"I had heard many positive reviews about this restaurant, but had never tried it until now. My expectations were high, but I must admit that I was very disappointed. I ordered takeout and the lasagne was cold, chewy on the sides, and seemed like it had been sitting for a while. The filling was not up to par and did not meet the hype. I love lasagne, but this dish did not even compare to some pub meals I have had in the past. The risotto was also cold and nothing special, although it was slightly better when warmed up. The portion of chips was stingy, greasy, and overdone. The salad was fresh but not as described, lacking olives and consisting of only a few lettuce leaves, onions, pepper, and a splash of dressing. Overall, I felt disappointed and as though we were given leftovers from the evening. This was not quality food and I was let down by the experience."

"Always fantastic food, the lamb chops are amazing, I always order these as part of my meal and then try something new every time too. I haven't had alot of experience with Greek food and I have never been to Greece but after eating here a few times, I'm now planning a trip when restrictions are lifted, but, for now Little Greek is as close as anyone is going to get!!!"

"Restaurant looks great, we were seated in a booth so it felt more private. Music playing in restaurant gave a good atmosphere. Staff were very friendly and attentive actually stopped and had a conversation with us. Menu had good choice we had a vegetarian and vegan in our party, everyone enjoyed their food. Stuffed tomatoes were delicious could have eaten another portion! Service was well timed, we wasnt rushed but did not have to wait too long. Will be back!"

"I have been to the Blacksmiths on numerous occasions, it's my go to venue for special events or just casual dining. The food is always spot on and exceptional value, the Newchurch pie is definitely my favourite. Smaller portions are available and lack none of the flair of their larger counterparts. The front of house staff are always, professional and friendly, nothing is too much trouble. No doubt, I shall be returning soon. "I stumbled upon this fantastic place on a cold and windy Monday in January. I treated myself to a delicious full English Captain's breakfast, complete with two eggs, two tasty sausages, bacon, hash browns, beans, mushrooms, and fried bread. I also enjoyed a pot of tea. The prices were reasonable, the service was quick, and the staff were friendly. The cafe had a great atmosphere and offered lovely views of Shaldon beach. The downstairs area was dog-friendly, making it perfect for beach walks."

"This wonderful pub was located right around the corner from out hotel. The first night we tried it it was very busy, after being seated we realized why. The menu has wide range of options from their pies . My favorite became the Nicholson 's Pale Ale Pie. This has a generous amount of steak in a flaky crust Garlic Chicken Schnitzel. We knew we would be going back. The Ocean Fish Chips didn 't disappoint nor did the Beef Brisket Burger. They have a good selection of beer on tap and whiskeys served by the dram. The people are friendly and no matter how busy they are, you don 't feel rushed. Ss you enter the pub, make note of all the Sherlock Holmes trivia in the cases and while you are sitting in the pub."

"a group of 6 of us came yesterday after a climax walk to the breakfast, fortunately we found a table because it was quite limited when they were sitting outside. I had the great vegetarian breakfast, which was especially delicious veggie. also the big latte that was in the did a great cup! was not as strong as I hoped, but given the volume I can forgive. no complicate from the rest of my friends who had a mix of meat and vegan breakfast. it was a bit expensive £9 for the big plate, but eating was nice enough. 2 female employees worked very friendly and courteous they helped my friend ice cube and towel for her knuckles. overall a beautiful vibe caffe."

"After being disappointed by another restaurant that closed without informing us about our reservation, we were warmly greeted by a very friendly waitress at this restaurant. She showed us to our table and took our order. Our fortune turned around when the waitress informed us..."

"We had lunch on Sunday using a Groupon voucher. We were warmly welcomed and served promptly. The portion sizes were generous for two people, enough for us to take some home. The server kindly offered a takeaway box in case we couldn't finish our meals. Overall, it was a fantastic experience. The only downside was that the atmosphere felt a bit lacking, possibly because it was a large restaurant and we were the only ones dining inside."

"The restaurant is all vegetarian with vegan options. It is located on the lower level, while the top level serves more as a deli and grab-and-go business. During my visit for breakfast, I tried the vegan pancakes for $6.95 with blueberries, banana, and maple syrup. The pancakes were thick and American-style, though not overly fluffy. Despite this, I found them delicious, generously topped with bananas and blueberries, and served with a side of maple syrup. The portion was satisfying for the price. I also tried the vegan carrot cake for $4.50, served with a side of vegetable milk. The cake was moist, tender, and fluffy, with just the right amount of sweetness even in the frosting. It was packed with flavor from the carrots, nuts, and other ingredients. The staff was friendly, though could have been more helpful, especially for first-time visitors, in explaining the restaurant's offerings and how it operates. The restaurant has an eclectic and cozy ambiance with a local feel. There is ample seating, including space for large groups. The vegetarian and vegan food, as well as the well-made cakes, are fresh and flavorful, offered at affordable prices. It's clear why this restaurant is popular and successful with multiple locations."

"We made a last minute reservation this evening just an hour before booking for my wife and I. We have been to the restaurant before and the sister restaurant in South Road, Crosby and have always had a great meal. We chose off the Christmas...menus which was great value. We shared a hot meze starter and had some hummus to share. My wife had the kleftiko which was huge and so tender it just fell of the bone. I had fillet steak with pepper sauce. The steak was delicious. Cooked perfectly medium and was so tasty. I found the pepper sauce really rich, creamy and delicious. The chips as always are amazing like proper old school chip pan chips your mum used to make years ago. We both couldn’t finish it all and had to opt to take home our dessert from the Christmas menu home with us. I opted for carrot cake and the mrs chose the vanilla cheese cake which is in the fridge for tomorrow we are that stuffed. Staff are all really friendly and noting too much trouble. Thanks for a lovely night."

