"I had a chicken sandwich that was very small for the price they pay has not tasted bad, but not tasted amazing. my friend had the cod sandwich she enjoyed a lot, just said she needed more sauce (which I am sure they would have done if she had asked) not a bad little pub"

"We can fault nothing about our experience at Monteiths. The staff were so friendly and welcoming. The ambiance was really pleasant. But the stars of the show was the food...where do we start?! Starters: they were generous, incredibly flavoursome and really beautifully presented. This was the best smoked haddock I've ever eaten. And the haggis starter was wonderful. See photos Main courses: the pork belly was sublime and looked stunning. The sauce/jus that came with it had a depth of flavour that was outstanding. The venison with mushroom had a range of full-bodied flavours and was cooked to perfection. Desserts: we were ambitious to go for dessert was we were quite full, but couldn't resist tasting more of this amazing food. Lemon brulee looked so pretty but packed such a range of flavours. The dark chocolate mousse was extremely moreish. See photos All in all, a truly amazing dining experience."

"I have a bowl of cullen skink, I liked it, except I find it too salty. the haggis scotch ei was also good, except the sauce that came with him did not work well or compliment the court at all. the sticky toffee pudding was beautiful. the restaurant had a good atmosphere, quite dark, and the waitresses were friendly and friendly. the food came out very quickly."

"Location was amazing with the most beautiful views. The food was fine, hit and miss for our large table and the kids food wasn't great. The service was a bit challenging as well, they seemed a bit annoyed with our large table and honestly we seemed like a it of an inconvenience. We were a large table so maybe that was why Shame as the location and setting is spectacular Food: 3 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 5"

"ordered a whopper with cheese for a quick bite on the way home. there were others waiting (mother and two yong girls when I arrived. I'm still waiting when I'm waiting! looks like there's only two hired girls at the cash box and they're gonna make the food on the back. Anyway, I saw that the helicopter slipped down and 3 more smaller burgers (probably for the mother and daughter.) the girl continued to mess with the cash box and tried to correct another order, apparently, from the screams from the front to the back of the house. she was fed and asked me to give my helicopter by asking that it was ready (which she had not noticed to be confronted with me, I am busy doing something else." I tried to be jovial and not fight about the complexity of the mahle that are greeted by me.' she gave me the helicopter and I went. eat about 5 minutes later and say the burger was luke warm would be an understatement. service and eating is shocking and not comparable to their cannock joint!"

"On an overnight stay in Nottingham my son and I ventured out to find somewhere different to eat and discovered the Gourmet Burger Kitchen. Firstly, I have to say, the food, the staff and the location are all five star. We ordered from the App, just to try it, and soon we were brought our burgers and some 'skinny fries '. The burgers were excellent, our initial reservations about the high price for a burger were soon quashed. The flavours popped in your mouth and we were surprised as to just how good eating a burger could be! I had a vegan jack fruit burger and my son a chicken one...both with lots of tasty pickles and sauces. We both had the very best thick banana milk shake with them. We probably wouldn 't order the skinny fries again however, as they were the tiniest fries.. literally like matchsticks, and although very cute and a novelty, didn 't really add anything to the meal. Now, I was going to knock off half a star for two reasons..the price is high..and for such prices and a great menu I felt the typical fast food type interior could have been a little more plush...but to be honest it didn 't bother me enough to do so. For a special occasion, or for a special treat, I 'd highly recommend a visit there."

"ambiente 5/5 taste 4/5 service 4.5/5 price 3/5 ambience when I came to the place, I knew that I would enjoy my time here. from furniture to light everything is beautifully placed, the variety of lights decorating the restaurant is crazy. taric I went here with my friends, from whom 2 vegetarians were and fortunately gourmetburger kitchen managed to also please their taste buds, which is rare in such a case. we ordered a classic chicken, classic bark meat, coro shake and two classic veg burger. all of them tasted delicious with some really tempting sauces on their sides.(must taste the kiwi fruit sauce) the shake was thick and super delicious. service that reached our tables within 10 minutes and the server made us welcome. price okay so I have problems here, because only a 6oz burger I had to pay £9, which I think is too much for a court that does not even contain one side. for a complete eating I wouldn't make it pay this price, but for just one burger, it hurts somehow:p I'll explain it to you. I guess so."

