"I booked to come back here for my husbands birthday and it was absolutely gorgeous yet again. This time we had the picnic table. I had a panini and my husband had a toastie, both of them were really tasty. We also got a cup of homemade soup, yummy and a cup of salad. Then we had a scone with jam and clotted cream (delicious). We also had a chocolate brownie, a piece of rocky road and a cupcake all of which we took home as we were full but after eating them every one of them were delicious. We also had a pot of tea. The price you pay is really good for the amount of high quality products you get. Once again the staff were super friendly and remembered us for our previous visit. We will definitely be back again and highly recommend Miss Butterfingers to anyone wanting a lovely treat."

"Visiting Broadstairs, walking the streets and people know we enjoy afternoon tea. Came across this tea house, looked quaint and inviting, we entered. First impression was it looked a bit tatty and some of the tables were empty and not been cleared or cleaned. We..."

"if they want a pretentious pub where they need a dictionary to decrypt the menu and pinzette to eat them. they don't come here. if they are a warm friendly, well-defy country pub with a menu of traditional homemade food (to reasonable trips) and well-maintained ale, then this is the place large garden for summer days and beautiful open fire for the cold winter months. recently renovated on a high standard looking slim and modern while the country pub feel. great owners and employees and an ecclesiastical mix of natives who interact amd make them welcome. if they want to eat... Book or be ready to wait as this place is packed, but eating is worth it! I was here for 17 years and have seen the evolution first hand of what was a good pub, to what is now an excellent country pub that serves food. try it, they will not be disappointed!"

"I stopped with my two children, 6 and 8, for lunch. Nice little cafe, and the food was of good quality. I had the hot pork roll with stuffing and crackling it was very nice and seemed to be very popular! My children had the fish finger £6.50 and jacket potato £5.50 meal. They said the food was tasty but were both still hungry after the meal the portion sizes were smaller than they used to for children’s meals and we eat out quite a bit! . In particular, the jacket potato was only half a potato this is the first time we’ve ever encountered a jacket potato meal where you only get half the potato, so my 6 year old did wonder why his meal was missing half! In summary, good quality food but the value for money on children’s meals would likely prevent me visiting again."

"The Tudor House is my favourite place to go for lunch. The menu is fantastic for Vegetarians and Vegans, the portion sizes are generous and the prices are fair. Ivor and Paul are very attentive, friendly and polite and I can’t fault anything. Me and...my family held and a surprise birthday party for my Mum at The Tudor house and everything from the music to the buffet was fantastic! A real credit to Prestatyn. I’d highly recommend!"

"I visited this restaurant for their roasted vegan dishes and found a variety of options. I tried the dish with mozzarella, pesto, and tomatoes. The mozzarella could have been melted more; it seemed more like a cheese that wasn't fully melted. Overall, everything was flavorful. The staff was friendly and even refilled our water bottle. They have many vegan options and outdoor seating available. "

"Myself and my sister in law was on holiday with family and while they was off swimming we wanted to try some proper Devon afternoon tea, we found this amazing place in the most beautiful setting the lady that served us was so lovely even...though she didn’t actually work there she was a friend of the owner. She was lovely the food was amazing and the tea was perfect. We didn’t feel rushed at all and sat in the beautiful garden for a few hours. My only negative is that we don’t live closer to visit again. Well done to the owner you have created a beautiful setting. I would possibly advise that maybe to allow other to have the same experience you should send some leaflets to holiday villages as we found you on Google"

"We had been to Taste-Bud before for an evening meal and so we were expecting good food, we were not disappointed. Good atmosphere on this not too busy evening, lovely breads to start and then the beautifully presented 3 piece starter, stuffed peppers, mackerel croquette and suckling pork prosciutto, all so tasty, beetroot and Taleggio risotto which was so moreish and then the most lovely guinea fowl and broccoli. I had never had guinea fowl before but it was gorgeous, finished off with strawberry Elton mess with lovely Italian finger biscuits. Lovely bottle of red wine finished the meal well. If you get the chance to visit for an evening meal then do. Great night."

"I visited this restaurant a couple of times while staying at Fidden Farm. The pints were great, and the food was delicious. We booked in advance and our table was ready for us. Bringing our dog along was no problem. We were fortunate to be there on a Thursday night with Callie, who was fantastic and provided a local touch to our dining experience."

"Served through a letterbox hatch, scones were given to me already with the jam and cream on in a bag! I sat waiting for my order and heard the lady shouting through the hatch! Honestly i have never seen anything like it! The cream was sliding off the jam, i didn't even have a knife to smooth it down, the jam was too much i would have rather put my own jam and cream on, a couple who came after us ordered 2 toasted tea cakes, the lady serving shouted out the back door and put them on a table there, it reminded me of a sketch from Little Britain!"

