"We went here for an anniversary because my partner recommended it, she's been here before. We got the Asiana banquet for two. I was a little bit hesitant because a) I'm not a big fan of Chinese food and b) I thought we might have been paying too much. Boy was I wrong. The food was plentiful, I'm a big guy and I was in a food coma by the end of it but satisfyingly so. Right from the start the food was rich, delicious and the variety was surprising. Duck, beef, chicken, prawns... All cooked to perfection. Highly recommend the deep fried crispy chicken with salt and pepper chips. MVP was the curry sauce, absolutely superb. Service was excellent. Fast and the server was actually hilarious. Didn't overstay his welcome or make it awkward and kept the food coming pretty efficiently. 5/5 for service. Really nice folk. My only gripe and this is a small one is that the atmosphere could do with some better lighting. Maybe some table candles or lights. That's just me though. Overall a fantastic experience and we'll be back for sure."

"I was impressed by the TSB branch located in Newcastle city centre on Ridley Place. Compared to other TSB branches I have visited in Middleton and Manchester City Centre, this branch is much larger and more technologically advanced. The indoor cash machines and paying in machines were a pleasant surprise, as was the free wi-fi. The branch follows the traditional TSB colour scheme and has a manned desk for those who prefer speaking to someone in person. However, I found the staff to be less helpful and friendly compared to other banks like Natwest and Halifax. Overall, I would rate this branch as average compared to other banks, but as the best TSB branch I have visited, it deserves three stars."

"The staff are very welcoming and friendly. I was told the restaurant has recently changed management so you can expect a lot more vegan and vegetarian dishes on the horizon. The food I did have was not on the printed menu but it was however recommended to me by the very helpful staff. From what I can gather there is a full range of mock meats including duck, roast pork, chicken and beef. I opted for the mock chicken and was certainly not disappointed with my choice. The food was full of flavour, well presented and great value for money. I am just visiting Stirling for one night however if I do return I will make a b-line for The Regent it was well worth the visit"

"We have visited Peaches twice and it has been amazing both times. The staff is very knowledgeable and accommodating when it comes to vegan dietary preferences. On the all-you-can-eat days, they will prepare a vegan platter with a variety of dishes. Almost anything on their menu can be made vegan, just let them know your preferences. During our first visit with a large group, they were also able to accommodate for allergies along with our vegan needs. We highly recommend Peaches, but as a socially awkward vegan, it would be helpful if they had a dedicated vegan menu available both in the restaurant and for online ordering."

"I arrived on Sunday afternoon for lunch and was the only customer in the restaurant. I ordered from the express lunch menu and choose the deep roasted on toast and noodle soup with bark meat. the wound grilled on toast was not too oily and...was good, the soup was also delicious. the service was attentive. this restaurant is a good option for Chinese/Malaysian cuisine in worcester."

"Sunday evening 7pm...trying to find somewhere to eat on a dreary evening in Greenock which had some spice and didn't come with chips.All I wanted was Spicy Chicken Noodle' which bizarrely wasn't a menu item...they did me a Singapore Noodle without the Prawn.Delicious. "The Trafford Centre in Greater Manchester is the second largest shopping and leisure mall in the United Kingdom. The mall is built in Rococco/late Baroque style in design, with eclectic elements of Art Deco and Egyptian Revival. There are three domed atria along the length of the mall, and middle dome is supposed to be bigger than that at St Paul's Cathedral! Decorated in white, crystal and gold this mall has the largest food court in the all of Europe. The Orient is designed like the deck of a 1930s liner and seat 1,600 people and has over 30 restaurants, grills and bars. Yang Sing Cathay in the China Town section was our destination for lunch. The restaurant has indoor seating as well as a outside seating. We decided to sit outside and ordered a few dumplings, starters and soups. This is what we ordered – Minced Chicken and Sweet Corn Soup, Peking Hot and Sour Soup, Steamed Beef Dumpling in Ginger and Spring Onion, Steamed Pork and Prawn Sui Mai, Paper Wrapped Prawns with Water Chestnut and Coriander, Chicken and Sesame Cake and Beef Curry Samosa. The soups were a wee bit thick with corn flour for me. The Beef Curry Samosas were good. The dumplings were okay. They only serve three or four dumplings per portion. We were too full to try rest of the menu. Another time."

"Good food. Good service. I used to go weekly but only go for special occasions now as it's got too expensive. I love their curry but have to ask for no peppers, no carrots. "We have never eaten here before and have been looking for a good Chinese since we moved to the area years ago. We had heard good things about Mulan but haven't been able to visit during Covid and so this was our first opportunity. If I had written this review after the starters it would have been or star not great. Seemed very processed. Prawn toasts very disappointing. If I had written after the Peking Duck I would have rated or stars. Good but not great. Having now also eaten the mains, the score is more star which is what this review is. Like a curate's egg, good in parts! Certainly not fine dining. And the decor is very plain which doesn't give the place any atmosphere. Would we go back. Probably not. But if we did we would give the starters a miss..."

