"The restaurant is all vegetarian with vegan options. It is located on the lower level, while the top level serves more as a deli and grab-and-go business. During my visit for breakfast, I tried the vegan pancakes for $6.95 with blueberries, banana, and maple syrup. The pancakes were thick and American-style, though not overly fluffy. Despite this, I found them delicious, generously topped with bananas and blueberries, and served with a side of maple syrup. The portion was satisfying for the price. I also tried the vegan carrot cake for $4.50, served with a side of vegetable milk. The cake was moist, tender, and fluffy, with just the right amount of sweetness even in the frosting. It was packed with flavor from the carrots, nuts, and other ingredients. The staff was friendly, though could have been more helpful, especially for first-time visitors, in explaining the restaurant's offerings and how it operates. The restaurant has an eclectic and cozy ambiance with a local feel. There is ample seating, including space for large groups. The vegetarian and vegan food, as well as the well-made cakes, are fresh and flavorful, offered at affordable prices. It's clear why this restaurant is popular and successful with multiple locations."

Amazing experience. It is situated on a lively street. With a host of vegan and vegetarian options, it’s usually crowded with people looking for their amazing meals. Do visit and try out their desserts

Had an amazing vegan breakfast this morning! So tasty would definitely come back when we are next time in Edinburgh. Would recommend this place as a much to visit for breakfast at least to vegetarians and vegans. Great alternative to Pret-a-mange

one of our best alternative restaurants in edinburgh. the foods have unique aromas. our tellers were full and our foolies were happy. jazz playing on Friday night. super friendly service, really attentive. she introduced today's suppe and then explained our asking on the menu. Everything sounds and looks good!

beautiful restaurant with fantastic staff and great food. it's a fact that we found a place that was just perfect in all areas. We went spoilt for the choices with the Thai salad bowl, which was absolutely delicious. service was professional and very personal. the drinks were delicious and the live music just set the ton of everything wonderful. highly recommended!

I cannot praise this restaurant enough, but I will try. We indulged in as much as we could because the food was incredibly delicious! I was thoroughly impressed by the taste and presentation. The service was excellent and we were seated promptly. However, I recommend making a reservation as the space is small. Fortunately, we were lucky to be seated quickly and we all thoroughly enjoyed our meal. I will definitely be coming back to this place!

I was so excited going to Hendersons. There are such great reviews and everything seemed like this must be it! Unfortunately, for me it was not. I was quite dissatisfied with the food experience. The place is lovely, it has a cosy feeling to it and in the evenings it is surely getting busy. The atmosphere can be described by a cellar level restaurant, so if you like sunshine, there's not much of it, but then again Edinburgh, is there anywhere? The service is lovely and they do explain the dishes. Now the food. I took the spicy vegan crepe. I was expecting something really artsy! But it was quite boring. There is a dish with potatoes, spinach and a little nutty sauce. One could easily make th...

"new kapitel has caught my attention after I was on top ten on trip advisor only months after the opening in the oktober last year. that and the fact that it is open for my early january birthday, made it the perfect place to celebrate to become a little older. I was with the man and his family. the man is quite used to my taste and good to the kind of kitchen that would appeal to me for a special occasion; his family not so much and I was filled with shame as his mother scornful went through the menu trying to find something she would enjoy. I've eaten with the family of the man, and I know they enjoy eating, so I think it's a failure of the menu that it is not accessible. the benming always blooming and garnish can appeal to some, but for others it is overcomplicated and it is necessary to find a balance between the two. we start with the starters and I go for venison sour wort pithvier. the venison was underheated and incredibly dry, to the happiness the sourded a little moisturizing and so saved the whole dish, but the aromen were quite not clear, except the garnitur of plastered mushrooms I thoroughly enjoyed. for the largest part we chose a fish dish for our main,- sea trout, smoked muddles, petersilien and coast herbs. where the starter fell, the main recording is getting back. the dish is rich and creamy, and each element adds the complexity of the taste as a whole, without disturbing. the concept is now an old one, and it would be deceptive if it had not worked, as it would essentially pay with this place. I enjoyed my meal in new chapter, although I do not agree with it is stellar status under the hierarchy of edinburgh eateries. it is top ten position is just a flash in the pan of hot popularity, and in time it will be plated in the upper half of the middle stage where it belongs. and that is where it belongs, the dishes can be plated with a michelin star in understood, and the venue and the supporting media has the clean lines and empty slate look of fine but eat the team has a long gone to go if that is their real aim. at the end, although it was a beautiful meal, and cheap (at the moment I would not be surprised to see their prices slowly rise) and the man’s mother found something they enjoyed and that is the most important."