"My best mate and I met up here for a drink and a spot of lunch his recommendation as he’s previously been here with family and liked the food. He had a tuna sandwich with chips which he said was very nice, I ordered the Steak Ale Pie Chips from the Specials board very tasty indeed, whilst next time I’ll try something else I’d also definitely have it again! Had I realised it came with its own allotment I’d of requested to the landlady to omit that from my plate as I don’t eat that, but next time I’ll know! To be fair the board didn’t mention the veg! Having read other people’s reviews I notice few complaints about attitudes, food wait times and also about allergy issues it’s a pub, not a 5 Star gourmet restaurant! If you ask stupid questions you’ll get an appropriate response I’d imagine!! It clearly states in big letters at each bar “We don’t do fast food” and also some allergy/gluten not free signs so I see no point in complaining when you’ve already been warned. It’s a country pub that does great home cooked style meals for a reasonable price. I’ll definitely be going back. The only thing that needs improvement in my opinion is some of the decor could do with freshening up. Although you can see they’ve made progress around the bar areas so getting there I’d imagine."
"I visit here often and there's a reason I went out on a blustery day to walk the 10 minutes there. The lovely women who work there clearly have a passion and pride for delicious healthy food. Made to feel welcome as soon as I enter, I'm given today's specials and offered a taster of delicious mushroom soup. I plumped for an Italian wrap and parsnip and ginger cake both were delicious and carefully prepared. Would recommend this little gem to anyone!"

"We went to our choir Christmas party and were extremely let down. The food was low quality, full of carbs, and even the chips were served cold. The room was chilly and only a few brave souls ventured out from under their coats. The pizza slices were cold and dry, the quiches had heavy and soggy pastry, and the sandwich fillings were scant and overwhelmed by bread. The only non-carb option were the cold chips. Even the dessert selection was lacking, with only basic supermarket options available."

"After driving past this hotel/restaurant a few times during our stay in this area, we decided to pop in to see if there was a table available for us and our two dogs. The staff were very friendly and showed us to a table outside. The service was excellent and food was great. Really enjoyed our time here and would definitely return."

"My wife and I stumbled upon this quaint coffee shop. As indicated by its longevity, it has been in business for a few years. The interior is cozy, albeit on the smaller side, but it still manages to feel comfortable. The atmosphere is pleasant and inviting. The staff are friendly and greeted us warmly as soon as we entered. We quickly found a table that had just been vacated by another couple, allowing us to enjoy the view out the window. A staff member promptly approached us to clean the table and engage in friendly conversation. The table was impeccably clean, aside from the used plates. The entire establishment was well-maintained and had a clean, fresh appearance. We ordered two sandwiches, which were both delicious. They were served with a side of fresh salad and coleslaw that complemented the sandwiches perfectly. The only downside was the location of the cash register, placed temptingly close to the cakes. It was impossible to pay without feeling compelled to grab a few cakes to go. Despite this temptation, we are eagerly looking forward to returning to this coffee shop in the future – with the resolve to resist the cakes next time."

"Craving a Cream Tea driving by this very glam Church/Tea room on our campervan road trip we simply had to turn back pay visit What a lovely quirky place Well worth a visit .. i enjoyed the coffee that much i wanted to purchase some to take with me for my cafetière But they had run out of there own special blend but sold other options. The busy staff noticed i was disappointed so the team rallied round to find me 2 empty canisters he blended me the beans to ground coffee in front of me and charged the same as the other bags of coffee That is going above beyond I’m Very gratefull for this kind gesture still thoroughly enjoying my coffee today .. the place is huge offers a wide range of gifts to purchase too Well worth a wonder in .."

"Popped in here for a coffee after a long walk, only 1 table left, which seated 4 people, there was 2 of us, halfway through drinking our coffee, the older lady, which I think was the owner, came to us and asked how long we were going to be, as there was a family of four waiting for the table and as there was only 2, asked us to give the table up, very rude and un professional, I would not return, I left a quarter of my coffee as she kept returning to the table and I felt forced to leave, and then she charged us full price."

"The Rose Crown are under new management, namely Ali and Ross. They have a strong pub and hospitality pedigree, most recently coming from The Stag at Mentmore, and successfully developing other people 's business and brand. It is now their turn, to do it for themselves. They are 3 months in, the Lease sign is down and they have already welcomed a strong set of regulars, nurtured a great group of young staff, provided a great xmas menu, setup super breakfasts, had specialist evenings, wakes, dancing; soon to be adding a great menu Burns evening and a Valentines do. They are mindful of the market they 're in, the importance of 'the local ' and providing the correct atmosphere, staff and entertainment. Personally, they look after me, my table of 12 cousins and have been great for my young daughter who works there, in her first job. They are striving for pub perfection and I commend them on their first 3 months and wish them well for their special journey for their customers. Also dog friendly! If you have a requirement, just ask them. Regards Neil R p.s. the food, staff and ambience are great difficulty in leaving to go home!"

"Popped in for a reunion with an old friend and her family after 34 years today. The staff were absolutely lovely, food was great. I am a vegan so it was lovely to be accommodated with a great soya latte and a date slice, which was lovely. My friend is a singer and wanted to sing a song in Swahili for me to mark our reunion. The staff and customers were absolutely fantastic audience and so very accommodating. Thank you to the lovely ladies at Chantry Tea Rooms"