"This is a very busy restaurant, but there is lots of seating and a lot of car parking. Even so, car parking is tight. I would recommend getting there close to opening time 5 pm to get parked easily. After that, there will be a short wait. Service from entry is polite and efficient. Plenty of staff to show you to your seat. Plate clearing from the table was effectively and politely done. Food is really good with a wide range of dishes to chose from. Cutlery plates etc are plenty full and although busy. Very easy to select your food. All in all this is an excellent restaurant and well priced for, as it says in the receipt, bottomless eating. Go along site and feast on the amazing selection of foods."

"I have eaten regularly at the Sun Dragon for many years and I also use their takeaway service from time to time. I have always been very impressed by the warmth of the welcome and the friendliness of the staff. Service is always prompt and very efficient. Even when the restaurant is busy I have never experienced any delays in service. The menu is extensive and includes a very wide range of dishes to cater for all tastes. The quality of the food is consistently superb. Portions are big enough to satisfy even the biggest appetites and it always arrives at the table piping hot. The salt and pepper chicken wings are the best I've tasted and the chicken in Sezchuan hot sauce is a real treat. An excellent restaurant and great value money."

"We have visited Tai Pan now Tai Wu many times before. We love the food. Our children has come back for Easter and hence we decided to have lunch at Tai Wu, Manchester, Sunday the 7th of April. I did call up to book a place but was told that just turn up. So I thought, it must be quiet. Wrong!! Massive queue. Nevermind, you have to wait for good things in life. So we settled down to wait and eventually was led to a table. Wait for it, Table 13! Maybe that was an omen. We ordered drinks, starters and main course all at the same time. Drinks and starters were served in due course and then there was a long gap. We had some left overs from starters, seeing that the waitress gave us some take away boxes, which we thought were strange as usually that is given at the end of the meal. Still waiting. It was very difficult to get any attention of any of the waiters but eventually caught the eye of one. We explained that we have not been served the mains. It was getting late and we did not want to get caught up in the football traffic as Man Utd was playing Liverpool. The waiter apologised and we asked to take away the main course rather than eating there. That spoiled the whole experience. On top of that we had to pay for the service charge as well which should have been waived. I have emailed the restaurant about our experience but did not receive any acknowledgement and hence putting it out here. However, the food remains excellent and up until the mains, we were having a good time. Hopefully, this is a one off!"

"Only local to the area just over a year trying carry out shops and restraunts . I never booked tried my luck and my luck payed off . Restraunt its self clean and fresh looking comfortable seating . Staff very friendly and pleasant. Now the food wow presentation taste i went for a pre theatre 3 course spring rolls ' chicken satay best iv had with fried rice and salt and chilly chips none of them french fry things proper chips amazing .Then banana fritter with ice cream and syrup with a touch of merange in the ice cream . You may think im exadurating but this is by far the best food iv had in a restraunt 100 family run business . Thanks to the young waitresses too funny and caring looked like they liked there jobs kerp up the good work . I hope the manager passes this to them too and all staff from kitchen to front desk . "My wife and I visited the restaurant on Wednesday night. I ordered a special, which was steamed sea bass. It was cooked to perfection, but I would have appreciated it if the chef had asked whether I wanted the bones removed. I had to handle that myself and ended up with some mouthfuls of bones. While I did order it, I’ve been asked for my preference on deboning at other restaurants. The restaurant itself is lovely, with beautiful views, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. "Another truly excellent meal here at Peking . Great welcome , good atmosphere and surely the best Chinese in Bath by a long mark . "My partner and I visited this restaurant with a Groupon voucher for a meal for 2 with freshly squeezed juice. Prior to the visit we rang to book, the young lady on the telephone had poor english and struggled to understand our request, we eventually ended up with a booking for Rachel not Richard as was clearly stated !!! On arrival we were seated and given 1 menu between us. It was then 45 minutes before anybody came to take our order. The waiter clearly did not speak english so we had to point to the menu and he wrote down the relevant code number. We ordered drinks, a glass of rose and a pint of lager. I was brought a bottle of rose and had to explain I only wanted a glass. When the drinks arrived I was given a wine glass about 1/3rd full, Im sure this wasn’t the correct measure and certainly not £4.95 worth of wine. I then noticed there was lipstick on the glass, I asked for this to be changed. The dirty drink was left on the table and a clean glass was brought which I refused. I was eventually brought a replacement this time 2/3rds full, so clearly no set measure being used. After some time a girl appeared with a tray containing 2 main courses, not ours, I explained we hadn’t had our starters and she went back with the food then tried to serve it to another table. Eventually our starters arrived and were ok, decent sized portion and tasty. Table was then cleared and there was a long wait for the mains to arrive during which I asked for our freshly squeezed juice which hadn’t appeared. The orange juice was poured from a carton at the bar, so clearly not freshly squeezed. The mains eventually arrived, my monkfish in a hot cantonese special sauce was sweet and sour and my partners thai green curry was a vivid shade of green. Both tasted ok but my “hot” sauce was very disappointing. The service was very poor and certainly didn’t make me feel welcome therefore I don’t think I will be returning anytime soon."
