"What 's the point in reserving a table, weeks in advance only to turn up to the restaurant to find that the booking was ignored me we had to wait 10 minutes for staff to clear a table? Waste of time. Baroushka has gone from a lovely restaurant into a 'pack 'em in ' fast food joint."

"We went to Wagamama Salisbury for lunch, having been quite a few times before but not for several months. I’m not sure what might have changed but it was a real disappointment. On the plus side, the service was reasonable and both the tata squid and hoisin duck buns were tasty and quick to the table. However, the tantoman beef ramen and grilled chicken ramen were both very bland with broth that I can only describe as tasting like school dinner gravy. Both were left less than half finished. Equally, the chicken and prawn pad Thai was quite greasy and again, bland with no spice heat at all. The dish was saved through the addition of lashings of soy sauce and chilli flakes at the table, but that shouldn’t have had to have been the case. Despite seeing the ramen bowls hardly touched, our server didn’t ask if all was okay, they simply cleared the table and reminded me that I could pay via an app. All of this coming in at a whisker shy of £70 as well, (yes £70 for three noodle dishes and some squid balls) left a very bitter taste in my mouth, pun intended. I won’t be back."

"We stumbled upon this brasserie after realising that the Italian restaurant nearby, where we had booked a table, was not a place we wanted to go to, as it didn't seem inviting at all... So we googled for a suitable alternative in the vicinity and found this brasserie, which we thought is always a good choice. And we certainly didn't regret it! Although the restaurant was quite full, they were able to accommodate us without a reservation. Service throughout was very prompt and friendly! Very good menu options, and with the waiter also very flexible to respond to requests for substitutes of side dishes. Typically French brasserie atmosphere with great food and service. What more could one ask for?"

"The food at this restaurant is excellent, especially the bruschetta starter which was fresh and full of flavor with perfect texture. All the dishes we tried were outstanding, but the standout was the half chicken with dips. While not the cheapest option, the quality of the food makes it reasonable value for money. However, our experience was marred by poor service - despite multiple attempts to get the attention of waitstaff, it took four of them to finally bring us a glass of house red during our main course. In contrast, the gentleman next to us received his glass of water within 30 seconds. This made us feel like second-rate customers and unfortunately, it overshadowed the excellent food. While we commend the chef, it's a shame that their hard work is let down by others. Despite this, our experience may not be typical and so I have left a rating of 4 stars."

"The staff were all polite and attentive, although two dropped plates while we were there seemed a little clumsy. Out of four main meals, only two were good; an award winning pie had stodgy undercooked pastry and the vegan shepherds pie, described as being full of mushrooms and kale in a tomato sauce, was 99% lentil and very dry. A single mushroom slice was very disapointing. The celery that was served with the baked Camembert was inedible, stringy and discoloured down the middle of every stalk. On the plus side, the beer battered fish was melt in the mouth, our request for gluten free bread with the starter was brought out without hesitation, the apple juice was crisp and fresh and the americano coffee was extremely flavoursome. We've never visited here before and wonder if the popularity of the restaurant, every table was in use on a Tuesday lunchtime, has led to a drop in quality, as other reviews i read prior to booking were all very good"
