Crispy, golden-brown onion rings, lightly seasoned and perfectly fried for a crunchy bite.

"after I just returned from dinner at the brand new Burger compound in hampstead, I can confidently say that Spielburger will do for burger what made Spielberg for films; offer quite good. before coming to the burgers, it is worth mentioning some important features of the restaurant. first, we were taken entirely by the good look of the staff; while an attractive waiter may not require a good eating, it will certainly improve the culinary experience. second, the choice of music; upbeat chillout music, which encourages a cuddly yet relaxed atmosphere. the service was impeccable. before I looked at the menu again, our waiter was in the process of making drinks orders, but not... read more"

"I will be honest here (it is not the whole point)...we love this place, the atmosphere is always secret and cozy. After we booked the New Year's Special, we were all fired for a four curs extravaganza.well. we had the four curses, of which the starter and dessert were by far the better options. my partner sat down for the lamb from the main menu, which unfortunately consisted of a large amount of gristle, the dauphenise kartoffeln were a baptism of moss. my band augensteak was quite delicious, but again was quite gristy. the cheese and the cookies were in order. the actual handle was with the price of drinks. we ordered a bottle of pinot and managed to get four glasses out of it. the two extra glasses, the price was two third of the price of a bottle. I'm sure a good waiter might have pointed this out to us. we can't knock the enthusiasm of our server (the name I didn't get), she was very attentive and had a great personality. the evening was pleasant enough, and the disco was not too loud (for a few cold crows like us and our experience would not stop us from visiting again"

"seriously lives up to the ultimate carvery title. so fresh, yorkshire puds are constantly freshened. chefs who fill up veg and meat to keep it flowing fresh and hot. wonderful selection of sweet. delicious gravity. all very well seasoned. veggie options very tasty. can not recommend mushroom wellington enough. carnivores of the group had to have a doggy bag! desserts were all homemade. cheesecake was like a dream. light and very tasty. very good. strong and tasteful. book early for Sunday dinner,Place is packed. price very reasonable in my opinion for a top notch carvery. the personal is a joy. thanks for a beautiful Sunday"

"Getting to The Rythre restaurant can be a bit of a challenge as it is located in a remote area with a flooded road. However, the journey is definitely worth it. The staff is attentive without being overbearing, making every customer feel special. The food is cooked beautifully and served promptly. Despite it being Valentine's Day, the service was efficient. The starters were presented nicely, especially the haggis bon bons which were succulent. The main course, a 38 ounce T-bone steak, was tender and cooked to perfection. The homemade chips were a hit with my wife, and the additional sides of onion rings and garlic mushrooms were also delicious. The portions were generous but we managed to finish everything. The bill was reasonable considering the quality of the food. Overall, it was a wonderful way to celebrate a special occasion with my special lady."

"Well....if you love cheese...you will love the many offerings at the boozy cow. It's one of those places that u are stuck making a decision as everything sounds good. I eventually decided to go into full on FAT mode and have a mac and cheese waffle and cheesy skinny (how fitting) fries. The mac and cheese waffle is essentially a mac and cheese bite, the size of a piece of toast, that is swimming in a wonderful pool of creamy cheese sauce...covered in MORE cheese and onions. Every Sunday should start with this genius and calorific glory. The fries were also lovingly wrapped in melted cheese and mustard. It was one big epic feast. My friend had the gingerbread milkshake which is here for...read more"

"Managed to get a table at late notice which was good. Table was small for 4 persons and dogs were allowed in which sadly for daughter was not great as she’s terrified of them. Service was fine and meal arrived quickly. The menu online is not the menu offered on a Sunday as prices are more expensive than online. (Said £6.95/7.95 and upward online) Still for £9.95 not a bad Sunday lunch price however you really don’t get a lot of food. We got one bowl of veg between 4 plenty carrots, cauliflower and cabbage but not a lot of turnip 3 spoons and it was gone. A separate bowl of mushy peas. We did not get a lot of meat and one person had only a few shredded pieces on their plate and small spoonful of mash/roasts. One large Yorkshire. Food tasted nice just don’t expect a huge portion. Desert menu was plentiful priced around £5 each. We enjoyed deserts and quite filling. Drinks reasonably priced also."

"The staff behind the counter were extremely rude, slamming phones and banging utensils because the person responsible for making the chips was late from his break. They showed no consideration for the customers waiting in the shop who had to listen to this unpleasant behavior. The chips were undercooked, white, and tasted like raw potato. Overall, it was a terrible experience."

