"The food was unique and very delicious. The products used in the dishes we ordered were freshly prepared and in perfect quantity. Richly presented in appearance, warm enough and the dishes looked so yammi. The octopus can melt in your mouth, it didn't taste like plastic like in other restaurants. This is my second time to eat octopus with such an amazing taste. Once in Bulgaria /Nesebar and now in this restaurant, when I ate others octopuses in my experience they were not good enough for my taste. But here is special. All food was perfect texture with rich from ingredients and herbals, really I highly recommend this restaurant. They also had amazing music and lovely clean atmosphere. Soon we will visit again. "This past week, we visited The Worlds End Pub for a drink and dinner, and it was truly exceptional. We were greeted warmly, and the staff (especially Harry) were very courteous and attentive. The menu offered a variety of options, and the food was incredibly delicious. The portions were generous, and the dishes were made to order. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and we will definitely be returning. Thank you to all of the employees for providing such excellent service!"

"I am disappointed with my recent experience at this restaurant. When I made a reservation for a party of 16, I requested to be seated in the conservatory area to avoid feeling cramped. Despite reassurances, we were instead seated at the back of the restaurant. The service was slow, with drinks and starters taking over an hour to arrive. We waited another hour for our mains, and had to constantly remind the staff about our forgotten drinks. The food did not live up to expectations and did not resemble the pictures online. Although the restaurant did take a few items off the bill, we left feeling disappointed and do not plan on returning."

"We were staying in Caernarfon on a Saturday night and took valuable advice from other reviewers and booked early. We were so looking forward to choosing a selection of meze to share, but were disappointed to see only a set meat or vegetarian meze or...special starters and main courses were on offer. We chose one meat and one vegetarian meze. Both first plates were super...a good mixture of Greek fare with warm pitta bread. The second plates were more than disappointing....too much meat, Mediterranean greasy vegetables and potatoes. The Spanakopita was a greasy tasteless pancake and the rest of the vegetarian meze was similarly unexciting. The server did say they were offering a new menu that night. It is probably easier for the kitchen, but we were less than impressed. The house wine did go down well though!"

"delightful food, good portions for the price they pay, and a good selection of options for all nutritional requirements. we will be back again and we are happy with the service, employees once they were polite and keep them with recommendations and a healthy interest in the creation of recommendations and the specializations. the chef is present and strives to ensure that guests enjoy the food. I will warm up on two fronts, first the restaurant is a bit loud and this leads to problems when booking via the phone, so they use the app service to book and if they are hard to hear a table before the restaurant before the bar. the second is that this place is not wheelchair access there is a step at the front doof, not huge but no ramp and the disabled toilet is close to the kitchen door and was out of operation when we last visited, so could best check in ahead."

"I had a wonderful experience at this charming little Greek restaurant. The staff was attentive and we were served quickly. The dishes were expertly prepared, and the flavors in the sauce were simply outstanding. Everything was just right—not too much and not too little. Even the chips were among the best I've ever had! While the portion sizes may seem a bit small, the richness of the food ensured that it was more than enough. We also enjoyed starters with our meals, and I highly recommend trying the traditional dishes. The restaurant has a lovely, clean decor and a warm atmosphere. It was a vibrant and light-filled summer evening, and I can't wait to return!"

"Not the same homemade ingredients. The burger was definitely a frozen patty it was tough as.. for £12.50 for the burger Greek salad was poor for £5.50 no ouzo dressing it's soggy tomatoes with 3 olives..and a tiny bit of feta cheese. "The Bull at Benenden did not disappoint, even with COVID restrictions in place. A table of 6 friends from our book club was set aside for us, with all necessary precautions taken to ensure our safety and comfort. The staff was welcoming and helped to make the experience less daunting. The tables were well spaced out and all staff members were wearing face masks. The food was as delicious as always. Overall, a fantastic dining experience at this village pub."

"The end to a perfect 4 mile walk around the countryside of Sutton Bonnington would you believe, 5 weary lady walkers sitting in the sunshine at 11.45am waiting for the pub to open The landlord gave us a warm welcome after opening the front doors, and how decadent, we were the first there. After ordering a well earned long drink, and lunch we chatted away whilst waiting for lunch to appear What a lovely site, the fish chips and mushy peas looked appetising, so did the prawn cocktails and i had scampi and salad, and it all tasted as good as it looked Thank you for your warm hospitality from you and your efficient staff, we will call again soon"

"5 of ate here on a Friday evening eating on the outside terrace. The food and service was second to none and truly authentic serving Greek beers, wines and spirits. Unfortunately we were only stay for a couple of days so did not get the opportunity to eat there again. We would definitely recommend this restaurant and would happily return if were were back in the area."