"We booked a table via email for last July the meals were fresh homemade with very good portions, absolutely delicious and well presented. The Inn has wonderful friendly staff with great attention to detail and excellent customer service. Our table had been reserved for us and ideally positioned to enable our dogs to lay without being disturbed by passing customers. What a great group of staff, one of which was Neil who was such a lovely chap and was only to happy to help. Staff were very professional, the Inn was beautiful, well presented, clean and the airflow was comfortably COOL for all inside it was 24 degrees outside. Cannot find fault at all hence 5 stars and the promise of a return visit soon!"

"**Dining Experience: Dinner Cost per Person: £20–30** I recently visited a restaurant for dinner, and I was quite impressed with the overall experience. The ambiance was inviting, creating the perfect atmosphere for an enjoyable meal. The menu offered a great variety of dishes to choose from, catering to different tastes. The food was delicious, and I found it to be well worth the price range of £20 to £30 per person. Portion sizes were generous, and the dishes were beautifully presented. The service was attentive, with staff members being friendly and accommodating throughout our visit. Overall, I had a lovely dining experience and would recommend this restaurant to others looking for a satisfying meal in a pleasant setting."

"I went here to lunch with jon w and ash nauradi (his suggestion.) the first thing they notice is how new and clean the place is and walked away from the stereotype of a greasy kidnap. the menu is quite simple, but there is a good variety and I feel personally that this makes it easier to choose from as many options. I ordered a hello wrap and it was decent. the cheese was not burned, was not too watery and there was a good amount so I got a few in each bite. the one mistake was the humble, simple and tasteless, a little spicy would not go. in view of his situation in aldgate and the fact that I did not try any of the sweets on this occasion, I will come back in definitiv!"

"I love proper country pubs and this is one of them. What a wonderful find! The food was excellent and served within a very acceptable timescale. The cost was fabulous. As it is Tuesday and therefore pie night, it was £10 for a pie meal and a pint. Excellent value. The service was brilliant especially Jordan who was so welcoming and interactive to just the right degree. Both him and the lovely lady who served us (truly sorry that I failed to get her name) were so friendly and welcoming, and they both had the perfect amount of humour and attentiveness, and both were so very on the ball, even though it was a busy, summery evening. They both made time to chat and to ensure my Service Dog had both space and fresh water, as well as double checking that we were happy and had everything we required. The food was beautifully presented and tasted wonderful. I had the vegan option of chickpea, aubergine and spinach pie, chips, vegetables and vegan gravy. I can honestly say I enjoyed every mouthful! If I was made to criticise anything, the only thing I could point out was that, being in the restaurant area, the noise from the swing door at the bar was very irritating. Everytime a member of staff went through it, the door banged like someone repeatedly kicking a football against the wall. Maybe some kind of quietner could be fitted? If it wasn't for this, I would have given The Sun, Kislingbury 5 stars. However, we honestly enjoyed the whole experience of the food, the location, the staff and also included a little drive around the old village, and we will most certainly be back again! Well done to everyone at The Sun, Kislingbury. So very happy to have found such a wonderful place!"

"As is usual for this time of year – time for our annual visit to the Agora on Christmas Eve to enjoy the wonderful fayre this restaurant has to offer. Warmly welcomed on a cold blustery evening and arriving somewhat windswept, we were shown through to our table which was very nicely positioned in the window next to a lovely warm radiator! As is the norm, we ordered a bottle of Cankaya to be followed by starters of Prawn cocktail and Lamb Keftedes. Mains of choice on this occasion were the seabass feta and Adana. Starters suitably delivered they were well presented and nice and hot. My keftedes were smothered in rich tomato sauce were very tasty. Sue’s prawn cocktail was also very good, lots of plump prawns with flavoursome Marie Rose sauce. The bread that was supplied separately was used to good effect to mop up the excess sauce with all dishes left spotless before being returned to the kitchen. A short while later the mains were delivered. The seabass was very good, two fillets stuffed with feta accompanied with potatoes and vegetables. My Adana was also lovely, nice flavoursome kebab on a bed of rice and small side salad. As always both dishes were enjoyed very much with plates left devoid of all that went before. Another very nice meal at The Agora, really lovely friendly hosts with whom we enjoyed chatting very much supported by tasty well presented food that provides a real taste of the Mediterranean. "I was expecting great things based on the reviews, but the restaurant was quite outdated. The service was decent and the food was tasty, but a bit overpriced. The atmosphere was lacking and by 9:30 pm, the restaurant was empty. Overall, I wouldn't be in a hurry to return. "Four of us went for a midweek lunch. The table and had been booked and was ready for us. The dining area is warm and spacious, everything clean and appealing. The owners and Staff are extremely attentive and friendly. Nothing is too much trouble. We had all pre ordered the Greek Meze. You can give them your budget, and they provide food accordingly . 4 courses in all for £30pp, and I can assure any reader here, that I didn’t eat anything else that day. All the courses were traditional and authenticity presented. Every dish was individually cooked , the meats were to die for. Sauces and the usual side dips accompanied each course. We were not left wanting. My only comment would be, that I wish we could have had longer break between courses as per the normal Greek way of dining . So if you don’t want all the courses top to tail, just let them know at the outset. Not a complaint, more our fault for not saying in the first place. I certainly think we had value for money, the food and the bar. The place is also dog friendly. I f you enjoy food, Greek or otherwise I would thoroughly recommend this establishment. We will all be returning for another excellent dining experience."