"We were able to enjoy the new dining area upstairs which was a fantastic atmosphere. We ate buffalo chicken wings, the Argentinan steak loaded fries, the original chicken loaded fries, frickles, a gooey brownie and we brought some sausages home for the dogs (completely dog-friendly ingredients . All of the food was SUPERB and the service was great. The beer and drink selection is awesome and we would definitely partake in latenight drinks and nibbles here (open till midnight!! and whilst we didn't have the dogs with us this time, it's DOG FRIENDLY!! These guys have done such an amazing job with this restaurant and just keep going from strength to strength. Definitely check them out when in Aberdeen."

"Have been to this restaurant on a couple of occasions previously and had really good food, this was the reason why I decided to book this place for my dads birthday. We were a family of 17 booked in for lunch and we all had a 3 course lunch with many of us ordering steak. I have to complement the chef as the steaks were cooked very well and we all enjoyed the food. The service was also good, particularly from one girl unfortunately I didn’t catch her name but she was very attentive throughout the meal and very helpful with all our requests. The reason why I have to give a one star for this restaurant was because of the supposed management policy on not allowing us to cut or eat the birthday cake we had bought in following our meal. The reason the manager gave for not allowing this was ridiculous and not something I have ever experienced in any restaurant. What made it even more frustrating was the fact that we weren’t made aware of this when we gave the birthday cake to staff when we first came into the restaurant. We weren’t allowed to eat our own birthday cake that we had bought in because of allergy issues and the restaurant won’t take responsibility if any issues arise. I had baked the cake myself and obviously know if my family have any allergies. The manager I spoke with was not very apologetic or helpful at all. Seemed like once they have your money they don’t care about customer service afterwards. We spent over £500 in this restaurant and what was suppose to be a special occasion was utterly ruined by this managers attitude. It’s such a shame as before this happened everyone was saying how much they enjoyed the food and how they’ll be back, but this has left a sour taste and none of us will be back or recommend this place to anyone else. Just a warning for others who may want to have a special occasion in this restaurant as they also hire out a private dining room you won’t be allowed to bring your own cake in to eat."

"the tales of the cocktails are on the way in this week in edinburgh by new orleans. it is a great excuse (not that we need one) to go and try some fabulous cocktails made by some pretty hot bartenders in some of our best bars in the city. yesterday I went to chop house in market street to try. they had joined with darnley's gin and porter rye to bring some very inventive cocktails on the table, like darnley's gin with older flower and pine needles; darnleys spiced gin with burned pfeffer, orange and bitter; and darnleys gunpowder gin with vermouth and love! next to this we were treated with some great canapés from the chop house, among them carbon flame steak, scallops in Chimmichurri sauce with chili flakes and bark meat with wood charcoal mayo. we were good and really looked around. the personal is fabulously friendly, chatting, knowledgeable. her bartender matteo white really his cocktails and made us some amazing drinks with some unique ingredients and all made with love! I can't wait to go back and enjoy everything on their menu."

"We were a party of 10 adults and 3 children, greeted and made to feel welcome by Olivia who looked after us brilliantly all evening. We had various menu choices and every dish was excellent with each person being served at the same time. The other waitresses assisting Olivia also did a fantastic job, the whole experience ensured a great evening for my wife’s birthday. Look forward to seeing you again soon. "Came here with a friend. I had finished my dish before his arrived. He was waiting 25 minutes for his food. They forgot to put his order through apparently. This is unacceptable. The worst Nandos ever. Food was great but service was abysmal."

"This excellent hamburger restaurant is located right in the center of Milton Keynes shopping area. I loved the exterior of the restaurant. The waitress was friendly and professional, willing to accommodate any requests we had. The food was delicious, especially my sister's double cheeseburger which came with sweet potato fries (which were tasty) and coleslaw. The kitchen is open, allowing customers to watch the cooks at work. Our food came out quickly, only a 15-minute wait. The restaurant's layout and decor are simple yet attractive. The menu has a wide variety of options, including vegetarian, kids' meals, and gluten-free choices. Parking is available but can be pricey, especially in the red zone. The restaurant is located near the food court and a bank in CMK. Takeout orders are also an option. I highly recommend this restaurant."