"I loved it! very attentive friendly staff. two of us dined and shared a mixed tauchant with warm Pitta bread. Dip option did not come by default with taramasalata that we love so that they included some anyway without additional costs. my partner had a melt in the mouth lamm kleftico for porn that came with a choice of rice, herby kartoffeln or chips. I chose the mousakka (delicious) that came to her. I wanted to order a small Greek salate to go with it, but instead our beautiful waiter said he would anyway contain some on the side. a lot, with a beautiful wedge of Feta cheese. dessert was a piece of flaky baklava for him, and a bright heavenly orange cake for me, with a few mythos, and a few glasses local Greek wine. authentic Greek cuisine and hospitality best. we will be coming back"

"Firstly this is not something that I would normally do, but was just so incredibly disappointed by our experience tonight 27/10/23. Took mum for a birthday meal(85), she loves it here, but the restaurant was absolutely freezing. If we wouldn't have had our outdoor coats in the car, there would have no way we could have stayed with mum. All the customers were complaining how cold it was with the poor waitress having to constantly apologise. One couple had managed to requisition a small heater from somewhere and had it plugged in near their table. The food was lovely, as always, but very quickly became cold before we could finish it. I felt so sorry for my mum, as she kept apologising for asking to go there,. As i say, food was good but evening just ruined by lack of heating."

"Lovely evening at this pub in Greenwich. Booked a table online and the lovely staff called in advance to let us know that 2 Sunday rosst options had sold out. How nice is that? We needn't have worried there were still plenty of dishes available. Hubby had the lamb roast, I had nut roast both served with delicious roast veg and a Yorkshire pud. Our teenage son opted for a burger served with fries which he described as one of the best burgers he's eaten (texture was very good apparently). Location was pleasant, we opted for the outdoor seating area which was perfect on a sunny July evening. Service was excellent. I would happily return to eat and would recommend."

"Have visited this restaurant every year for the last 10 years when on holiday usually two visits per trip because the food is consistently excellent and the service is outstanding. A bit more pricey than most in the area but we feel it is well worth it for the excellent experience. Sadly it was not to be on this occasion, after being seated it took quite some time to tale an order, we had to ask for a drinks order to be taken, it took half an hour for the drinks to arrive, the starters were lovely but come the mains they did not know which of the two steaks were which, one was both were ordered with French fries one came with mashed potatoes the other with fried potato slices. Once those errors were sorted we all ended up eating out of sequence and it experience was so disjointed it was ruined. We had been out to celebrate an anniversary so disappointing the food when we eventually got what we ordered remains excellent but there were only two front of house staff for twenty plus tables. Won’t be back this trip and will not return until I get a recommendation that the service is a lot better"

"Very good Greek food in a cozy small restaurant (about 12 tables , located in a strip mall on Applegate Rd. After Taverna Ouzo closed its doors (coincidentally, it was located on the same Applegate Rd. quite a few years ago, there weren 't any authentic Greek restaurants in the area, so we are happy with our new finding. Faros (apparently, owned, managed, and served by people of Greek descent serves fully authentic and deliciously prepared Greek cuisine. The menu is extensive, there is a variety of choices for every taste and like. The food is fresh, the grilled dishes are thoroughly prepared to perfection. The hot appetizers platter Zesta pikilia tis pareas (assortment of tiropitakia, keftedakia, dolmadakia, spanakopitakia, and gigantes is ideal for two people and is offered for a budget friendly price of $20.5. The main courses, both traditional Greek specialties, souvlaki, and gyro platters are on the bigger side, definitely guaranteeing a need for box it up, please . The overall pricing is in today 's day and age certainly decent. Undoubtedly, highly recommended."

"We decided to go out for dinner with our 2 year old for the first time last night and were quite nervous about how it would go. We were greeted by very friendly staff and the waiter was even so kind as to offer to take our son for a few minutes so we could eat. The food was incredible and the warm and friendly atmosphere turned a daunting outing into an enjoyable meal out! Our son made friends with all the staff and they kindly gave him an ice cream at the end! Would definitely recommend for a good night out with amazing food, we will surely go back soon!"

"Our last visit to Helensburgh was in 2016, and we remembered The Ginger Breadman and thought we'd re visit again for breakfast. Imagine our disappointment to find the East Clyde Street place shut (open weekends only apparently). But further investigation led us to Sinclair Street new premises only opened this week! COVID 19 rules are in full swing, but we were shown to a table that was thankfully free... it's very popular. The chap at the next table had what appeared to be a very enticing sausage breakfast. But we opted for a roll with black pudding for his lordship, and a roll with bacon and egg for me. Wow! The brioche rolls tip top fresh, and super tasty ingredients. The kitchen is compact, so you can see the chefs putting together your food, but also baking and decorating sponges and the lovely fresh produce used. Our server, a very personable young lady, was working her socks off. Thank you. One minor quibble? The cup size for cappuccino is a bit small!"

"We spent the best part of the day at westward Ho! We went for dinner here on the 21st September 2023 had the best food. I had a chicken wild mushroom pie, mash, cabbage gravy my partner had the chicken burger with chips salad. We both finished everything on the plate as the portion sizes were just right. This set us up for the afternoon of crabbing swimming. Lovely staff too Price per person: £10–20"

"beautiful staff, eating was delicious and very cheap, really impressive service of more or less a waitress, all the front of the house for the whole restaurant. it is a small place, but impressive and admirable all the same and it is clear that the staff works very hard. (was not the name of our waitress, but it was fantastic; the service was fast and she was friendly, polite and very attentive. please go and try them socrates taverna, but only if they plan to tap! they earn every penny."
