"This was our first visit to the restaurant, so we decided to try several dishes and share them. We couldn't finish everything, so I asked to have the remaining food packed up. To my surprise, they charged £1 for each takeaway box. We dine out in London regularly and have never encountered this kind of charge before. The reasons they gave for the charge varied from "Everyone does it now" (which I know is not true, as I was at Chinatown last night) to "We need to cover our expenses". Considering this is not a budget restaurant, I expect better service. The idea of discouraging customers from ordering too much food seems like a poor business strategy, especially if they are struggling financially. I dine out to enjoy good food, not to deal with inconveniences or arguments with the staff, so unfortunately we will not be returning."

I had a fantastic time at the restaurant, the food was amazing! Our waiter, Cheong, provided us with exceptional service and took great care of us.

Any dish is tasty, you won't be disappointed. Service is much better than Soho China town in general, hence a bit pricy and slightly upper crust oriented in my view. Quite a large capacity but dinner time is quite busy, so booking is recommendable. View menu

It was packed. If you 're going on a Sunday lunchtime, book. A very good selection of dim sum, all well cooked. Very quick and accurate service, considering how busy they were. I 've not done a Lunch with the Comedians for a while, so, Matt Lucas was at the next table

Hands down one of the best restaurants in London! The staff is amazing too. Especially 2 brothers that work together. My sons and I and my husband all feel this is the best Chinese food we've had in London. As good as our favorite place back home called Lao. Amazing food at Phoenix Palace! Amazing food and amazing hospitality!!! I will recommend this restaurant to anyone and everyone. We love Chinese food and Chinese culture and we love the staff and food and service at your restaurant!

I really enjoyed my meal at this restaurant, however, my wife ordered too much food so we asked if we could take the leftovers home. After paying the bill, which included a 13% service charge, I noticed that we had been charged £2 for two takeaway boxes. When I questioned this, they initially said it was for electricity costs, but then changed their story and claimed that all restaurants in Chinatown charge for takeaway boxes. As someone who frequents Chinatown in London, I know this is not true. This experience has left a negative impression on me, and we will not be coming back. View menu

This was a Sunday lunchtime visit. This is a superb Chinese restaurant very large but tables are very well spaced. It was almost full with a continuous stream of new customers. Good to see that so many Senior Labour politicians frequent this p[lace all the time despite the potentially expensive menu. If you combine Dim Sum with few main dishes you can get a delicious meal for about £30 a head exclusive of drinks. We certainly recommend if you are in London as quiet class beautiful restaurant away from Soho close to Baker St station or Marylebone main line. Booking essential at popular times.

This restaurant is located about 2minutes walk from Baker Street station. It is a good location for those visiting Madame Tussaud's and a good 15 minutes walk from Oxford Street (Selfridges). Decor: This is an impressive large restaurant. It is a traditional looking Chinese restaurant. The lanterns, decor etc... It certainly looks cleaner then the Chinese restaurants in China town (which I avoid). Table layout: It has lot of round tables, which is great for groups. They have proper cloth napkins. Food: The good is great and every dish is presented well. Every dish we ordered, we were happy with. However, it only gets 4 stars from me. Enjoy!

"The decor of the restaurant is really lovely. We were greeted as soon as we arrived. We placed our orders quite briskly. We received complimentary bread and olives, which was a nice touch. Our Bruchetta starter arrived a whole hour after we arrived, which was disappointing and far too long to wait for a cold and easy starter. The menu did not specify that the prawns on one of the bruschettas were raw! The waiter said service was slow because they were busy with Uber Eats and Deliveroo. Clearly not prioritising paying customers, who pay a 12.5% service charge, unlike online customers. Eventually, our main courses arrived. My pasta was only just cooked, so close to being undercooked and hard. They ran out of ricotta and replaced it with the tiniest amount of cheese so I asked for some more. Since ricotta was supposed to be the main ingredient of the dish. The tuna steak was lovely, and the veal could have done with a thinner breadcrumb batter. The sides, chips and zucchini, were £4.50 and very small portions for such a cheap side. So that was slightly disappointing. Overall, the pinot grigio white wine was very drinkable, and they brought tap water when we asked for it. And the whole staff were very polite. It was a shame the service was so slow, and the food could have been better for the price that it was. We also felt it was overpriced for the location it was, zone 2 London and not in the West End."
