"Kicking this off with the location! Nice quiet town. 5 mins from me. Great parking space. Good clean pub/restaurant! Good friendly people! Made to feel at home. Seating is great! The burger and chips was great. The burger is juicy and cooked perfectly. Chunky chips and gravy was top .. The battered onion rings were to chunky. Abit thinner and they would be perfect! As they were abit to moist The salmon linguine was ok. The salmon caviar was missing. But was decent. Very well priced to. We would return"

Cozy Pub. Friendly, polite staff. Food was great and the real ale was top notch. Large rear garden and seating area at the front in a calm quiet village. Will visit again, when in the area.

Loved this place, we were stopping in Barlow for a week for a holiday and came across this fantastic place. The owners were fantastic and could not do enough for us and was spotless and food was mouthwatering and homemade. Definitely will be back!

We’ve just had a lovely roast the The George. It’s our first time, but we will definitely be back. The atmosphere was really nice, the food was great and we were served by Lottie, who was polite, friendly, engaging with not only us but all of the other tables around us. Really great service!

Only stopped for a cheeky pint mid walk. Based on a sample of one pint, very well kept beer, lovely setting and very pleasant staff. Inside it's quite food orientated, but the outdoor seats were great to enjoy the evening sun. I'll come back soon and hopefully upgrade to 5 when I've spent a little more time here.

nce welcome in the bar. beautiful table in the appendix. then wait for an hour to eat. on a Sunday, the roast as the sweet must be prepared, why can it take so long? three of us chose the little roast. there was a piece of pavement, a small band carrots and a spoon of cauliflower. the bratkartoffel was very poor. a tiny spoon full of filling. the Yorkshire pudding was overdue. for £7.50 was not worth a bad one, but the waiting period was ridiculous. I will not come back soon.
