Habaneros

3A Walm Lane, London I-NW2 5SJ, United Kingdom

Grill • Halal • American • Barbecue

"Habaneros in willesden green is one of a kind burger joint. The food and concept is Mexican-American inspired. It opened up in February 2015. Theres no franchise yet and this is the first and only branch so far. Everything is 100% halal, fresh and prepared fresh in an open kitchen. Menu is unique and original. Theres space to eat in and have option to take away. No deliveries but you can call and collect. Habaneros has gained alot of popularity in a short span of time, and i guess, that is because the prices are very reasonable and the flavours, menu and concept is unique. This place can get pretty busy pretty quick but the food and service is well worth the wait. The customer service is top notch; youre always acknowledged and welcomed with smile. Always happy to help you and more than happy to recommend food items off the menu should you be spoilt with choice. Youll be treated and served very well here. Theres a 5 star food hygiene rating on the door and staff prepare food using gloves; use different untensils to handle food to obviously prevent cross contamination. Great care is taken in presentation of the food. Not just the food but the restaurant itself is very aesthically pleasing. Easy on the eyes and the decorations and lighting give a great ambience and atmosphere. They beef burgers are cooked well done and served in brioche bun. The meat is very juicy, full of flavour and will just melt in your mouth. Theres very unique options of style of burger from Samurai to Big Memphis BBQ or El Classico, a classic burger, depending on what you like. I highly recommend the Habanero or the New York Stack. Whether its your first time or not these in my opinion are their trademark burgers. They offer beef sizes by weight; 6oz, 8oz, 12oz or 16oz!!! Chicken is steam cooked then grilled. Marination is homemade using fresh ingridients and the chicken, again, is delicious chewy and full of flavour. They have wraps strips or chicken burgers. I recommend their wings, its my favourite and tastes great.i have great fun just eating their wings. Dont know why. Make great side or quick take away They have standard drinks and offer mexican imported Jarritos soft drink. Huge selection of flavours to choose perfect to wash the tasty burgers down with. You can also get fresh ice cream milkshakes! Tastes great and good consistancy. They have a special shake each month. Ive had every flavour and recommend Reeses Pieces, Peanut Butter and banana, Rocher or Oreos milkshake. Loads of variety in flavour; have standard vanilla strawberry etc and assort chocolates. Youll easily find yourself coming back here trying everything from the menu; from their burgers to shakes and everything inbetween. Itll easily become your regular hotspot because of the service and food provided. They offer excellent sides you should try; onion rings (i recommend the cajun flavour. Very nice!! , sweet potatoe fries and youl even find yourself having a bit of banter with the staff. Honest food with honest prices this place is down to earth. Exceptional cuisine- worthy of a special journey if youre coming from far to eat here. Highly recommended- cant recommend enough. At the rate this business is going itl only get bigger and better. My regular hotspot. Cheap date (definitly wont seem like one a nice meal or if you want to eat out with your family this is the place to be."

The Boot Inn

The Boot Inn

Houghton Hampshire, Test Valley, United Kingdom

"Havng visited my son and daughter-in-law in Andover recently he booked The Boot as his choice of restaurant to celebrate his birthday. We were greeted by a lovely barman who saw to our drinks and very quickly we were shown to our table as the...reception for bookings and diners is adjacent to the bar. Furbished well and up-to-date with decor and seating that is a mishmash of different tables and chairs, which seams to be the in thing. We were given a well polished oval table very near a back exit door which to where it led i have no idea as we dined in the evening and it was dark. As a party of six this table allowed plenty of elbow room in which to comfortably eat. The shape of the table ideal to be able to converse with everyone which is always nice. The waitress was prompt with menus which are truly extensive with the addition to specials on boards mounted on the walls for everyone to see easily wherever you may be seated (more than one board). Needless to say we all took a time to choose. We all had starters, deep fried brie, soup, prawn cocktail and sissled king prawns in garlic with choritzo X All served more or less together which allowed us all to start at the same time. Each and every dish well presented, generous and enjoyed by all. For main dishes we had, belly pork with crackling, texas steak, lamb shank x pasta, and the most enourmous mixed grill i have ever seen in my life. Unfortunately my son would not allow me to photograph it, had to be seen to be believed. Again good presentation arriving in stages this time but with very little time to wait. We were asked if all was ok a short time after starting which i actually like, i feel this is a nice personal touch rather than here is your food i am off now Although they had a wonderful selection of desserts we honestly could not manage another mouthful, you know when you are sensibly full. I had a french coffee and my husband an ordinary coffe rather than more alcohol!!!! The reason for my title is that two table away from us Craig Revel Horwood was dining with what appeared to be a partner and what we thought we heard was his Mother and another guest for her birthday. Although a celebrity i can honestly say every diner that evening was treated exactly the same apart from the Chef coming to the table for a chat. Can live with that and the darlings heard more than once obviously. On paying at the desk on exit we meet the lady owner and her great loving puppy dog, to whom was only allowed out after talking to her, The Boot was more or less empty when we left. So if you like big dogs, be sure to cuddle this big softie he is so adorable. If in Andover and you do not want to be let down by going somewhere to dine i so highly recommend this characterful place to eat and drink. All in all a fantastic experience. This Landlady has so got it right, long may she continue."