"Polite and welcoming staff. Four people at the table for 12 noon lunch. Two choices were immediately unavailable fish and chips and lasagne. Or birthday girl had been looking forward to her fish and chips treat. No obvious gluten free options for one of our table. Helpful waiting staff helped with this. Creamy seafood linguini lacked creamy texture. Mentioned to staff. Little or no meringue in the mini Eaton mess. Other mini pudds were excellent, though were served after coffee had long been drunk. Service was exceptionally slow and was clearly not the fault of the waitress who was helpful throughout, though she appeared embarrassed at everyone’s long wait around our area of the restaurant. A busy pub but by no means full. I hope that my comments are useful to aid your staff training. The Cowherds setting was a very pleasant way to catch up with friends and mark a significant birthday. "I and my engaged were greeted by a very friendly employee who asked where we would like to sit instead of just adding somewhere I thought to be a nice note. we were told by the specials and advised about drinks etc. the menu has exactly the right choice, not too overwhelming, and the prices are appropriate for the inner city kitchen. we ordered a special ronaldo and a C-Rex burger to share between us, with sweet kartoffel friries and regular fries. they can have the rindburgers cooked to their taste, although they recommend medium, that is great! eating was incredible, probably the best burgers we have ever eaten; all the aromes worked together and the portion sizes are great for the price. the only thing I would say is that the burgers can get messy, so that the provision of wet wipes would be useful, as serviettes do not sometimes do justice. also the regular fries were very cut, would be nice to see them thicker and perhaps with the skin on. service during the meal was perfect and although we have dessert, their lists of puddings looked incredible, so will definitely save space at the next visit, which hopefully will be very soon!"

"This pub is fantastic, offering a friendly atmosphere and delicious food at affordable prices. I really appreciate the original charm and character of the place. Unlike some other pubs we visited nearby, this one was welcoming to everyone, including crusty old bikers like myself. I will definitely be returning to dine here again."

"popped in to order some food and the smell of the food was yummy, young family eating at the table...it was busy...I thought this must be good ,judging by the orders the chef had to cook... I went for the chef's special wrap I ordered, can of coke and crunchy fries, should be enough... the price was very reasonable and when asking about the sauces, all homemade on the premises. i went for mango and lime. got the order and sat at the table...oh my god!! this is way better than nandos.... if you want proper healthy food then come to chickie one in Bournemouth. I will be ordering here again..."

"A mixed review, venue is OK, staff friendly, tables and seating area outside could do with a good sweep thorough and clean. Toilets were pretty disgusting in the ladies. We arrived at around 6 on a Friday, it wasn't busy by any means, but perhaps there was a reason for this! We had two meals, one fish and chips, which my other half says was edible. I unfortunately went for one of the specials, langoustine tails with pasta. I anticipated given it is on the coast, the tails would be spot on and pasta in a lovely rich sauce. The langoustine tails were like rubber, the spaghetti had been either broken, or chopped into pieces around 4 long, and all was luke warm and floating in a rather worrying clear liquid which had no taste whatsoever. Sprinkled with cheese of an inane sort. This and our drinks cost over £40. No we didn't complain, and should have done at the time, but I just didn't want the hassle quite honestly. V disappointed as we don't get away often and the meal was supposed to be a relaxing start of our weekend away."
"Myself, husband and son were in Windsor for the day as part of my son's 18th Birthday celebrations. Where we went for lunch was his pick and he really fancied a burger so Gourmet Burger Kitchen seemed an obvious choice. I have to say I'm not the biggest burger fan so the thought of a burger restaurant didn't thrill me. Firstly we were greeted by a very friendly and helpful member of staff who quickly sat us down. The menu choice was impressive and despite initial reservations I found several items that sounded tempting. I decided to opt for the Chargrilled Chicken Satay Burger and went for the bunless option. My son had The Mighty with fries and onion rings and the husband had The Major Tom with the addition of avocado and bacon. Drinks wise we had an Oreo milkshake, Ginger Beer and a makeshift Mocha as it is not something on their menu but our helpful server was very quick to oblige and create a Mocha for us. For someone who was decidedly underwhelmed at the thought of a burger restaurant it was the most delicious meal I've had in a long time. My bunless burger was served with Homeslaw and corn in place of a bun, a very nice substitute. As for my husband and son ...well firstly my son was beaten by his massive burger which is a first big my husband polished off his. In conclusion great food made even better by the fabulous staff. Thank you we will be back next time we visit."
