best one I’ve ever tasted. The Tabasco was perfect. Great decor and lovely staff in all areas."

"eating was very tasty, a nice pizza with a blue mais gluten-free floor. made with good quality and generous ingredients. the atmosphere on Sunday evening was relaxed and allowed us to eat peacefully. we also got a small free taste of some croquettes with a beautiful pepper/canned sauce! for dessert (nutella tiramisu) not 5 stars, because the presentation was not too pleased, but it tasted good. our waitress kelly was very knowledgeable and friendly and with a positive happy introduction. there was another waiter and he was also very helpful, attentive and friendly. both reflected the Italian ability to be welcoming and good host. Overall I am happy to come back, definitely the best pizza in the city center /harbourside."

"A fantastic experience from start to finish. The restaurant is in a great location overlooking Clapham Common and just moment from the tube. It’s a cosy and welcoming space with an open kitchen and slightly rustic feel. The service is friendly and relaxed but also very attentive without being overbearing. They helped us understand the menu and make our choices, there’s a great drinks list too...we chose from the main menu and the food was just wonderful. Three savoury courses (they are slightly smaller plates) exploding with flavours and textures. We wanted to lick all of our plates clean! There were lots of small touches too, little freebies here and there, some terrific sour-dough bread at the start, a really nice low-alcohol beer available too. We will absolutely be back. This is great for a posh supper, a date night or anniversary or just a get together with friends over food prepared with love and care. And it didn’t break the bank!"

"We had never been to Black Mocha before and were completely blown away by how good the food was, the menu, the value for money but also the customer service was just outstanding! The staff went out of their way to make it a really good visit. The vegan avo chocolate and orange tart was out of this world. "FLIP served up one of the best vegan roasts I have ever eaten in my life. There were 2 of us and we ordered one portion of the nut roast and one portion of the vegan Wellington dish options and shared them between us. Both were equally tasty and served up with wonderfully roasted potatoes, cauliflower cheese, red cabbage, and Kale, along with a generous jug of gravy. Very decently priced at £11.95/12.95 as the portion sizes were great. We shared a vegan cheese board afterwards on which 5 different cheeses were presented alongside flatbreads, a large portion of chutney and some grapes. The service was brilliant really friendly and helpful people work at Flip. The deli is really well presented and a relaxed and calm environment to dine in. We're definitely coming back! Thank you everyone at Flip Food for a wonderful place to eat vegan."

"Had the absolute best experience at Crown Anchor for a Christmas Roast with friends. We were a large group of 20, so I was super impressed with how quickly the food came out and we all got our food at pretty much the same time. I had the veggie mushroom, spinach and tofu Wellington with cauliflower cheese on the side which was so delicious. All the roasts came with plentiful trimmings roast potatoes, parsnips and carrots, red cabbage, sprouts and a Yorkshire pud. Oh and plentiful gravy too! Everyone commented on how filling and delicious their meal was. The staff had also very kindly added some extra special touches such as crackers on the table, to make our experience all the more Christmassy. The pub has such a relaxed and cosy atmosphere and all the staff are so friendly and welcoming. Big shout out to Justine who helped me with the booking and the pre orders of our group on the day. Would highly recommend this pub to anyone looking for a nice and relaxed meal with friends or family, with tasty food and fantastic service."

"I was surprised to see only six types of tea on offer; after having attended almost all afternoon teas in London, I expected at least ten selections. When our afternoon tea was served, we joked about getting free refills, but she clarified that there was an additional charge for extras. I was shocked, as I've never encountered that before. Overall, this experience didn't feel worth the price, and there were no themed cakes as advertised. We received three sandwiches each, a tiny prawn cocktail in a shot glass, two scones each, and a small plate with four plain cakes that had no connection to the toyshop theme. This was the most disappointing afternoon tea we've ever experienced."

"This was our 2nd time eating here. We frequently go for drinks there too. The first meal (dinner)we had was fantastic quality from start to finish. This lunch was disappointing. I had the dish of the day which was a cod pasta dish. It was smoked cod which the waitress hadn’t explained. It was quite a small portion the pasta was totally over cooked flat squashed penne pasta tubes. Not a lot of cod. The flavour of the dish was good though. My husband had the turkey ham roast of the day which was fine. Nothing special."

"What can I say.... I decided to take my partner out for his Birthday. What a special treat it was. Lovely drink in the Library in front of an open fire. Canapés were server there. Then into the dining room which was so lovely. The food was exquisit! We also went for the wine flight which was an additional expense... but added to the great experience. Would live to come again!"

"we contacted mark in advance, as we were a group of women who drove to brighton and wanted to make sure we had sorted our food before our arrival. brand was so brilliant that he communicated everything so quickly that everything was ready to go for us when we came there (we were 40 minutes early and he was completely prepared! He also bought us the sandwiches so that we did not have to leave our bikes. the sandwiches were amazing and huge. we could all put the half of them in our saddle bags and finish them on the way home. thanks!"
