"We recently had 2 take out delivery meals from Sokrates having dined in there a few years back. OMG the food was just as wonderful as I remember and authentically greek in taste. The highlights for us were the Chicken Souvlaki and the Stifado, but we have had both the meze and chosen our own and all were delicious. I highly recommend you try it. Fantastic date night at Sokrates. The staff member on the night was super friendly and welcoming and catered to everything really well. The food was fantastic all round and we unfortunately had no space left to try dessert this time, so we will be back.

This charming little tavern is a gem. The food is authentic and delicious, with generous portions. The staff is friendly and personable, and the prices are very reasonable. We highly recommend this place and will definitely return when we visit Sale again.

We enjoyed a delicious meal at this restaurant with a selection of mezze dishes including pitta bread, fried options, calamari, halloumi, and a variety of meats. Everything was perfectly cooked and served with a smile. We couldn't have asked for a better dining experience.

This small restaurant offers authentic, freshly made food and a good atmosphere. The service is excellent, you are made to feel welcome and they are very accommodating. Overall, the food is rated a 4, the service is a 5, and the atmosphere is a 4. Highly recommend dining here.

The restaurant was a bit quiet, but the food was delicious and the staff were excellent. My only minor complaint would be that the restroom could use some updating. I would rate the service and food a 5 out of 5, and the atmosphere a 4 out of 5. I would recommend trying the Souvlaki Dinner. The price per person for dinner was between £20-30.

This small taverna is fantastic. The food was incredible. As someone who is gluten free, I was impressed with how knowledgeable and accommodating both servers were. We ordered the mixed meze and not only was the food delicious, but there was a generous amount of it. I might have to go up a jean size after this meal! I will definitely come back to this place.
