Rude and prickly service. This was our day out. Didn't spoil it, but such a shame. Obviously wouldn't go again or recommend it.

Please take note of all reviews. Consistency does not lie. Extremely rude and unwelcoming staff with overpriced cold food. Even the ‘hot’ drinks were luke warm. Extremely poor service. Avoid at all costs.

We came for the Yorkshire Pudding Wrap and there was no disappointment. Turkey Yorkshire was delicious. I ordered the vegan cob without the mushroom and was offered a vegan sausage instead and it was out of this world. Friendly service, laid back atmosphere, would definitely recommend. View menu

This is my first time to Castleton for quite some time. I simply had to revisit Three Roofs Cafe. Once again service was fantastic, food was amazing and the atmosphere, nice and cosy. If you're in Castleton I definitely recommend calling in for a bite to eat or simply to grab a tea or coffee.

one of the best meals i’ve ever had, turkey was cooked well and there was a good amount of stuffing and cranberry sausage. chips were cooked perfectly and the gravy was amazing!! sister had the pulled pork and cheese baguette, she really enjoyed it also came with a nice side salad. fruits reasonably priced and latte was super nice. will be back

Group of 4 people, as soon as we walked in we were told where to sit, rather than being able to choose for our selves, which we would have preferred. We order 2 chocolate muffins, 1 brownie, a jacket potato and 2 soft drinks and 2 waters which came to £33. The food came out quickly and was nice, the jacket potato could have done with a little more filling though. Inside was nice and clean and well presented. View menu

The food was so fresh! You could tell everything was prepped with love and new each day. The chunky chips were heavenly and the coleslaw was the best I’ve ever had. Portions were huge and everything was exceptionally priced. The side salad had an amazing variety of veg as well. The tea was delicious and the coconut jam cake was perfect. The best part, they are dog friendly! Highly recommend a stop here, if only for a quick bite or drink to go.

On the 24th of November 2023, my husband and I had a difficult day at a hospice where we were asked about end-of-life preferences. Feeling overwhelmed, I decided to take him for a drive to Castleton. We ended up at a cafe where we had a disappointing experience. Despite my husband's frail condition and our exhaustion, the assistant rushed us to a table that was not suitable for him. When I requested a more comfortable spot, she was unhelpful and dismissive. The service was shocking, and the lack of care for my husband was evident. This was awful, wish we 'd gone elsewhere, we were moved from the spacious table we chose because it was a table of 4, and we were two, we were sat down on a table of two cramped in the corner with another man placed next to us. The table of 4 we originally sat at wasn 't touched the entire time we were there and was a very obvious attempt at the manager trying to capitalise profit at the detriment of customer service on the off-chance another table of 4 came in.