"We (family of four with a teen pre-teen are staying in Childswickham just outside Broadway for a weeks holiday so thought we’d try the Childswickham Inn Brasserie as we could walk there through the pretty village, it has great reviews and it’s dog friendly. We booked for a Friday evening and were given our choice of tables in the very pretty garden area. Everything about the place is wonderful. The pub itself is a lovely country style inn with a very warm welcoming atmosphere. The outdoor area is beautiful with a lit pergola under canvas canopies and very comfortable chairs and roomy tables. The staff were genuinely friendly and helpful and made a fuss of our two Labradors. The food was superb. Honestly some of the best traditional-but-next-level pub fare we’ve ever had. I had the pie of the day which was lamb, husband had Cumberland sausages and the kids had burgers. All completely homemade, served quickly, fresh piping hot and with generous portions. Husband suffered from extreme pie envy when he tasted my dish! We couldn’t resist the puds so opted for sticky toffee puddings and chocolate brownie. Again, all homemade, generously portioned and utterly delicious. The food was so good we decided to spend our final meal here and opted for Sunday lunch. We all had sirloin of beef which were served with the best (and biggest! Yorkshire puddings we’ve ever had. We’re from Yorkshire and we know a perfect Yorkie when we see (and taste one and these deserve the highest praise. The beef was perfectly cooked, thickly cut and it melted in the mouth. It was served with a generous portion of roast potatoes, cheesy leeks (a personal favourite! , a selection of perfectly cooked veg lovely rich gravy. Desserts were equally fabulous. Genuinely up there with the best food we’ve ever eaten and exceptionally good value. I just wish it was closer to home as we’d be returning constantly! I cannot recommend this place highly enough. Perfect food, wonderful service, lovely ambience and surroundings and great value, more than deserving of five stars. Thank you for two wonderful visits, you were a highlight of our holiday!"

"The food was what we expected, cannot complain about that! On the other hand, the customer service is a hit or miss depending on what server you receive. We did notice a tall, slim, blonde young girl server, who was polite, helpful and informative. But we received the young, blonde, small young server with fake eyelashes and a bad attitude. As customers who also work in the hospitality industry we are always polite and understanding to staff, as we know what the work can be like. Regardless of how polite we were as customers she was not having it. Her eyes were rolling at us, and didn’t even do the bare minimum as to bring over the pizzas to us (as we ordered via QR code to avoid having her over at our table as much as possible) without giving us dirty looks. I highly recommend this employee gets taught some customer service skills from her co-worker as they were so lovely ! I understand employees can have bad days, but this was unnecessary and luckily did not ruin our positive energy after a nice evening."

"We had booked a table a week in advance, and when we arrived were shown to an empty room beyond the toilets, freezing cold, tinny music coming out of a wall speaker. Terrible. Complained, marched back to the main bar to sit at one of the available tables there. Very weird and now I felt awkward as I’d already complained about something within 1 minute of being there. We then ordered 3 drinks from the drinks menu, the waitress returned 5 minutes later to tell us that 2 of the 3 were unavailable so we ordered something else from the bar. Then the food…one of us has to eat gluten free we asked which meals were gluten free and the waitress went away for a while and then came back and announced that only the gammon and chips was. This is what used to happen about 10-15 years ago when all pubs were clueless about food intolerances, nowadays many meals are cooked gluten free, but this was like some kind of throwback. We eventually settled on a lamb duo, with the shepherds pie removed, but no alternative offered until we asked for it, and then it was mashed potatoes. Wow.I ordered slow cooked pork belly with crackling, but when it arrived I had to send it back because it was so badly cooked. The fat had not been rendered down so it was a lump of inch thick fat with soggy warm skin on the top, pretty revolting. The other meal was hunters chicken the chicken had been breaded and fried, ok, but then it had 1 little piece of bacon on top and a dribble of bbq sauce really rubbish, no effort made to create something so pub classic and delicious as it should be.which was also a bit weird and disappointing . So we left having had an awkward and strange meal the manager was very nice but her staff were mostly clueless about the food and drink, maybe they had just started that night?"

"The Olive Branch has become a favourite and we returned for my birthday lunch and a visit to the Yew Tree Avenue. We ate outside in the sunshine in one of their uniquely decorated gazebos, although the pub is lovely and full of character. Before...I go any further, I write this review because I know that they take on board our comments and strive to get better and better. There was a big lunch party in the barn, so parking was tight and we were worried about noise. We needn’t have worried as the hubbub subsided once their food was served. We ate from their “Lunch for Less” menu. Heritage tomato gazpacho with smoked creme fraiche and wild garlic and I had the pub made black pudding with apple, curried pickled onion, egg yolk and crispy pork. Both delicious although I’d have liked more of the pickle and the crispy pork. Decent size portions none the less. We both had the pan fried sea bass with cockles and prawn pearl barley in a shellfish bisque with sea vegetables, lemon and fennel. We were given a spoon for the “soup” but it was all absorbed by the pearl barley. We were expecting it in a little cup on the side... so why the spoon? Unfortunately, the sea bass was only one fillet cut between us. Not good enough when mains are over £18. Maybe they were running low, because of the big lunch in the barn? Having said that, the skin was deliciously crisp and melt in the mouth and the flavours were superb. We don’t tend to go for meals that are all protein and carbs, so it would have made our day if the sea vegetables and fennel had been much more evident or we’d been asked if we’d like other a salad on the side. As for asking, no one came back to ask if everything was alright... I had asked for the beer list to order another with the main, but we had finished it before anyone came back... may be because of the big lunch in the barn??? Next time we’ll book a different day if there’s a big lunch in the barn! The deserts were every bit as good as you’d expect. Banana pannacotta, dark chocolate mousse, hazelnut ice and Sticky toffee pudding, miso butterscotch and Guinness ice cream. I’d have been happy with just the Guinness ice cream! The birthday celebration was marked with petit fours for both of us, on a platter iced with Happy Birthday. A nice touch, thank you. A small deduction was made by us for the standard of service, which we explained, and were thanked. Hopefully on our next visit, these inconsistencies will be rectified. The Olive Branch can excel... and they do listen."
"Lovely staff and service. Had run out of the kebabs that were personally recommended (at 7.30pm) and also my second choice of ham hock, but my third choice of pie of the day was great. The draft San Miguel was perfect. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5"

