"the local is located in the center of the village of lacco ameno. the staff is very kind and affable, he found us a seat despite not having booked and it was Saturday night (I recommend the reservation to sit on the terrace overlooking the sea). we ate a first of the house (it was a squid spaghetti) and an oretta grilled with eggplant parmigiana. all in all was a good dinner but the parmigiana was not the typical Neapolitan parmigiana (the eggplants were not breaded and fried as traditional) while the fish was not at all fresh. the price is in line with the other restaurants we attended on the island"

So I don't really like fish, but we came here for a top recommendation. and it is open assembly that many are not. I got the gnocchi and it was fantastic. fresh tomato sauce, parmigiana and perfectly cooked. white wine is decent, but somehow it is missing from red.
