"While visiting family in Penistone we met at Cafe Creme for a late breakfast. We had the best coffee, I had a small (meaning less milk) flat white. I was totally surprised. The coffee is roasted in small batches by a local man. It was superbly unexpected in this small town. In addition, they had a huge range of homebaked gluten and dairy free cakes, to name a few Battenberg, Bakewell cake and tart, salted caramel, lemonade, and Victoria sponge. We shared a piece of salted caramel as a gluten tolerant person I thought the quality was superb. The cafe is run by a mother-daughter team. We got to meet the baker as she brought a beautiful Battenberg cake. Delightful spot, made me wish that I lived there."

Very welcoming and friendly staff. Great for brunch and excellent homemade cakes. A gem of a find for those of you who are gluten intolerant.

We often use Cafe Creme to cater for business meetings. They are always on time and provide a very delicious and fresh buffet lunch for us no matter how many we are catering for!

If I want a coffee in my home town this is my go to place. Always made welcome, the coffee is great and the cakes and snacks are fab, many and varied. I'm just sorry I don't get to visit often enough to savour everything.

Thursday, market day we stopped for lunch and had homemade burgers, choice of bun including gluten free. Really nice and filling. Plenty of lovely cake to choose from all gluten and dairy free. Ideal if you have allergies. Pleasant staff.

I went to this restaurant with a friend and we were both very pleased with our experience. We had a large tea pot for two and a delicious toasted currant tea cake. We ended up trying the tempting Raspberry and Vanilla cake on our second pot of tea, and it was absolutely divine. This cozy little coffee shop comes highly recommended.

First visited this cafe in January with our grandson. We thought it was good value. Revisited today. £5.50 for 1 sausage about 6 chips and a drink for our granddaughter. Staff friendly, but place seemed a bit grubby, feel vastly overcharged for child meal. Home made cake looks good but overall felt ripped off. Wont be visiting again.

A group of 8 friends gathered for coffee at our nearby cafe. The staff are incredibly friendly and accommodating, serving scrumptious gluten and dairy free cakes and pies. They are actively involved in the community, hosting a knitting group that knits for charitable causes, and are known as a "Happy Cafe". Cafe Creme is sure to offer you a warm welcome, and also provides drinks for takeaway.

Tried here as a change, from the usual. Very much worth it! Front is quite small but there are more tables in the back. Had a toastie, chips and victoria sponge and tea for afters. Lovely homemade chips,(did catch a few not quite done ones), nice bit of salad and coleslaw you can add on for an extra pound. The sponge was the highlight though! light and fluffy one slice was just not enough. Variety of cakes on display. Nicely decorated in pastels and homely feeling.