"I had high hopes as I am a pizza lover, how wrong could I have been. Greeted by a rude member of staff, so not the best start. The cafe was busy, very busy, the tables are very crammed in together and so much so the back of my chair was being hit by every person and memeber of staff walking past....... While trying to order the member of staff seemed more concerned in talking to people walking through the door and other members of staff, a bit annoyed, we still ordered had we had high hopes of some of the best pizza in Devon..... How wrong we were. My pizza was how to put it..... pretty awful, I've had better supermarket own microwave pizza's...... the toppings didn't reach the edge which was VERY dry so that was left. I paid and left, why I paid I have no idea. Rude staff and below par pizza, just don't bother, you will be better off going to Pizza Hut."

"rest. harry ramsden when we enter the harry ramsden restaurant in brighton, England, we will realize that everything is focused on the so dear “fishing and fries”. the fish and harry ramsden chips is the largest restaurant in the world that offers this typical dish in the country. normally this type of food is purchased in small stalls and shops of the cities closest to the coast. In this case we are talking about a real restaurant focused only on fish with fries the menu includes several types of fish being cod (bad cod) and the haddock (eglefino) party kings. to accompany you are the fries and several smaller dishes such as the puree of peas, cooked beans, onion in vinegar, varied sauces and other local curiosities. In general, any British will tell you that real fish and chips have to eat on the street, in a cardboard box or paper. I agree, so you know better and most of the time there is always a port, sea or river nearby where you can sit quietly."

"had a great night stay here. the rooms have everything they need and love the fact that, although they do not do the breakfast, they receive fresh milk and müsli provided in their room. they are the little things that make a big difference! all staff were friendly and helpful. we also had a meal that was delicious. I had scallops as main and nabebie had sampi and we had pizzas for lunch the next day. would absolutely recommend to stay here and eat. Fab atmosphere with a beautiful log fire"

"beautiful cool place with good melodies and relaxed vibe cocktails were decent – the only downer was that everyone came with two plastic straws – a pretty surprising lack of eco-sensitization, as we are at the sea, and the general younger, cool mood. the place"

"The food was good, and the service was okay, but the dining room was quite cold. There was a dirty knife on the floor near our table, which made me question whether the area had been properly cleaned; it seemed that the vacuum hadn’t reached our section. Overall, it was a decent experience, but I didn’t feel completely able to enjoy my lunch."

"Really didn't mind waiting to queue to get into this lovely restaurant. The outdoor seating was adequately covered and comfortable seating. I seen people with their gorgeous dogs , eating with their owners at some of the tables. The food was yummy!! I had the salmon and Asian noodles and my partner had chilli con carne, half rice and half chips. Both were fresh and tasty!! There was lots to choose from of the menu and a kids menu too. The toilets are lovely and well kept. We ended up having a dessert as it was weds so all food discounted Mon, Tues and weds throughout. We both had the new York cheesecake, it was super nice!! All in all a great place, lovely atmosphere and serves in the evenings too. All staff are super friendly and helpful. I would highly reccomend anybody travelling to or around betsy-y-coed and needs a great place to eat, this is well worth a visit."

"Honestly the best food I’ve ever had! We booked here based on the positive reviews we read and managed to get a last minute booking on a Saturday evening. The restaurant is greatly, lovely atmosphere inside. Staff were all great and attended to us throughout to make sure we had everything needed. We were advanced on 6/7 dishes between 2 people which worked out to be plenty. We ordered 7 in total and didn’t leave much (could of happily had 6). Then we had a dessert each because it’d be rude not to! It’s tapas style, so you are served your dishes as and when they are ready. This means a couple may come out at once and then you get a break before the next. I really liked this as you could take your time when eating. Would highly recommend and I’ll definitely be heading back on my next visit to Glasgow "
